PROS: - About as cheap a room as you'll find anywhere these days - Clean - Good bathroom with high shower water pressure - Still had vacancies very late at night (I had no reservation), and owner came to desk within seconds of my arriving at desk CONS: - Thermostat on A/C unit was limited to 66 F, with no manual/always on mode, so the unit kept shutting off without keeping the room comfortably cool (probably low-mid 70s F across the room where the bed is). I lost hours of sleep due to the stuffiness. - Still has smoking rooms, and I was accidentally given one initially (but owner was quick to make it right when I returned to front desk) - Very small/cramped parking lot - just have to hope no one else is coming, going, or moving when you are! I wanted to give this place 5* for being such a great value and accommodating me after midnight in an emergency, but the A/C issue robbed me of half a night's sleep. If you're planning a stay during the summer and like to sleep cold, I'd look elsewhere... but otherwise, this is the quintessential place to sleep for 8 hours on the cheap.…
Older motel but exceptionally well maintained. Super clean, cute rooms, very very nice management, and super good price. Easy to miss but worth turning around for :) Totally surprised me but would stay here any time I am in this area!
Nice and quiet. A cute older motel. One of the cleanest places I’ve ever stayed. Kind owners and very affordable! We will be staying here again! I would definitely recommend this place. No breakfast but lots of places around to try.
Lodging in western Nebraska is difficult to find. This is an older family run motel. The room was IMMACULATE. Don’t be afraid of it. And for the price...$50 total for 1 bed, $65 for 2! You can’t beat it!
On a family road trip - booked ahead of time and were not disappointed. We had 3 rooms: Room 23 had a kitchenette and queen bed, Room 15 had 2 queens and was a bit older looking inside. Room 21 has a queen and the only draw back was the curtains didn't close completely. The beds were very comfortable and there were excellent towels and a good shower. All rooms had a refrigerator and microwave. For the money it was an excellent value and the reservations was in order and we had no issues. We enjoyed our night here.
