We stayed here for 4 nights, March 16-20 and LOVED it. Great location near Andingmen metro station, Subway Line 2. We had seen reviews where people had complained taxi drivers from airport or elsewhere did not understand the address. So we saw the street view on the qq map and

If you’re on a budget and rather be spending your money exploring the city this is a noisy but ok budget place. I lived here on my own and felt very safe walking the huttongs night time even if it was very dark in the alleys. Breakfast was said to be included when I booked the

My first impression was... oh my, what did I just book. But if you see past the shabby ally and walk in to the courtyard you are in for a surprise. Yes it is small, the bed is hard, they don’t speak English and it is hard to find. But it had everything I needed during my stay in

You can either get a taxi directly to the Hotel (try to make a note of the address in Chinese as well and the telephone number as English isn't spoken much) or you can take the airport express line to Dongzhimen then transfer to Line 2 going in the direction of Andingmen, get off at Andingmen station and exit out of side A, From the station exit A, turn right and cross over the road, when on the other side then go right again, walk down the road until you come to road called Huayuan E Alley or it will be sign posted as Huayuandxiong Alley, go left up the street and you will see a flashing sign with red writing on it (it's pretty easy to spot) when you reach the sign go left down the alleyway and you'll come to the hotel entrance, check in times and check out times are both 12pm.

"just ask for a room on the first floor"
"Executive room 107 in first/ground floor or Luxury room (202) in second floor"
"All rooms are courtyard facing so noise can be heard throughout. Go for second floor away from the entrance."
"I had a second floor room however it was quiet in the entire hotel so I don't think it matters which room you choose."
