Right in the center of the old city, just 2 blocks away from the cathedral and a few minutes walk from the Malecon (closed for reconstruction). Friendly staff. The breakfast box (early departures) is poor, very poor : a juice, an apple and a soggy sandwich.
Rooms are rather small but very clean.
Too bad the windows don't open.

The best part of this hotel is the staff. They are very nice and willing to help you with whatever you need. They are covered by health insurance so if you get sick a doctor can come even for foreigners. Cleaning ladies really nice and helpful,

Breakfast was ok. Not really any options if you are vegan or can’t eat eggs.

Rooms are extremely small with no windows. If you are a couple, you need to ask to be put in a room with a double bed or they will put you in a “two person room”with two singles with absolutely no room for suitcases.

Hot water and AC in all rooms. Nice deck to look down on the market. Rooms are clean.

It’s a step up from a hostel but not what I would consider a “nice” hotel. Walls are extremely thin and you can hear everything outside or in other rooms. And it’s just odd that there are no windows or air flow in the rooms. The only thing that would make me want to return was the staff. But besides that, to be honest, I would stay somewhere else.

A couple negatives....there were many, many (probably about 30) small flying insects in the room when I checked in. There were not mosquitos that bite, or I would've complained and asked to move rooms. I thought it was very strange though, since the room had no openings to the outside. I spent about 15 minutes swatting most of them. For a hotel of this quality I would think that someone at the front desk would speak English, but I guess not. I'm not upset about that since it is their country and Spanish is the language spoken here, but was just surprised. Made it a little more challenging for me with my limited Spanish.
A big positive, our bus to take us to our next place showed up a little early and we were trying to get the free breakfast in prior to departing. They realized we had to run and so they packed our breakfast to go and the bellhop even ran it out to our bus right as we were about to depart. 5 stars for that service!

The room was clean, had a writing desk and hanging space for clothes. TV and wifi. Shower water was cold but when requested was fixed with hot water.
Breakfast was included. I am not a spanish speaker but use google translate and my broken spanish sentences. The girl didn't speak any English and that's OK but she treated me like I was a foreigner walk in that she wanted nothing to do with. I asked for the menu. She said there wasn't one. She told me thru translate eggs 3 ways that's it. I asked for fruits juice and toast available only because I saw others had this. That night I went to reception to ask if menu they said yes. As I was staying a few days and doing day tours I wanted to enjoy a breakfast before leaving. Next morning with her sour attitude she again approached and spoke in spanish. This time annoyed I said you know I don't speak spanish and I'm not doing this again. A guy Came and told me options change each day. I explained I didn't get the options I saw of others and only got what she offered and the fruit I saw. I ended up with same breakfast. For this reason I cannot recommend this hotel. They need a menu. Then you know what's available. I can read spanish better than I speak. Relying on a sour unfriendly and unhelpful girl is not an option I choose. For this I don't recommend as foreign traveller.

Fantastic service, rooms were not large but very comfortable with a mini fridge, tv, ac, great wifi and modern bathroom + furniture. Staff were excellent. You cannot beat what you get for the price here. The location is excellent, blocks from the beach, blocks from parque de los novios where you can find the best restaurants in centro.

Don't think twice about this hotel if you are seeking a clean, quiet and modern place as opposed to the hostels.

The initial presentation of the hotel makes it feel new and modern. Rooms are very small, somewhat clean. Located in very loud area. NO HOT WATER. Laundry service was sub-par and expensive. Staying at a local hostel would have been a better choice. Free breakfast was good, avoid the dry burnt sausage/hotdog.

Booked this hotel as I needed to recuperate after being unwell and travelling further up the coast. Just wanted a nice room with a fridge to keep water cold and a pool to cool off. The booking said this hotel/room had all of the above but it was a huge disappointment. The pool was closed for maintenance, there was no minibar in the room and the room was tiny and not particularly clean. No toiletries in the bathroom as advertised. I went to reception to complain and they told me I could take water from the fridge in reception. I explained it wasn’t the point and I wanted a refund and to move to a different hotel. Got a refund of 220,000 of 299,000 pesos - was only there for about two hours whilst I looked on my phone for another hotel! Do not recommend unless you just want a bed in a good location.

Location was good, and that is it!
The staff is very unprofessional and purely trained. We had an issue with laundry service. They were late with delivery, so I went to check with the reception. They spoke no English and my Spanish is terrible, so it was easier for me to talk to them face to face. They didn't have an idea where my clothes were as they didn't label it properly. So at the end, we had a security guy in the laundry room, showing piece by piece to the security camera. And I was on the reception, saying Si and No. We also had 2 reception girls giggling like crazy. Then, the manager came, furious because off the situation. She wasn't happy how the staff was dealing with the situation. So, she took me to the laundry room, packed my things and sincerely apologised and din't charged me for the service as the part of the apology. She was super professional and I hope she will manage to bring some order to that place.

Rooms are quite old and way less shining and sparkling then on photos. And we had a terrible neighbours (very loud and noisy) and walls are too thin. We can hear them like they were in our room.

Internet was terrible on the 4th floor.
Definitely overpriced.

Rooms have AC, a TV, free wifi and breakfast, and is centrally located within the city. We took a taxi every day to Taganga (for 10,000 COP) or walked over to Parque de Los Novios for dinner and drinks.

A good value for the price but do not expect good customer service or extra amenities.

New hotel, in the center of the city, very close to main commerce roads, san andrecito, restaurants and the sea front.
Small but comfortable rooms, with aircon, wifi, tv and fridge.
Nice and helpful staff, good breakfast.
