Took a solo trip to Romania and stayed in this hotel where I didn't once feel unsafe. Staff were friendly throughout the trip. Room was a nice size, as was the bathroom and both were spotlessly clean. Safe in the room was very convenient. Plenty of variety at breakfast. Location

Very nice hotel, right next to cismigiu gardens. Excellent breakfasts, very friendly and helpful staff. There was just a little problem with the water, it needed very much time to turn from cold to hot.Absolutely suggest it!

I stayed in Hotel Trianon for three nights as a single traveller. Hotel’s location is a strong point as the hotel is a tiny walk away from Bucharest’s sights and interests but is tucked away on a quiet side street. A minute walk to the Cismigiu Park. Don’t be put away by

Hi there - the hotel is between 30 and 40 minutes by bus, its quite a long walk from the nearest bus stop (about 10 mins) to the hotel. The bus fair is about £1. The hotel receptionists are very helpful and will direct you to the old town (walk along the river is best) and there are loads of bars, cafes and night clubs there, all seem to be perfectly good. Its very buzzy - if you want nightlife you will be fine. There are no teas and coffee making facilities in the hotel, but lots of coffee shops nearby. Breakfast in the hotel is ok. I do recommend you buy bottles of water and snacks for the room though, I don't think you can drink the tap water. Have a great time

Can you do an excursion to Dracula's Castle from this hotel/area?
Yes. Many day tours include Peres palace (impressive) in the morning and bran castle (drac's less awesome residence). A long day with a lunch break in brasov. Both sights can be incredibly busy and have long waits if done self-guided. Besides a good storyteller can enliven drac's surrounding.
