Nestled on the Palm, the Marriott Resort Palm Jumeirah, Dubai, delights many with its pristine cleanliness and well-kept facilities. The hotel's location is mostly celebrated for its easy access to local beaches and attractions, though some guests note the occasional noise. The variety of dining options and excellent service complement the hotel's coveted amenities, including beach access, but the pool's size has been a point of contention.
Spacious and clean, the rooms provide comfort, despite isolated complaints about dampness and noise. The service earns high marks for its professionalism, although experiences may vary. Guests enjoy the inviting atmosphere, replete with live music and elegant decor, yet opinions on value diverge when additional costs and potential overcrowding come into play.

Detailed Reviews
We arrived at the hotel about 9:30pm. The Taxi pulled up and our car door was opened by the friendly valet staff & are cases where wheeled into the Lobby. check-in was straightforward after receiving our key we went up to our room & our luggage duly followed. We had a lovely room 557 facing the gardens/pool & sea. The balcony was also quite spacious with a table & 2 chairs. And to welcome us in the room where some colourful chocolates & 3 apples.
The room was very spacious a fabulous King bed, loads of storage the bathroom was also spacious with a big separate shower plus a separate bath. Slippers & Bathrobes are supplied too. You don’t need to bring shampoo&conditioner & shower as this is supplied too & if you forget your toothbrush these are in the room too.
The heat & humidity in August is high, so if you are planning to sit by the pool & private beach there are plenty of sun-beds with parasols & cabana’s which you will need. The beach is quieter at this time of year but the pool can get quite busy especially at the weekends y
The staff around the beach & pool are friendly & will bring you water in ice buckets or whatever you want. The sea is warm but the pool is very refreshing with a lovely swim up bar.
The hotel as a number of restaurants including Leventera, Myami which is on the beach, the Wagyu burgers there are lovely. We also had use of the M Club room which is handy for Breakfast & has a good choice. Especially over the weekend when the queues for Breakfast can get quite long at Leventara.
The only real negative was when we purchased a couple of drinks from the beach bar Magners. The menu said the price was 42 AED. But on our receipt it said 55AED When we queried this they said the price on the menu for some items where wrong & said the menu was to be updated. Although the menu was not changed all week. The price at the pool bar matched what was on the menu which was exactly the same as the Beach bar. All I ask is why?
We where Half-board, but which we had dine around, as it what nice to go to other eateries,
Places we recommend visiting are the Burj Khalifa, the Shopping mall below & the fountains show which is outside & is amazing.
The Aura Sky Pool the tallest 360 infinity pool in the world. It has great views of Dubai & the Palm. Quality.
The Dhow & Anchor at Jumerah Beach hotel. It is just like a nice Gastro pub from the Uk which shows sports it has a great menu but I recommend the Fish & Chips which are amazing and they do the most amazing sticky toffee pudding.
We also went Le Royal Meridian Hotel for a Mexican which was also quality.
Dubai is an amazing place & we hope to go back next year as there are so many places we would still like to visit & would definitely consider coming back to the Marriott.

We had the pleasure of staying at this hotel in March 2024,
Myself and my family have been staying in Dubai for almost 10 years now,
And we have seen over the years just how much Dubai has developed,
It was nice to be back on the trunk of the palm
An area we are quite familiar with,
And an area that we can see has developed much more now,
The back of the hotel backs directly onto a promenade,
It was lovely to have stroll up and down the promenade the hotel also offers bicycle higher this is complementary for additional hours. I believe there is a fee,
We hired bicycles and rode them up and down the promenade. It was lovely to take the views And the children enjoyed it,
The hotel is gorgeous,
With a welcoming large lobby area,
Our room was beautifully clean and spacious,
We stayed half board with children on all inclusive,
This included a children’s food menu and juices and soft drinks,
This came in really handy and allowed for the children to drink throughout the day.
Sun lounges were really comfortable,
And plentiful around the pool,
We were there over the Easter break,
But didn’t find the hotel overly busy which was nice,
Staff were fantastic as always,
They couldn’t do enough for us,
Food in all the outlets were incredible,
Buffets offering a huge variety.
We also ate in the Italian speciality cucina ,
Staying half board you get a credit to use here and just make up any difference,
we travel with a child with a serious food allergy and staff both here and within the hotel were amazing and extremely attentive,
Ensuring he was well cared for and taking note of his allergy,
Preparing his food separately and ensuring his safety,
Something which we are extremely grateful for .
That kind of care of the upmost importance .
We had a lovely stay at the Marriott Palm Jumeirah and look forward to returning again .

