We love visiting Dubai for our holiday breaks. We first tried Movenpick's all inclusive package and found the service very personalized with great attention to detail for our preferences. We have tried staying at other top hotels in the Palm and in the city, but the service was nothing compared to Movenpick, so we decided to stay a second time in JBR.

From the moment we checked in with someone bringing us refreshing cold juice and reception mindful that we had to be quick to make it to dinner, we knew we made the right decision.

Special thanks to Laxmi from the Soul restaurant, our favourite staff member from our first visit, remembered us and our son! She made both our trips very memorable, taking special care to ensure we ordered food based on our personal preferences. She took the stress out of making sure our toddler left dinner satisfied with a sugar free and low salt meal, and always remembered to send us back with milk for him even when it slipped our own minds!

Also, thanks to Thakur from the Talk restaurant who remembered our request for bananas and pomegranate for our son, and brought those for him daily without us even asking again.

It's these small things that made the trip very relaxing, knowing we were at home away from home and didn't have to worry about anything. A place you can truly relax and enjoy yourself!

We stayed here for a week and enjoyed it soo much.
The hotel was lovely. Our room had a fantastic view which was great to people watch.
We asked for tea and coffee for our room and it was delivered sanitised and wrapped.
Temperatures taken on everyone who's entered the hotel.
Breakfast at The Falls restaurant was brilliant.. Soo much choice.
All the staff were happy and willing to help.
Thank you to Hashani in reception who helped me print my covid results.
Hopefully.. This time next year.. We will be back at the Mövenpick.

I stayed here for a day and enjoyed it so much.
The hotel was lovely. The room has a balcony and the view is so amazing.
They didn't keep tea coffee and kettle amenities in the room but which was completely fine. We asked for tea and coffee for our room and it was delivered sanitized and wrapped. Temperatures were taken on everyone who's entered the hotel. The person who checked us in was very kind and polite I think the Indian guy on the night shift was very professional. The guy who brought was rean coffee amenities was also so nice his name was bieto if I am not mistaken.

Hopefully. We will be back at the Mövenpick.

Oh my word. If you have ever stayed anywhere above 4 star in Dubai before you are going to have one big disappointment.

In short, the hotel is at best 3 star. Rooms are dark and need a complete renovation, the hairdryers work for about 5 seconds and then go off for 5 mins. Asking the receptionist for anything that was not in your room was non existent. Sorry, we only have the in room hairdryers. Sorry we have no irons. Sorry we only supply you with one bath towel.

The breakfast was ok, edible and ok but very dry and with little variety.

The pool, was poor and although the staff are lovely I felt really sorry for them as the are having to try and make the environment better but they are not responsible for broken/ripped chairs. Broken tables etc.

The pool has no sunshine so sitting in the sun can only be done by the beach, they provide you with a towel and a mat for the public beach which is overcrowded and frequently has camels walking up and down. There are no drinks served at the beach as it is a public beach and alcoholic beverages can not be consumed.

We spent most of our time paying to go to the pool at the adjacent hotels.

It is very misleading to call yourselves a beach hotel! You are not a beach hotel as you are not on the beach!

Definitely would not recommend to anyone! The Westin, Hilton JBR and Rixos are all within walking distance and you get much more!

I stayed with my wife and baby for 1 week in the hotel. We spent a long time analysing the hotel offers in Dubai, and finally decided to book Movenpick, as we assessed it as well located, high value for money with excellent reviews. We were very happy with our choice, as our stay was very pleasant. The hotel is very well placed in the middle of JBR, with lots of shops and restaurants around, and the public beach is just a few minutes walk away. The staff is attentive, the ambience is cozy and relaxing, the services are high quality (room service, gym, spa, swimming pool, etc). The facilities are very often sanitised which is important aspect these days. For my birthday I received a nice cake, ice-cream and a kind greeting card. The water temperature in the pool was perfect 30 Celsius degrees, comfortable even for our baby. The life-guard was nice and attentive, even brought us some toys, which was highly appreciated. It is in fact the small details and attention, that made our stay an outstanding experience. Finally I'd like to thank warmly for the Customer Relation Officer, Kuma, who was providing great support for us, and helped with the booking of a group of friends whom I convinced to come to this hotel. We look forward to coming back to Dubai and staying in this very pleasant hotel again!

My stay at Movenpick Hotel Jumeirah Beach Hotel was excellent! Joan at the front desk was very professional and made sure my check-in was fast and easy. I decided to upgrade to a suite and it was the best decision. Pravendra helped me get settled into my room and brought my bags up quickly. I had a beautiful view of the Palm Jumeirah and the beach from both balconies in the room. There was a spa bath as well that allowed a view. You could even hear the tv over the speakers in the bathroom. Room service was excellent and efficient. The cheesecake was delicious. I wish I could have tasted the steak as well, but didn't get a chance. Everything was sanitized and they made sure by placing labels on everything that had been disinfected in the room before I arrived. I felt very safe and secure while staying at this hotel.

Be advised that there is construction going on behind the hotel. I also had a room that was joined to another room. The noise didn't bother me as I was in the bedroom most of the time, but I probably would have opted for a room without the joining door (it was locked the whole time so no need to worry).

