We got up early as we were still jet lagged and all of a sudden, my son saw grey smoke coming from the air conditioning unit. Within seconds the unit was on fire. It was blocking our only exit from the room. The fire alarm DID NOT go off. We took a chance and made a run for it. We had to run 1 flight down to the reception screaming fire before security ran up with an extinguisher. An investigation has proved that the air conditioner unit AND the fire alarm system were faulty.
They serve very tasteful grilled squid and fruit shakes. Don’t suggest to order prawns and oysters. Oysters are too small. Prawns are too expensive per 100 grams. There’s a delightful view on the ocean and a pretty quite atmosphere comparing to the area of D’mall.
We arrived after the typhoon and of course not everything works as usual then in Boracay. But the hotel arranged so we got the The best room you can imagine. They made us feel so welcome here. This is truly one of the best places to stay at the white beach. After talking to so many people this is truly the best sand along the whole whitebeach and a perfect combination of relaxing and ambience.
Airport transfers cost 850 per person, including children under 7, and they didn't bother to pick us up nor send any word that the agreement to be picked up was canceled. On another incident, I called for room service but said that what i was ordering could not be brought to the room. So i went from the annex building to the main building to do it myself, once the order was ready, the waiter offered to carry it to my room. In the end, its like it couldn't be done via room service but could be done all the same. Oh, when we were checking in, first they said they needed some time but never bothered to tell us that the room was ready so we were killing time for nothing. Then when they offered to help with our bags, they literally took one back pack leaving me to carry 3 other bags on my own. Sad service to be honest, especially considering the place isn't even that nice and they charge quite a lot.…
What are you, a Michelin Star restaurant to make such a demand??? We wanted to have a lovely seafood grill dinner and found the selections in Estacio Uno's restaurant to be truly mouthwatering. We were willing to spend for the evening but just flabbergasted when the attendant asked for a down payment for dinner that we have not decided items over! They required payment to reserve a table just to ensure that we will come back and dine. Well... this STUPID POLICY achieved the exact opposite. We searched for another restaurant that offered the same grilled items and spent a good P15k on food and beverage there. The funny thing is this restaurant was not even fully booked. Why do that when you can simply just strictly enforce a short holding period for reservations as what is ethically practiced? Michelin Star restos all over the world don't even do that! …
