From the moment of arrival in the early morning to departure the following day I sensed the Four Seasons has taken the opportunity, due to the recent health crisis, to reposition itself in a positive way.

Its not an original thought but the last twelve months has seen, out of necessity, a speeding up of all sorts of techniques and approaches in all walks of life and hospitality that will thrive going forward is pursuing the same approach.

On line check in, fast track in and out and one stop contact all make huge sense right now but they also add to the experience of offering discrete service in a calm uncluttered way. No one wants to queue for a busy reception at any time and through put is now everything. If something else is required, any modest delay is expected, it is sent to the room.

I dined at Sea Fu, the food was excellent (very well sourced) the wine perfect and the staff attentive and of course the lay out which maintained space between tables provided for a more discrete and calm experience. These decisions and changes are win win.

I have always felty uneasy at buffet style breakfasts because of the open layout. That is now a thing of the past. Its one touch, the chefs, who offers your choice from behind a screen bravo!

All of the staff whether in the gym, the pool, followed simple protocols a temperature check a vicinity cordon for equipment and each room has its own Yoga mat. The staff all wear masks but equally important gloves. The great advantage of gloves is they prevent the wearer from touching their face so IF transmission occurs on high touch surfaces the gloves will cut the supply chain to the face.

The deft application of procedures only add to the sense that the Four Seasons is a highly professional unfussy brand which offers a quality experience. One of the most impressive qualities is all the staff have a real skill at developing a relationship quickly your remain a stranger for mere fleeting seconds. As this visit was rather short that quality was of particular value and much appreciated.

Given the well drilled staff who were entirely certain of what to do I had every confidence in the beautiful room which gave me a view of the Burj from the terrace.

Going forward confidence is going to be key. I am confident in the Four Seasons and in returning and to an enhanced experience which mines the important tenants of good hospitality even more effectively.

This was the 4th hotel in 4 nights during my most recent visit to Dubai. Other hotels I stayed at on this trip were Bulgari, Armani and the Palace Downtown. So how does this compare? it's located very near the Bulgari, has at least twice as many rooms, and offers more food choices. It has the best gym of the four. It has an indoor pool (only the Bulgari does as well), and a spa. Unlike the Bulgari that closes at 11, the spa facilities and indoor pool at this hotel close at 10 and 9 respectively, and you have to make a reservation to use the steam room (which was silly since it was empty when I went there anyway). That's a big deal for me because the NY flight to Dubai lands close to 8pm and I want facilities to be open till 11 and hassle free to use. I don't know that this would be my first choice of property upon arrival in the evening from a long flight.
Breakfast buffet and poolside lunch were excellent; dinner at the rooftop Italian restaurant was also excellent and the decor of that place was cool and I hear it is updated yearly. Concierge service here is very good. Where this place excelled was at the pool and beach; the staff really take good care of you here, more than usual. And if you swim out to the pontoon about 50 meters offshore, there will be bottled water there. Here they will give you sunscreen. At the Bulgari, at the pool and beach none of the above were true.
The location is not so convenient relative to various attractions near city center but it is easy to get in and out of this place and you avoid the hustle and bustle of downtown. My oceanview premiere room with a terrace had nice pool views as well, was spacious and had a nice bathroom. Bathroom amenities were the same as other Four Seasons hotels in the USA. I was pleasantly surprised to see a big box of dates on my desk at arrival. I asked for a newspaper and they printed out a full sized NY Times.
Just one caution -- who ever thought they would dredge up some land in the gulf water and start building something over there? At some point, this place might lose its view and it will be interesting to see what happens. But right now, it's all fine and this is certainly an excellent hotel. Go to Bulgari if you want more exclusivity, more convenience for an evening arrival, and an authentic Italian feel for food and ambience rather than Four Seasons room chic; come here if you want a larger hotel and better pool and beach service. Otherwise, it's a close call between the two.

We had a great and relaxing stay at Four Seasons Dubai. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating.