I will definitely be staying again in the future!

Mixed reviews about this hotel, fantastic location however can be very noisy if you’re trying to get some sleep - at 12am we were wide awake because of the cars and music outside.
Housekeeping need to move faster, it was 4pm before our room was cleaned in the evening and that was after several calls.
The massages are fantastic, ask for Charin (she is brilliant) I’ve been to many places and she was one of the best.
Temperature is checked when you enter the hotel.
Lifts are pretty busy however covid safe as can be.
The bar area is full of people smoking, I appreciate in Dubai you can smoke inside however this is not enjoyable if you’re don’t smoke especially as your clothes stink of smoke. I sat in there for a football match and afterwards my clothes loathed. It was disgusting. Again, for a hotel of this grade surely smoking should be outside. Very disappointing and because of this we never went back in.
Staff are friendly and will do what they can to assist you.

I did like the hotel however it’s just not a 5* as advertised. It’s a nice hotel but you won’t get the 5* feeling.

Lovely stay in movenpick, all helpful with every request. special thanks to pravendra who helped with our luggage!

Great location for stay especially the night life and vibes. Food restaurants all across the strip, arcade area for children, and cute little train ride for children, a couple of minutes walk into the JBR and you’ll see all of these.
Cinemas, Barbers, money exchange, sheesha, beach with sun beds all within walking distance.
Mosque right opposite.

Buffet breakfast has huge selection of foods and drinks. However if you’re looking to venture and try all the different breakfast places on and around JBR for breakfast, might not be worth booking b&b to begin with.
Personally wouldn’t book anything more than breakfast because there are sooo many places to eat and try in this area.

If you travel out to the malls, water parks, desert safari or the souks, you probably will miss your meal times or end up eating at those places.

Laundry service is extremely high, per item charge. There is no such thing as a laundry bag, charge per bag or per kilo etc. Everything is priced per item.

There is a self service launderette a 5-10 minute drive away called laundry lounge. 35aed for your whole load to wash and dry.
This is useful if you want to get your laundry done before you return or are travelling elsewhere and have a large amount To do.

Iron is only available upon request in the bedroom, serviced ironing also has a per piece charge.

Room is serviced and cleaned daily, however there was still a lot of dust seen on unit tops. Considering we have not used or kept open the balcony door, the dust wouldn’t have gathered daily? (Unable to upload picture, will not load onto review :/)

The hotel has a swimming pool which is fairly large, gym and a spa.
We thoroughly enjoyed our massage! Only wish I could remember the names of the 2 lovely ladies who did it. Would definitely recommend.

The hotel offers excursions but at high prices. If you look online or book online through several different tour operators( check reviews) these are less than half the price of the hotel!

Jbr is very busy at nights with huge traffic lines. This is the vibe and buzz of the area and we enjoyed it :)

Whatever reason you stay (for business or leisure) - this is an ideal hotel to choose: conveniently located within 5 min distance from the tram and the beach. "All Safe" measures assure covid19 hygienic safety and make you feel mentally comfortable.

I stayed in the hotel several times and keep coming back as the hotel team makes me feel like at home. My Arabic breakfasts become a tradition and I would like to thank Mary, Laxmi , Chariza, Grace, CJ, Andrea and Hazel for making my repasts a true feasts and entertaining experience.

A warm welcome at the reception is always personalized and makes me feel special. Thank you Frances and Ariz for that.

As a diamond holder of Accor Live Limitless I had an opportunity to experience most of the Accor hotels in Dubai. Movenpick is one of the best ones which I wholeheartedly recommend visiting when you plan visit Dubai.

This hotel is in a fabulous location within walking distance to some major attractions and short taxi rides to others including The Marina and Skydive 🪂 Dubai. The hotel staff are the best I have ever experienced from Mary, Laxmi, Mostafa, Primrose, Hanifa, Jason, Ryan and the whole pool team (sorry I forgot to note their names)

We were all inclusive and the food in the bigger restaurant is excellent, as was the pool snacks and despite the other restaurant being closed the chef was happy to cook on request.

The rooms were spotless and cleaned everyday by Syed and Stelio although furnishings are a little tired and could do with a refurbishment. The room we stayed in had a partial sea view including the spectacular big wheel which was lit every evening.

The public areas are as you would expect, well maintained but the pool in particular is requiring some maintenance with missing tiles and looking very tired however sun beds and cabanas readily available and comfortable with a fresh supply of towels expertly watched over by the team of friendly and professional lifeguards.

The sports bar on the ground floor is not somewhere I would choose to frequent after midnight as can be a little intimidating with non guests being admitted despite security in attendance.

Overall we had a great 👍 stay and based on the service of the staff would stay again and it’s unfortunate due to the amount of building work going on all over Dubai, which is out with the hotels span of control the new buildings shade the pool from 3.30pm onwards that said the service is world class so if you’re not an all day sunbather it’s not an issue.

We have been working with our owners on a plan for improvement in our Rooms product and the good news is that these works have already started. I was also genuinely sorry to hear about your comment about our swimming pool area and for this I apologize. The good news is that we are planning to have a pool area upgrade project this year and soon our pool are will look fresh and modern.
