Pros: Excellent location, very helpful staff with excellent English, comfy beds, nice rooms, nice breakfast Cons: Some poor workmanship in bedroom Two night stop over here for the England U21 game in Albania. The room was nicely appointed and the beds were very comfortable. Tv/Wi-fi both good. Small balcony out the front although not much of a view. Some of the workmanship in the room was to a poor standard. For instance the sink a bit loose and shower door leaked. Breakfast was very good with a decent selection for a small hotel. The young guy behind reception was very helpful. He spoke excellent English and made recommendations of places to eat/things to do. All in all a very nice place to stay.

The gentleman at reception when we arrived was very welcoming, incredibly nice and knowledgeable. Our room was small but well laid out and very clean. When we left to sight see, I had had nothing bad to say about this hotel. However, when we got back after a late dinner we noticed that our room was very warm. We gave it some time to cool down, but it never did. I went to the front desk to ask for assistance. Another gentleman was working, he was very nice and came up to our room, but was unable to do anything about the issue and the maintenance guy was out of town. There were no other open rooms, and since it was after 23:00 we decided to stay put. We tried opening the window, but it did not help and the outside was noisy with barking dogs and car horns. Our room stayed at an uncomfortable 82 degrees F, which is even more uncomfortable laying on a foam mattress. Around 8AM, the AC started working again. Just in time for us to pack and check-out. I can forgive that sometimes things like this happen. But I cannot look past what happened next. At check-out, the lady at the desk never even brought up the AC, or apologized. I had to bring it up. Tired and dehydrated, I asked for some sort of compensation, she said the only thing they could do is pay for the $4 parking. She actually told me, "it could have been worse, it could have been hotter," and, "Well, it is working now. we fixed it!" I told her I wanted $30 back out of the $71 we paid in order to make up for the fact that we didn't sleep, she told me "I can give you $10, we can't just give back money to people." (Then please provide adequate heating and cooling). Being tired made me extra stubborn. After about 30 minutes of receptionist treating me like was trying to "get away with something," the manager finally came over. After hearing my side of the story (which she was completely unaware of.....) I was given a full refund. (extra star). Additional Negatives: - Another thing I found off putting was the list of strict rules the supply you in the room. (A set of 7 on the door, and another set of 50 in a booklet on the desk) Most are not a problem, like, "no motor bikes in the hallway." (DUH). But the list of rules makes me feel like a school child staying at a sleezy hotel, "no hookers." (I'll bring hookers in if I darn well please!!) A couple of the rules are really unreasonable like, "no outside food or beverages." - Laundry services were grossly overpriced, even for western standards. - Mini bar was overpriced. - Bathroom light was so dim! TLDR; AC didn't work, receptionist was disrespectful and rude.

Dear guest! Let's start with "Dear" just to be respectful even this is not what you deserve with this review on our behalf. It could be easy for you to write a description as below an not consider that this can affect our work negatively even our effort is huge, our dedication goes beyond what we should do; but let me say that in more than six years hundreds of positive review show exactly the contrary of what you are saying. It is common for us to explain to all our guest any complain, in reviews or personally but this time it is not worthy of. As long as you comment every detail of our property as negative offending, you make all this theatre crying at the desk to get your payment back, and start laughing at the door on the way out ; there is no need for more explanations. An yes, it can happen that the air conditioning can not work, but how is possible that your was Ok in the early morning? How can minibar be too expensive if one bottle of water is 1 Euro? How can laundry be expensive if one shirt wash is only 3 Euro? And all those rules that make you feel like a school child are only to make you feel secure in the hotel where you are staying. And they are all international rules and regulation of the hospitality industry. Usually we end our response with " we welcome you back in our hotel" but here there is no place for guests like you.