We were very happy with communications we could could have with staff via the messaging app. In addition to this (small but certainly deserves a mention) we had forgotten to bring our large toothpaste and had been using the small packet from our airline. The house keeping noticed this and placed a new, large toothpaste in our room alongside a hand written note. Thank you!

I was slightly concerned as I'd read a few reviews prior to our stay that had mentioned loud, club style music from Nammos next door ruining the tranquillity of the resort. However this was not the case at all! We spent most of our time around the adult pool and couldn't hear a thing. Later on in the day on the beach, it is possible to hear the music, but it wasn't too imposing and I didn't find it offensive. (And I like peace and quiet!)

All in all a lovely stay and we would certainly come back.

Thank you Four Seasons Dubai.

We stayed at several Four Seasons resorts such as Chiang Mai, Langkawi, Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat and Marrakech and the one from Dubai at Jumeirah Beach is not at the same level at all.

While in other Four Seasons properties you are Mr or Ms X, here you are a room number as you always have to mention your room number before enjoying any services. In other Four Seasons, they call you by your name so they already know what you need before asking. And you can imagine that this makes a huge different through your entire stay. The resort is too big and there is no notion of exclusivity and no attention to details. Sometimes you even feel you’re at a Club Med. And we have so many examples in mind when it comes to differences with the other Four Seasons we stayed in as everything is connected.

Guests should also know that the official pictures of the beach they see are a lie because they are old. The beach is awful, with constructions on each side and even in front of it with many cars moving on the artificial island. Oh and there is now NAMMOS beach club right next to the spa which means you have cheap and loud music during your stay at Four Seasons Dubai.

I’m sorry for the few involved people delivering good service in this resort such as the housekeepers we met during our stay but this hotel is far below expectations. I would not complain if I would have paid for a non Four Seasons place but prices here are ridiculously high. Next time we stay in Dubai we’ll definitely try another resort such as Mandarin, One&Only or Atlantis.

As I like leaving honest advises, I have to admit that the food at the resort is good especially the Folia vegan dishes that are very delicate and tasteful, the Indian food (and naan bread) and the breakfast at SUQ, the Black Cod at Sea Fu and the moutabel and hot chocolate at Shai.

My girlfriend and I enjoyed our three night stay at this hotel. It is a beautiful building and the property is quite pleasing. We had a Cityview room and the view of the skyline was excellent. We got a real sense of Dubai even before we travelled to downtown. X paragraph the room is spacious and very well appointed. House cleaning was always on time and done early.

The fitness center was excellent, and that’s important to us. Also the restaurants, and especially the breakfast buffet, were terrific. The concierge staff recommended great restaurants that were tailored to our tastes.

The single flaw is at the beach. Unfortunately for this hotel, a nightclub has moved next-door and their hours start in the afternoon and go into the evening. Their loud, boom boom noise, definitely interferes with the enjoyment of the beach and some of the pool. To compensate we got chairs as far away as possible on the beach and of course we had our headphones, but it’s very unfortunate that this exists.

Still, this is definitely a five star rating!

We booked the four seasons Jumeirah for four nights during Eid break.
Check-in was great, they provided sanitising kit with handgel and wet wipes and masks (corona times).
The room is really big with an amazing sea view.
The bed pillows are not comfortable, a bit flat.

The breakfast experience was really bad and not a nice way to start the day. Due to the covid-19 situation, it was an a la carte breakfast. 15 minutes to get the attention of someone from the wait staff to take your order. Food took up to an hour to get to the table. Members from the staff were running all over the place but no real organization behind what they were trying to do.
The worst part is that when you ask for a status of the breakfast, you can’t really get one.
Even the coffee and a hot water pot took on average 40 min every morning to get to the table.
Honestly a big fat zero for the breakfast experience

Again a great stay at the Beach front hotel. Only 15 minutes from the airport and from the Emirates Mall makes it very convient. Even better are the nearby Restaurants Coya (Peruvian) and Nusr et Dubai (gold steak Ribéry and Sancho #7 😂). Of course also the beach restaurant is nice. Also next door the new Beach Club Nammos of Mykonos. The hotel has two Pools one with and one without kids both equally great. Jetskis and boat rental at the beach, great sky bar, cigar lounge... Large rooms of course sea view is nicer and much more expensive only necessary for extended stays and room stayer. The breakfast is world class.

