Thanks to Neha, Pyho, Viraf, Javen for their hospitality and help. Very clean rooms, excellent breakfast. Good pool. Daily cleaning in the room, bar and terrace on the ground floor very nice, even the outdoor terrace has air conditioning and alcohol can be consumed.

Ours was a family staycation on this Eid al Fitr holidays last week with a great offer encompassing of 3 days half board stay.

The hotel is newly built in the Deira Enrichment Project and could be classified as a business suited hotel than a family oriented one.

The roof top pool is rather small but one which is usually found in the newer hotels; the life guard does an apt job.

Food is average with not many options but suits with the offered package - Friday dinner was much classier with a lot more options served.

Had a bad incident with one of the lady servers where she 'forgot' to send some food for our little one (from the buffet) to our room for 2 consecutive days and after a severe complaint, the Cluster Restaurant Manager - Mr. Suraj Kumar intervened, sorted out the issue and also ensured that our dining was taken care off until the moment we checked out of the hotel.

Apart from this incident, the stay was smooth, had easy access to Dubai due to the location of the hotel and a pleasant Eid outing with my family during the pandemic times.

We stayed at Wyndham Ajman previously thats why we choose the Wyndham Deira as we thought our experiences before will lead us to same result.
I booked for 4rooms on May 10-12 for two nights as we are celebrating the Wedding anniversary of our friends. Upon check in the staff in Front desk is very slow, our first group of friends came at 3:30pm and they managed to enter inside the room at 5:30pm. When i arrived with my other friends at 5:30 i managed to enter in our rooms at 7pm.
There was miscommunication on the payment charges between reservation and front office, however the Receptionist Shreda who assist us instead being apologetic seems doesn’t care. When she was telling the bill price and i said theres might be wrong as i got a price different upon booking. I said if this is the case i rather cancelled our bookings and book in booking.com, she was answering us “NO” i already checked you in and prepare the bill as you said you will pay once you arrived. I said YES i said that, Yes i am here to pay but the price you are telling are different. Instead answering me with solution she immediately re acted that seems that was our fault. After i contacted the reservation finally Toufiq solve everything. Upon giving the receipt of our bill the receptionist not even bother to Apologize.
While entering our room the keys are not working. I had to call again help at thats 2nd time keys not working. I requested for anniversary set up also to surprise our friends who’s celebrating it, but nothing was there even simple letter.
Breakfast: we thought as its buffet it will have complete selection of food. However upon seating they will ask you for selection of eggs only with two sausage on the side & beans.
Pool: The Receptionist down mentioned yesterday that pool was open 7am to 7pm, this morning my friends come and suddenly they will mentioned it open 8:30am, the information they are giving are not the same. On the letter was stated when we double check 8am.
We are happy only the assistance of Toufiq from reservation that was very attentive and try his best to answer all our inquiries and managed to sort it out our bookings. Adel the bellman, Nick from bar who are friendly and Reyniel not sure his name from the housekeeping. Thanks to those staff.

· If you wish to enjoy Dubai, better stay away from this hotel. We reserved a room for our business trip, and thought we caught a good bargain, but it wasn’t even worth a penny.
On our third day at hotel, a bed lamp in our stopped functioning. We had to sleep with the light on. In addition, we couldn’t get hot water in the shower. We came in the morning after and asked the reception to check the issues in our room, and went to work. When we came back late at the night time, we were surprised to find the hotel unfuctioning lamp still not working, and the shower still lack of hot water. We came down to the reception again and asked why the problem wasn’t fixed. The receptionist called the handyman, who took his time to answer the call(already was midnight and we couldn’t get any shower after the long word day). The handyman came to the room, didn’t speak English at all, knocked on the wall twice, took the broken lamp(so we didn’t have enough light) and off he went. We were so tired so we just fell asleep. In the morning we brushed our teeth with cold waters and couldn’t shower before another long day of work. We went to see our clients, came back to the hotel and saw that we still don’t have hot water in the shower at all. Angry and frustrated we went to the reception and asked to cancel the rest of our stay. The receptionist refunded us for the remaining nights and didn’t really thought that our problem were worth any compensation. We asked for a manager to come, then Ahmad came(who claimed he is the manager but obviously didn’t have any communications skills) , started shouting at us, gave us the invoice and told us to go out. Never in my life I felt so worthless, angry and frustrated. I travel a lot, but didn’t ever felt so bad after leaving an hotel.
Didn’t worth the money, didn’t worth the bad feelings and didn’t worth the meeting with Ahmad that just destroyed our time in Dubai.

After a long, night flight from Nairobi to Dubai, It was a great relief to realize that it was short journey from the airport to the hotel, Checking in took about 10mins, I was welcomed by an almost freezing but clean room, to which I quickly took a shower slipped into the cold bed to catch up on much needed sleep.
For some reason after 4 hours of sleep ,I woke up to find that my luggage was yet to be brought to my room, so I had to make a few calls to get that sorted out.

