When I was planning my weekend trip to EXPO2020, I wished to skip paying extra money for 4-5*, so the chose fell on the 3+* hotel and, honestly, the expectations weren’t that high. However, I was pleasantly surprised upon my arrival at Ibis Styles Dubai Jumeira! The first thing that caught my eye was my spacious city view room with lots of air, clean, cozy and comfy, with shower essentials (shampoo, body wash), towels and a tea / coffee tray with drinking water (renewed daily). Really nice!
Special thanks to the restaurant staff Dean Mark and Jamal for making the stay special. My reservation included both breakfast and supper which was quite convenient. The variety and quality of food is up to the mark (of course unless your expectations are way too high for a 3+* hotel). Much healthy food in store! Vegetables, cream soups, at least 7 varieties so you might find what you like. I went for vegetables and fish and was 100% satisfied. Simple yet sufficient. The staff are attentive and responsive, always at your service asking you how you’re doing and if you need anything, which is a glorious bonus. The only thing you have to consider is don’t leave your visit to breakfast till the last hour as with lots of guests you might have to wait for some time to get a spare table (the restaurant houses not too many people simultaneously), but the staff try their best to make the queuing pass as quickly as possible for you. So the best breakfast hours for me were around 8/8:30.
Pity with my intense EXPO program I didn’t get the chance to have a swim in the hotel pool and visit the spa, so can’t throw light upon these facilities.
As to the transportation, a bus stop is almost next to the hotel. You can also use metro, but in case you walk on foot, you might spend approximately 30 minutes walking (at least that’s the time I required walking on foot from Max station). Anyway, you can always catch a cab or order a hotel transfer which I did on the first day to reach the EXPO.
All in all I enjoyed my stay and would certainly recommend the hotel! Worth its price. Thank you for your hospitality!

The hotel was excellent with it’s service. From the first day, we were greeted by the very warm and hospitable manager Isabella who made sure that we settled into our rooms and the city comfortably. The highlight for my family and I was the daily breakfast, which comes with many rich options for everyone’s taste.
I would highly recommend this hotel for families who want a comfortable place to rest their heads at night, without hurting their wallets too much.

I arrived at the hotel at 12.15am after a 15 minutes drive from the airport which cost AED 52. The hotel is next to the Mercure Gold where I'd stayed on my last visit. Mercure is supposed to be better than Ibis Styles but in this case, the Ibis Styles Jumeira was far better.
From the hotel photos I got the impression that the hotel was on the beach but the photo with the water is from a nearby fountain.
A friendly girl at reception called Joyce told me she had upgraded me to a suite as I'm a Platinum member of the Accor loyalty programme which is probably the best one on the market.
There was laminate flooring in the living room and carpet on the floor of the large bedroom. There were 2 bottles of water. The bathroom was off the bedroom with a cupboard area between them, it was very well laid out.
I called housekeeping to get an extra sheet as I'm too hot sleeping under the duvet and a housekeeper called Radley from Goa arrived promptly. I then realized I wanted an extra pillow so he went off to get that and came back quickly.
There's a small indoor pool and a decent 24hr gym with Life Fitness equipment on the ground floor.
Breakfast was fine, just missed having some cheese slices for my toast and the breakfast buffet could be improved. The waiters served everything and were all really friendly and helpful. I ordered an omelette at the egg station and a waiter brought it to my table.
I was quite impressed with the hotel overall and would definitely stay again.

The polite staff quickly solves problems and answers questions. There is a lot of delicious and satisfying food, there is a choice and variability. This hotel doesn't deserve to be a 3 stars Hotel. Very long check-in, promising you rooms and givung you something else..
Horrible breakfast Bad restaurant Very dirty (see pictures), in addition to the humidity smell. Charging everything, even a pillow, yes a pillow !! For a suite they offering two flat pillows (see pics), and when you ask for just one more, they said you need to pay or you need to bring yours !!??
Having been in many hotels in dubai of different categories, this is the first time of my life I have seen this !!
For the sane price you can book at ramada or khoury, much much better..

The next day we bought silver travel cards and went to Kite Beach (30 minutes from the hotel on bus 8), the beach there is gorgeous, the water is clean, clear and warm. Sunbeds on the beach cost a lot of money, and there is no one there, take an umbrella with you, you can sunbathe until 12.00 at the latest, and then the heat begins! In general, we went to the beach only once a day (tiring), after 17.00 we went to interesting and beautiful places on our own, we didn’t want to splash in a puddle, the vacation turned out to be 3-star!

I booked online a double suite with a living room in this hotel on 17th june to celebrate a friend’s birthday but end up with bad memories. Honestly speaking building was nice, room was quite spacious, neat & clean but the thing which really spoiled our stay was staff behavior. Reception and room service staff were extremely rude. They didn’t pay attention to any requests. Not much facilities in the room. Even they don’t provide glasses & rest all everything like extra blanket, toothpaste, toothbrush, towel, pillow, slippers is charged and rate list is available inside the wash room Swimming pool is too small as well
