I spent 3 nights at the Pangolin Chobe Hotel, we really had a great time ! The rooms are neat and clean with good Wifi, the meals were tasty and delicious and the staff were friendly and helpful, everything needed for a comfortable stay. The Pangolin Photo boats are the perfect way to explore the Chobe river in the Chobe National Park, 8 seats each with their own Swivel seat and Gimbal setup, our boatmen Matt was skilled and got us into good photographic positions while dealing with strong winds. During our stay we were joined by Jaco and Danielle, both photo guides from Pangolin, we enjoyed our time with both guides and enjoyed their insights and photo tips and teaching while out on the boat. I can highly recommend Pangolin Chobe Hotel and the photography from the Boat, a must do if you are in Kasane !

We have just spent two glorious weeks with the Pangolin Photo Safaris team at their really cool hotel in Kasane, on their photo boats on the Chobe River, and on their game drive vehicles in the Chobe Game Reserve. Guts, Toby and the team have thought of everything to make this an amazing photo-op destination. Lots of charging points in your room, lots of table surface on which to work, so everything is easy and un-cramped. The bed was awesome, and the solar showers made it really, really comfortable. I just loved Gut's style for the exposed plumbing... Only Guts would come up with that ingenious touch! The food also lives up to this "Gold Standard", by "Robson is still my name", the hilarious chef, ably supported by his "Broken glass mechanics" who miraculously fix all leaking glasses. :-p While we know the Chobe really well, the Pangolin team take this to another level of sheer excellence. For photographers it was "end-to-end action" all the way,,, I captured more than 18,700 images in 14 days! Editing my pics, the content has been in another league... Man, I enjoyed that place, the team and it now has to rank as one of the very top photo destinations in Sub-Saharan Africa!. Great job guys. So proud of you all!

We spent 2 weeks at Pangolin Chobe Hotel at the end of August 2021. It was everything we expected and a whole lot more. The photographic guides, boat guides and housekeeping all added up to an unforgettable experience. The Covid protocol made you feel safe. The rooms are all prefect (and deliver with photographers in mind) so no preference there. The food was fabulous. And last, but not least, Chobe never fails to deliver amazing photo opportunities, and the photographic guides help you to get that perfect shot.

Service perfect. The rooms are perfect - beautiful and all the plugs you could wish for to charge camera batteries and phones etc. The food was incredible, flavour, presentation, and of course the chef and staff who made the meals become and experience. Boat photographic safari's amazing - not just the water but also the staff. A memorable experience to treasure.
