My room was located on -2 floor so I had an actual patio outside my room. It was very spacious with a very good air conditioner. The breakfast had both hot and cold options. But, be careful, if you decide to eat outside. DO NOT LEAVE FOOD UNATTENDED. The pigeons will help themselves to some breakfast, too. One morning, someone made of the best chocolate croissants I ever had. It was an easy walk to the promenade and restaurants.
We enjoyed our two nights here as part of a tour group. Our room had wonderful views and plenty of space. The hotel has a nice feel to it. The breakfast buffet was tasty and the dinner buffet was also very good.
We loved everything about this beautiful old hotel. We had a large room, with a balcony, overlooking the Adriatic Sea. We felt like the rich and famous in this hotel AND in this beautiful city! The staff were so nice and friendly. Of all the hotel breakfasts that we ate on our tour, this breakfast was BY FAR THE BEST ONE. Staying here was a memorable experience.
We have just returned home from this hotel, and I have to write this review for all the great stuff, especially Patricija on the reception, who couldn't be more helpful and friendly. We want to thank her once more for giving us great room, making sure we and our baby have everything we need, even for some treats for out trip back home:). She definitely made our staying more pleasant and we couldn't be more thankful. Our baby boy is sending his regards to all the ladies in the restaurant! :)
So, this was our first time in Croatia and we didn't really know what it would be like. After a very pleasant flight we were taken to our hotel, expecting to leave our bags and look around as it was only just noon. Not a bit of it.....they knew what time we were arriving and the room was ready early ! A great start. And the room was excellent : spacious and clean with a little sitting room area and a balcony. If I had to find fault, I would have liked to be able to make coffee / tea in the room, but I am picking . Having been let down on a couple of trips we had booked before leaving England we had to sort things out ourselves, and this is where Patricija on reception stepped in. She was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble, from bus timetables to maps to restaurants, you name it she had it covered. And she gave us a little gift to say we were good guests because we had approached reception so many times ! So many just check in , check out, ask nothing, she said. There were so many helpful hints from the staff. We were bed and breakfast, but were told that one of the sister hotels did a fabulous breakfast and we should try it, so we did and it was , indeed, excellent. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. One of the friendliest places I have ever had the pleasure to stay.…
