Amazing place - besides the whole architecture, the facilities and the people give the magic! We’ve felt welcomed and pampered! Our car was parked by their concierge, the luggages taken to the room, for a small fee we had some laundry done, free of charge my husband had in 10 min the suit perfectly ironed. The Spa has superb services - my husband who was reluctant to go for a couples massage loved it - hammam, massage and a facial. The pool was quiet and soooo relaxing. The breakfast is just perfect - not exaggerated but good quality products and fresh. The restaurant was a total delight - in both food and drinks! And in the end - the staff is great, helpful, friendly and ready to go above and beyond! If we ever go back - this hotel is our only choice!
Xheko Imperial Hotel is an expanding hotel located in an upscale neighborhood surrounded by restaurants ,the cheapest souvenir store ( $1.50 for a magnet) and about 1 km from the square. The hotel is divided into two- the original 4 story hotel with unrenovated standard rooms with a balcony and a rooftop restaurant and the 14 floor newly built tower ( only the first 5 floors are opened along with the rooftop restaurant which for now is only available for special events) with newly opened deluxe rooms and the recently opened spa and fitness center on -3 level. The well decorated and cozy lobby is medium size with a heavy Greco design influence . There isn't always a bellboy available when checking in/out as most of the staff multi task. I found check in to be a bit unfriendly- no greeting, no smile- felt like I was at a funeral. I was bracing myself for 3 horrifying days. Not a very good first impression. My room was on the 1st floor of the original hotel. These rooms still use a key that is harder to use and not very convenient. The good size room had an outside area, a safe, but was dated. There were outlets near the bed but not a master switch for the lights easily assessible. The bathroom had all the amenities you want with a regular shower. The bed was comfortable enough and there was free, fast and reliable internet. Free bottle water is provided daily. Breakfast is served on the 4th floor rooftop of the original hotel. The quality buffet had a good selection of pastries, cheeses, breads, cold cuts and delicious fresh fruit. Scrambled eggs or a hard boiled eggs were available (but not made to order eggs) along with sausages, bacon and potatoes. Fresh orange juice wasn't available. There was a wide selection of fresh food to satisfy everyone. The highlight of the hotel is the newly opened Asian spa. The pool, jacuzzi and sauna are free to use for hotel guest ( hammam is an extra charge). You are surrounded by Greek statues and marble as you are enjoying the amenities. It's truly luxurious. The spa and massages are heavily Asian influenced- mostly Bali and Thai. The masseuses' are well trained and the messages are authentic but a bit pricey. Well worth it though. Besides the initial bad impression of the staff, all the others were professional, cheerful and helpful. The dynamic duo of Marrisa and Sinoma are a power duo- always smiling, extremely helpful and will always brighten up your day. Almost all of the staff are helpful and well trained. I realize that first impressions are important but if it is a bad one-you should keep an open mind and maybe the staff member had a bad day. I'm glad I did- from a very disappointing start to my stay to a memorable one. Xheko Imperial Hotel is a great hotel in Tirana which provides service fit for royalty.…
We had 3 rooms family of 7. The superior room was nice. The deluxe room and imperial rooms were fantastic. Spa was perfect recommend use of pool and hot tub. The breakfast was perfect as well huge spread and variety. Staff could not have been more professional. Highly recommended
I booked via whatsapp and specified that i wanted a balcony. I was told a price and o booked the room. When i got there, i was shown to very nice room but with zero balcony and a view of a tin roof. I complained and they said they didn't have any with a balcony. The idea that i should have been told that when I booked didn't seem to sink in. They charged me for the upgrade to a room with a hotel. I was furious but also tired so i just got on with it. The blonde woman on reception was also rude severaë times. My second room was great but noisy. Otherwise the staff were very nice, the massage staff were lovely, great facilities, and nice breakfast. Room service was prompt. But that issue with checking in caused me unnecessary stress and would put me off from going back.
Overall the hotel deserves very good rating! BUT Shouldn’t consider for pool as it is very crowded and many kids are allowed which makes it very difficult to swim and relax!! Paid good amount of money to sit on a floor vase lol!!! Massage girls are highly recommended though.