I arrived in the Four Seasons on the 4th of August. Within 24 hours every member of staff knew my name, I was made to feel welcome like in no other hotel I have been to, including numerous other branches of Four Seasons I have stayed at around the world.

This was first noticeable from the reception staff, including the concierge team but soon extended to the pool staff, kitchen team, food service, bar staff and even at the gym. I found this extra impressive considering 90% of our interactions occurred with everybody wearing face masks.

The room service food was amazing with a special mention to the Indian food available. The team always delivered the food with a smile.

The hotel was well run and extremely clean with all COVID measures taken extremely seriously including access to new masks, hand sanitiser available everywhere, spacing at the pool and regular cleaning.

At the end of my trip I was introduced to the resort manager Cornelia Mitlmeier who was very nice and helpful.

I would like to pay a special thank you to the following members of the four Seasons team for a great stay. Ramia, Cashmere, Mahamoud Zalci, Maiteo, Peter, Naziya, Nina, Andrii, Melina, Oshika, Lisa and Harmony.

Attention to detail obvious and appreciated. Two examples. As you can imagine, someone stops by to tidy up a few times a day. After one of these visits, I arrived back to my room where I saw a hand-written note. Next to the note was a book mark. The hotel attendant noticed I was reading a book and using a napkin as a book mark. The note shared his observation. The next example occurred when a rectangular art in a frame (18cm x 30cm). I asked the front desk where I could find some tape and wrap so that I could pack it back with me safely on the plane to Texas. A hotel attendant arrived at my door with tape, scissors, and bubble wrap. He wouldn't leave these items. Instead, we worked together to wrap the art with bubble wrap.
My fruit bowl was refilled every day. Excellent smells in the hallways. I did lap swims near the buoys on the beach. Stayed at this hotel because of a conference I was attending. Unforgettable experience. Look forward to next time.

The FS Resort Dubai is one of the best (if not THE best) resorts in Dubai at the moment. Though there are elements which damage its reputation in my opinion.

Their beach view is currently unobstructed but this can always change as you never know what will be built in the ocean in Dubai. Pools are great and so are the landscaped gardens. Rooms are large and modern classic like you would expect from the FS brand. Breakfast is very varied and caters to all your wishes from sweet to savoury and everything in between and beyond. We did request a room change which was granted as we were on a lower floor above the staff entrance and car park which brought with it some excessive noise. The room we got after was nice and quiet.

Unfortunately there are some downsides to this resort and that has to do with the clientele that visits the resort. The FS Resort Dubai attracts quite a lot of people who visit the rooftop bar. They can be loud, obnoxious and very pretentious. In order to lessen this, the resort has implemented a minimum spent which is quite unfair to already paying guests. Another problem is that it’s difficult to find a spot there while being a paid guest. There seem to be a lot of women of the late hour which attracts the wrong crowd. If you look at the tagged pictures of this resort on Social media, you will instantly see what i mean.

To me this is a problem and changes the standards of which the Four Season brand is known for. It used to be a family brand known for it’s sophistication, class and exclusivity for those looking for quietness or a luxury family vacation. While the paid guests are mostly quiet people and families, the visitors are the opposite. The rooftop bar turns this hotel into a tacky nightlife destination and you will run into these people taking pictures or vlogging throughout the hotel, pretending to stay there. The above is what drags this hotel down from an amazing resort to an OK resort. Considering the price you pay for staying here and the standard you expect to find, the brand should really consider doing something about this in order to provide their guests the exclusiveness they paid for and what the Four Seasons is supposed to stand for. If they do this, the resort will hands down be the best resort in Dubai.

Totally! Our son was about 18 months at the time and I went to the kids club with him just to play with the toys and on the outdoor playground. The teachers are lovely (even though it seems like they‘re not too used to parents who accompany their kids and don‘t just drop them off😅) and it was totally fine to stay there with them, but I guess that depends on potential covid restrictions now?!
