Loved the location in a heritage area and close to delicious hawker markets where there was always something new to try. Only problem at the hotel was the air - conditioner which blew cold air on to us as we tried to slept, if you turned it off the room got too hot and stuffy.
The overall stay was good . The staff was very friendly and made me feel welcomed and home The room was a little bit small and dark. I would suggest to install some power plugs over the side table at the bed to ease the connection of laptop e.c.t.
I really liked the location. Tiong Bahru is a lovely neighbourhood and the hotel is really close to the food centre which is definite must-visit. The hotel is old but without the old-time charm unfortunately. Don't expect Maison Borella. Rooms are tiny but clean.
If you want to stay in the Tiong Bahru area then this small hotel is highly recommended. Hotel rooms are small but comfortable enough. It’s right next door to all the best cafes and restos as well as the Tiong Bahru market. Value for money!