Wow, we have been back one week from our trip to Dubai and I have been trying to formulate what to say. We cannot recommend this resort enough. The facilities are beautiful but it is the people that make it memorable. When we first arrived, Ethan opened the door to our car and made us feel like we were long lost friends coming to visit. He made sure to talk to us when he saw us. Then Aravind at check-in made it seamless and was so helpful. He was so nice and welcoming. Lucille, in guest relations gave us our welcome drink and a nice cool towel. She was amazing also. I had mentioned to Aravind and my husband mentioned to Lucille that it was my birthday. They made sure that I was surprised in our room with a cake, fruit, truffles, balloons, handwritten notes, and a towel cake and animals. It was so special.
Erika, Pamela, and Noemi in the Lobby Lounge made us feel so special and like family. We really enjoyed talking to them in the mornings and evenings. Alice and Ronnie, at the pool, were also welcoming and made us feel so special. They always came up to us to say hi and to make sure that there was nothing that we needed. Rayhan, Amit, and Nthabi on the beach were the same. Always, came up and said hi, remembered what we ordered, and made us feel like family.
Everyone remembered our names. Even those that we were just meeting knew our names. When we had to leave, Ethan, Muhammad (from night shift security), and Das, again, made us feel like we were dear friends leaving after a week of visiting.
My husband and I cannot recommend Marriott Resort Palm Jumeriah enough. The location was fabulous. The views were amazing. Dubai is an experience all its own, that everyone should experience. But it was the staff that truly made this trip so special and amazing. We will definitely be back to visit our new family and friends!

Firstly this is a nice new hotel in a great location. However it has some downsides to address first.
Firstly we moved rooms twice because the elevators were so loud. For some reason the lifts make a loud beeping noise when they reach a floor and that happens all night. There are a lot of lifts in the hotel so rooms always appear close enough to them for sleep to be disturbed. It is a busy hotel with people coming and going so the lifts are very active. It really affected our sleep quality and often woke the children.
Given the hotel is new, there were a number of broken and lifted tiles around the pool which could be unsafe for kids running around. The lifeguards were often seen on their phones too rather than being vigilant to swimmers.
The restaurant food quality was good, but service exceptionally slow. We stayed half board and received a food allowance of 150aed per person per meal. This wasn’t very generous and we were usually left with a bill to pay on top of this even though we were eating very modestly- sometimes and extra few hundred aed to pay. I think a much fairer contribution would be 200aed per person.
Buffet restaurant - for meals in the buffet the food quality was very good, but again service very poor. The staff failed to clear plates and overall service was poor and slow.
I think if the half/full board allocation is addressed and the service levels improved then this would be a good Dubai hotel option. Also the noise for the elevators needs removing. My worry is in a few years after some wear and tear this may become a very average hotel.
Location is very good with access to other bars outside and being on the trunk of the palm it is easy to get on and off.
Small changes would make a big improvement to the quality of out stay.

We stayed at this hotel for 6 nights...the hotel is superb!
We received warm welcomes at the check-in desk (Bonvoy members) and the friendliness and attentive of the staff was maintained throughout our stay, through the complex facilities from security to the lifeguards to the cleaners, everyone.
The rooms are a high spec and cleaned to a high standard.
The beach and pool areas were lovely (pool could get a little busy but there were always free loungers on the beach which was our preferred location anyway). There are always people coming and going so you wouldn't have to wait long for some to become free. Location of the beach means a nice gentle breeze, very welcoming in the Dubai heat! Sea was warm as you would expect!
We only ate in the buffet restaurant. Quality of food was great. My only recommendation is food to be clearer marked for allergens, but staff were helpful when we needed to check.
The gym was great - fantastic and modern equipment. There are also showers and sauna in the changing rooms.
We really cannot fault this hotel. We usually stay at another hotel on The Palm that is part of the Marriott group, which has always been our favourite...but now we have a new favourite...Marriott Resort!! 😁
We have already booked a return holiday to this hotel, so will see you again in a few months!! Counting down already!

Nice hotel, everything new.
Some great staff, they really want to help and try their best. Some are outstanding, some still learning.
thankyou Ruben on reception for helping us with check in and a room move. You are so efficient and nothing too much of a problem.
Thankyou Zoey for being your cheery self everyday in the buffet and getting our hot coffees!
The buffet had a good selection
Breakfast til 11am everyday…brilliant
The pool only has around 100 sun lounger spaces so good luck getting one otherwise there are plenty on the beach
Rooms are good sizes, showers are massive and have ‘This Works’ shampoo/conditioner/shower gel in full sizes. Nice views from sea view rooms and a great pedestrian footpath along the beachfront
Nakheel mall within walking distance

Just returned from a 10 night stay, the hotel was in a great location on the palm jumeirah close to shops and next to the sea.
Recently opened in mid December, we stayed in a palm sea view King room which was very spacious emaculately clean and comfortable bed.
Breakfast and evening dinning food was fantastic and plenty of variety to choose from, all hotel staff was so friendly, welcoming and special thanks to Ravindu who served us cold beers at the pool bar.
A fantastic holiday and will definitely stay again.

