Excellent service, very comfortable stay. We had our wedding banquet here and extended another day of hotel stay. The entire process from check in to check out was very convenient, we also appreciate the commemorative photo given to us after check in, as well as the welcome Singapore Sling and the high tea at the grand lobby. I also appreciate that when we requested for our food to be cleared from the room, upon our return, I noted that the housekeeping staff had tidied up the rest of the room as well. Another positive point: we were at the courtyard suite and our neighbour happened to be a heavy smoker (who really enjoyed smoking outside). But surprisingly, we were unable to smell any smoke at all in our room so long as we close the doors. In other hotels I usually would have requested to change rooms but here I didn't need to. The wedding was also very enjoyable. All staff have been friendly and helpful. We didn't have to worry at all during the entire process. Our guests told us they enjoyed the food and experience as well. Overall, great experience, highly recommended for very special occasions.

Hotel's Favourite
I was like a kid in a candy store when it came to selecting a 5 star hotel in Singapore. Since I couldn't choose where to stay, we decided to go hotel-hopping. We stayed at the spacious Westin, the modern JW Marriott, the Grand Hyatt in the middle of shopping paradise, the swanky St. Regis, the relaxed W Sentosa Resort, and the iconic Raffles Hotel. We enjoyed each of our visit and all of the hotels will be reviewed separately. However, I'm glad we saved the best for last. From the moment we pulled up to the gravelly driveway, we immediately felt welcomed and were made to be at home. Starting from the stately doormen to our graceful butlers to the boutique, everyone treated us with kindness and warmth. It is no wonder that this establishment is a class above the rest. I love the Italian marble and lush greeneries throughout the property. It is a serene oasis within a bustling city. The elegant suite is the best of both worlds, imparting a sense of history with the state of the art comfort. This hotel was closed for nearly 2 years for a complete transformation. No expense was spared and it shows. Breakfast at the elegant Tiffin room was indulgent with delicious local offerings. On the second day, we sat outdoors with the view of a historical fountain. The whole place seems to exude a sense of understated luxury, however, it is their hospitality which sets them apart. We would like to recognize the following staff members for going the extra mile. Joy, Gwendolyn, Rina in the reservations team Harpreet (Happy) & Amir at the door to welcome us each time Anwar at the lobby and for pictures Rie, Cheryl, Yujun, and Thyra - our dedicated Butlers Nadia the Concierge for arranging our in-room ART Test Nazir the Historian for a fabulous and educational tour Ludeth, Joshua, and Kelly at the Tiffin Room Akira and Jiyeon at the Reception Alphonsus, Liana, and Michelle at the Raffles Boutique for an exquisite shopping experience. Thank all of you for making our stay a memorable one. We shall return!

4 nights of opulence in a unique piece of history that is now in the heart of a stunning city. An oasis of relaxed elegance that I had hoped would be as good as the legend and was actually better. Our Courtyard Suite was well worth the upgrade price and we pre booked breakfast for our holiday and this was also exceptional. We had afternoon tea 1 day as it was a special occasion and I would recommend this as well. The atmosphere is very laid back with most guests in either tourist or business attire. The staff are plentiful, delightful and are a real part of the whole experience. The ladies in their stunning dresses seem to float around the building. There was a head of state visit whilst we were there but this had no impact on the other guests. Our once in a lifetime experience has left me with a desire to return 1 day to stay again. The roof top pool with its excellent gym and bar was the ultimate was to swim surrounded by high rise buildings. Superb - thank you all.

This tea is worth the wait. Every aspect of it was luxurious and the scones kept on coming. The ambiance was outstanding. I will be returning in September for another afternoon tea at Raffles. I actually visited in August 2019.

Be pampered in this heritage hotel that offers excellent butler service and cosy suites for a relaxing stay in spite of its central location in the city. You will be spoilt with the number of F&B options in and around the hotel. Check out the boutiques in their shopping arcade and find time to join a guided tour to know more about the hotel’s history, restoration and famous guests. Enjoy breakfast in the private space of your balcony in a bigger suite which is good for families and friends. Perfect for a staycation for special occasions and celebrations!

High Tea - we didn’t stay at the hotel but did attended the high tea. At 42 years old, it was my first high tea and it was as fancy as I was expecting. Desserts were so pretty, champagne (Billiecart Salmon Rose) was amazing, Green Tea (jasmine) was delicious. The service was exceptional! After the High Tea we walked around the grounds and it was all so pretty. Went for a Singapore sling at the bar. That was an experience also. Peanuts on the table and shells on the ground. Place was packed and the Singapore Sling was worth the $82 for 2.