Other than the Luggage mix up, I had a pleasant 10 nights there. The hotel is close to the Gold Souk metro station making it very easy and cheap to commute around dubai.

I chose this hotel because of the good reviews I received.
And I wasn't wrong at all.
Very good accommodation, exceptional food and very good service.
I paid a little more than 800 euros for 5 nights of accommodation with half board - breakfast and dinner.
We were pleasantly surprised every evening by the fact that the menu was specific to a different country: Indian, Arabic, Chinese, we even had a seafood dinner.
Kudos to the chefs - the food was amazing!
Regardless of preference chicken, beef or over everything was delicious!
The towels were changed every day and we received 4 bottles of bottled water in the room every day.
The valet parking service is very practical.
I highly recommend this hotel.
Very good conditions for the price paid!

This was our second choice hotel after the
Mercure Dubai Barsha Heights Hotel Suites cancelled our booking for arriving late.
This hotel is quite new 4 or 5 years old rooms are big and look new very comfortable. The food is really good here we was half board. The restaurant was very busy in the morning but empty at night. The roof top pool was great 14 floor. The views were great. There is works going on outside but it didn't effect us. The hotel is a 5 minute walk to the metro station. We would stay here again.

In Wyndham Dubai Deira you can feel everything is well organized and the guest is the most important one. Rooms are spacious and in line with the description. Comfortable wide bed, big table/desk, big enough fridge, small bottle of drinking water per person delivered every day.
Well maintained heated swimming pool on the roof with towels provided by the service present there all the time. Sometimes it is crowded, but usually you will find available sunbed or comfortable armchair.
Good variety of food available during the breakfast. From omelet, through sausages, potatoes, fresh fruits, sweets, to various kinds of yoghurt.
The same applies to dinners, although they were better around weekend, when the hotel was hosting more guests. During the weekend there are theme dinners, like Indian, Arabic, Sea food, etc.
The location is good having in mind proximity to the DXB airport, Deira souks and metro station in walking distance.
There is WiFi availabe in the rooms, unfortunately it becomes hard to use during the rush hours.
The water temperature was hard to adjust, I hope it only happen in our room and is fixed already.
The windows don't open, I am not sure if it is a standard in the hotels in Dubai. It would be nice to cool down the room during the night, when the temperature outside is below 20 instead of using A/C.
I tried saunas they have there. You may ask "why you need sauna in Dubai" and you would be right, it seems the staff don't pay enough attention to have it well organized and maintained. There is no leisure area, the steam sauna was not working properly, you don't feel it like being in spa.

Dear Tom, Your feedback is important and I thank you taking the time to share your experience from your stay. The entire team is trained to deliver top services at all times. Reference to your remark on WiFi please note that as part of the regulations from the local authorities, VOIP call providing apps are blocked and use of any VPNs hampers the internet speed resulting in the end user being able to get through to the internet. Guest also need to ensure to switch to room WiFi from guest WiFi while in the rooms to avoid slow connectivity. From your remark on the water mix kindly be informed that as the knob in our guestrooms can be turned only one side for either hot, cold or mix water, it makes it inconvenient for our guests to use it at times leaving a negative review is this area. With the ongoing issue and guests feedback on this, the team is already working towards implementing a solution and preventing such future occurrences. The AC is all guest rooms can be manually controlled by guests. You could also refer the thermostat guide placed on the controller. I know that this does not make up for the inconvenience caused but I hope that in some way I am able to show how sorry we are. I booked two nights on Agoda but upon check in reception could not find my reservation in their system. After waiting patiently for over 30 minutes, they told me that I would have to pay the regular rate for the first night even though my credit card had already been charged for the reservation. Since I had just arrived after an 16 hour flight and it was 11pm I had no choice but to pay the regular rate, which was almost twice what I had already paid on Agoda. Reception made no effort to accommodate the situation by just accepting the Agoda confirmation and then finding the reservation later, which is what most other hotels do. They instead blackmailed me into paying a second time at an increased rate. 

The next day after I complained to several people they "found" the reservation and claimed I would get a refund of my duplicate payment.  However, it's now been over a week and I still have not received a refund despite two requests to reception and emails to hotel management. Upon check out reception would not even give me a receipt showing that the refund was due. They also charged me for local hotel taxes even though I later confirmed with Agoda that these had been included with my original payment. This entire situation should have been handled better.

This place is run like a 2 star hotel, not a 4 star hotel.  I am not responsible for the hotel's incompetence in not maintaining an up-to-date reservation system. I was not offered anything as a result of this inconvenience, which forced me to waste a couple hours dealing with multiple staff members. Not even free breakfast or an upgrade. If this hotel cannot even process a simple reservation and provide proper customer support then it's not going to do very well.  During my two night stay I noticed other guests who also had problems. This is unacceptable. 

For what it's worth  when I checked in the bathroom trash can was on top of the toilet (see photo). I'm sure this was just a basic housekeeping oversight but I think it symbolizes exactly how this hotel is run.