The Marriott is a modern hotel with beautiful furniture and decorations in the entrance area and the restaurants. The rooms are also furnished to a high standard with a sofa, desk chair and leather recliner. The bed also has a comfortable mattress. The air conditioning works perfectly and is extremely quiet. The floor-to-ceiling windows and balcony doors ensure that no noise from outside disturbs the peace and quiet thanks to appropriate glazing.
The pool is huge and cooled to the optimal water temperature. Loungers and daybeds are provided with thick cushions. The covered children's pool with play equipment and an indoor playground is suitable for small children.
The modern Levantera restaurant offers a gigantic selection of the finest dishes for breakfast and dinner and a special children's buffet. The quality of the food and, above all, the fine taste with perfectly coordinated spices are an absolute highlight. For breakfast there is also freshly squeezed orange juice and even protein shakes in all flavors.
The staff in the restaurant are incredibly attentive and nice. Always friendly, in a good mood and with a smile on their face. You are accompanied to your table and the drinks are served within a few minutes. Empty plates are cleared away immediately and you are always asked if you have any special requests. You immediately feel like you are being looked after lovingly and not as anonymous as in other hotels. The staff can anticipate your every wish. I would like to name a few names, but that would be unfair to everyone else who has made such an effort.
Thanks again to the whole team!
We can recommend the hotel without reservation!

Philipp and Jutta

We’ve just spent 5 nights at this wonderful hotel on our way home from the Maldives.
The hotel is only approximately 18 months old and feels so clean, spacious and luxurious when you enter. Furniture is high quality and beds are really comfortable.
Great location on the beach, on the palm with incredible views of a marina and city.
We had a great welcome (wish I had taken the gentleman’s name) with the gentleman taking time to make sure we were happy with our room and providing payable upgrade options. We were in an executive suite which was stunning! Absolutely amazing views and access to M Club where you can go for breakfast, snacks and drinks.
Breakfast at both the main buffet and the M Club were fantastic, great quality and choice. Lovely staff and seamless service, even when it’s busy between 9-10am.
Lots of sunbeds available at the pool area or on the beach, with plenty of shade.
Can be noisy in the evenings due to a beach club nearby but it is a central location so to be expected and when doors closed the sound is muted and didn’t stop us sleeping.
We visited Smoki Moto, a Korean Grill restaurant and Senor Pico, the Mexican restaurant on the beach.
Smoki Moto has an amazing restaurant, food was delicious. Only point would be to have the cooking process explained a bit slower and clearer as it’s interesting but we felt we missed some detail.
Senor Pico had lovely staff, so welcoming and friendly. A relaxing vibe and we wish we could have spent more evenings sat in their comfortable seating, listening to music and watching the sun going down with one of their cocktails in our hands. Try their Sangria made with tequila!
We think we have found our new favourite hotel in Dubai!

This was my first stay at this hotel and having previously stayed at Lapita and Atlantis I was not sure what to expect.
The hotel is small compared to the likes of Atlantis but that does not mean it is small by any means.
We arrived at 2am and were checked in very quickly and got an explanation of places to eat and amenities.
We had a booked a palm suite and it was huge, the kids had a bedroom and we had a huge bedroom with a balcony on each room with views of the palm.
It was quite possibly the biggest room we have ever had. The room was stocked with copious amounts of bottled water which was complimentary.
The suite also gave us access to M Club which was based on the 14th floor…24 hours to get soft drinks, tea, coffee nuts biscuits etc. this was great especially at 2am.
The M club also had afternoon tea for guests between 2-4pm with access which was lovely, sandwiches, pastries tea coffee and juices. Between 6-8pm they served complimentary drinks, cocktails, mock tails and evening snacks.
The hotel has several restaurants, Levantara is the main buffet place where we ate most often. Plenty of choice and with the half board option water was complimentary. The food was fabulous and breakfast was always a wide choice and the pastries were divine.
The pool was huge and very enjoyable, easy to get a sun-bed and towels and again complimentary water which again was a nice touch.
The pool bar had plentiful drinks to enjoy in the sun.
The biggest thing for me about this hotel was the service, the staff just can not do enough for you. Nothing is too much trouble, nothing is impossible.
They want to move heaven and earth to ensure you get what you want and they do it day in and date out smiling.
A special thank you to the lady from South Africa who on our last night got my kids virgin Pinacolada’s.
We were late and they were not on the menu but that made no difference…a credit to the hotel.
It is the small things they do so well, on the day of checkout the porter got my luggage and asked if needed a taxi. I said yes but will sort when downstairs, once I checked out the porter had sorted a taxi, loaded my luggage and came to inform me all was done.
The question I always ask myself when I leave a hotel is would I come back…and the answer is 100% YES.
This hotel does so many things so well…with the competition in Dubai for hotels being so fierce…this place stands out a country mile on the service the supply…all I can say is I cant wait to come back next year!

Hi Joannaw.
We were with 3 adults in the room. Our room was spacious (corner room) and they had put a separate (movable) bed in our room. Our daughter slept with her mother in the "big" bed and I (as the father) on the extra bed. ;-)
It was fine, no problems encountered.
