This hotel, very close to both the Arts Hotel and over-rated Bastion hotel is an absolute gem. It’s true, all the dozen rooms are on street level, but there were no noise or light issue. The boutique stylings were on point, the room were appointed very well, the breakfast beat the Uber-expensive hotels we’ve visited thus far in country, and the location can’t be beat. Besides the fact that the value is beyond belief, it’s the service that makes this your choice hotel in Zadar. Take a look at reviews of the Bastion, then come back here. The reason we are all raving about this place is 100% because of the staff’s service level. For example, parking is limited. No worries, park in any next door public lot, give the staff you car’s tag number, and they’ll keep the meter/app paid during all applicable hours. No surcharge. Just their pleasure. Need I say more?

We had a very nice room - spacious, clean and modern. The only negative issue regarding the room.was the lack of English-speaking tv channels.

The hotel is in a great location. It’s about a 5-minute walk from the Sea Organ.

The front desk employees were very helpful. The woman working 2nd shift at the front desk was very helpful in making us a reservation at a local restaurant she recommended. The restaurant, 2Ribara, was very good.

Breakfast was included in our room rate and was our only disappointment. We arrived and saw some cold items (e.g fruit, yogurt) and ate that for breakfast. After we were finished a waiter shows up and gives us utensils and the menu for hot items. It was too late for us as we had eaten. That didn’t seem to phase him.

Reserved parking spots are available for €20. If you’re driving the reserved spot is essential as spots are tough to come by near the hotel.

Aside from the service issues @ breakfast everything was great. Recommended.

*****ZADAR Croatia review *****🇭🇷🇭🇷🇭🇷🇭🇷

Only home from Rory's three night Zadar deal. (Thanks Rory 🙏❤️) 29.99 return each! What a bargain! Flight time 2.5 hours.

Booked my own hotel as wanted nicer one as was hubbys birthday. Booked a small boutique hotel in the old town of Zadar called Teatro Verdi boutique hotel. Got for 275 for three nights breakfast included with genius discount on booking.com! This hotel was beautiful a gem, only 12 rooms! So peaceful and welcoming. Staff were super helpful and amazing to deal with. Breakfast Amazing. .all English speaking which was super for tourists. Pleasant and accommodating.

Four minute walk to sea organ (sea plays music and right here is nicest sunset) one minute walk to boats etc. Two minutes walk to cathedral and square with numerous restaurants and pubs.

Met other Rory members over there (just by a chance met on first morning) so shared the cost of renting a private boat tour for 3 hours island hopping beautiful little islands, some swimming in clear water from the boat is a must or foot paddling in my case 😂 lovely few beers in the sunshine. Smallest monastery in world built on one island. Guys name who owned the boat was Natico he has just bought his boat and is super proud of it so would be good if he got some trips from Rory members in future. (00 385 97 751 8015 natico boat trips) cuts out middle man booking through agent! He was so chilled and easy going wasn't rushing us off his boat! Worked out 20 euro a head as was six of us on the boat! Highly recommended and weather was fabulous.

Second day done Krka national park it was breathtaking took an hour in taxi we paid 1000 kuna(132 euro between four) return and done a two hour loop hiking trail. For park entry we only paid 50 kuna (6.60) in during march) doubles for April as season starts. Just spectacular views here.

Croatia is so underrated. It was our first time here! Certainly not our last. If you see a deal for Zadar in future .. grab it🇭🇷

Location to old town excellent for walking to all areas. Hotel staff at front desk lovely, and very very helpful. Room quite comfortable except for old dirty carpeting that needs replacing. First hotel we’ve stayed at on this trip where rooms had carpeting vs wood or tile which is much more sanitary. Although breakfast was included, we were told the a la carte menu was extra, as was any specialty coffee. The buffet breakfast was not up to the standard for a boutique hotel- very mediocre. In the end, we were not charged for anything we ordered off the menu, which was confusing.

We stayed in a Superior King Room for three nights at the start of August. From check in to departure the service was excellent. The location is perfect and the daily breakfast is ideal to set you up for exploring the city. I would highly recommend the hotel. Read below for more details…

The room was spacious and comfortable. It was a good temperature even without the aircon on. We slept very well every night.

The hotel is beautifully designed and lives up to its boutique name with only 12 rooms.

Breakfast buffet is included each morning with cereals, yogurt, fruits, meats, cheeses, egg, vegetables and pastries. The mini croissants have chocolate or apricot jam fillings and are delicious. There is also an a la crate menu with 20% off for hotel guests.

The hotel is ideally located to explore the old town. You can also go through the city gate to take the barkajoli rowing boat to the other side of the water.

You’re spoiled for choice for places to eat in Zadar. Pizzeria Tri Bunara across from the hotel is very good, as is Restaurant Bruschetta at the waterfront.

We stayed 3 nights, very comfortable and modern facilities. Staff very friendly and helpful.

The location in Zadar old town is perfect for seeing the island and also accessing transport for tours etc.

The restaurant/ bar facilities are good and breakfast on the alfresco deck most relaxing.

We’ll be back.

My partner and I stayed in Zadar for 3 nights and staying at Teatro Verdi was just magical for both of us.The location is excellent offering all that Zadar has to offer within walking distance and our room was very comfortable and quiet with an excellent bathroom and gorgeous bath products.Very sleek modern interiors, with attention to detail in all areas. I wished we could have stayed longer. There is a fascinating history to the building.
The bed was so comfortable.
Breakfast was first class we can recommend the avocado and poached egg on toast just delicious and a great way to start the day! Coffee is delicious as all other foods available.
Reception staff were fabulous especially Maria.Marin,Lukas and Lovre. All staff very professional and exceptionally polite.
A real gem of a place and extremely clean, classy and comfortable.
We can't wait to return and looking forward to another beautiful romantic getaway.
Thank you also to Mateo. And to you Maria, you are a real sweetheart.

This small boutique hotel (there are only 12 rooms) is located at the edge of Old Town Zadar just a few minute walk to all the sights of Old Town. A small buffet breakfast was included in the room rate but there was also a menu with other breakfast items for a small fee. The front desk employee was friendly, helpful and professional.
