Probably not my first choice for a holiday hotel, but being on a business trip, didn’t mind staying here. Amenities a little poor, small bathroom and small choice of soap/gels, hairdryer in poor condition. Bed not the most confortable. Room clean. View could be better...More
First impressions, great location (only a 5min drive from the old town), the staff were very pleasant and professional, the hotel and room were very clean! The breakfast was lovely! Would definitely recommend this hotel!
A/C in the room doesnt work after following the instructions (closing all doors and windows...) and it was terrible accomodation. Rooms are clean with a free coffee/tea which is definitely nice. However, room is rather small and not really comfy. Breakfast lifts the grade from...More

Dubrovnik old town within city walls is expensive, but not any more than any other city/tourist centre. If you want to eat and drink there try going up the side streets rather than the main areas. Look at the menus on display to get an idea of prices. We also used the restaurant/bars to the left of the hotel as mentioned by others. If you're feeling a little more adventurous then turn right out of the hotel and walk to the bottom of the hill where you turn right again. Several bars here which are used by locals and students - some with rather loud music!
