Peaceful, beautiful, heart warming, welcoming, friendly, inviting, natural, serene, authentic . . .These are but some of the words that come to mind when I think of Olkoroi Camp. I have been fortunate enough to stay here 3 times during an annual mountain bike event in Kenya and our one night camp at Olkoroi is the one I look forward to the most. You always know your tent will be ready, showers waiting with hot water after a dusty 90+km cycle and friendly faces will be waiting at the end you your journey to welcome you - SINCERELY welcome you. This year I didn't stay in the normal camp site, but in one of Olkoroi's comfy tents with private open air bathroom. It was incredible! The tent is in the bush yet close to camp, private with even your own private fire in front of your tent. I cannot wait to take my children to Olkoroi for an unforgettable experience in the bush and making use of all they have to offer. I would never hesitate to recommend this camp to anyone who would like to have an authentic African experience. This is a place where you will truly learn about, see, smell, taste, feel and be part of Africa and the Maasai culture.

Visiting the wilds of Kenya has been a life long ambition of mine and I was so full of excitement and anticipation as the date of my trip drew nearer. The first thing I must say is that the team here have been an integral part of my hopes and expectations being utterly surpassed! All of my group were so well looked after. The whole team were friendly, helpful and welcoming, acutely knowledgable and informative, and demonstrably dedicated to the land, the wildlife and the local community. I could not have wished for a better experience. This trip has been life-changing and I would thoroughly recommend exploring this deeply magical land in the care of this great organisation. I've had the most amazing and breathtaking experiences and I've completely fallen in love with the wonderful beauty and honesty that I found in this very special area of Kenya. Thank you to everyone at Olkoroi Camp for helping to make my trip so truly unforgettable. I will visit again!

Are you looking for a place that is different from all the other touristic spots? The Olkoroi Camp is your destination!!! That place is just amazing. You‘ll live in on of the most beautiful spots in the world. In the middle of nature you‘ll experience a peaceful and exciting place where you can relax and get to know the Maasai culture one on one. We‘ve found new friends among the Maasai and already looking forward to visit that place again. They will provide for everything and really take care that guests feel welcome and safe. At night we’ve had the Zebras grazing around our tent, also during the day you‘ll see a lot of wild animals just in front of the camp. Just next to the camp is an amazing river with fairly warm water, running through a stunning forest. Countless times, we‘ve been swimming inside this river. Another very essential thing is, they will cook genuine African food on the fire which is just delicious. The camp also has their own Guides who grew up in this lands and will show you the wild animals and tell you a lot about the nature. Furthermore, they have another camp at the border to the Masai Mara which is already one of our most favorite places in the entire world. So, if you have the chance to visit this camp, we encourage you - DO IT!!! You‘ll never regret it!

As a group of 6 persons we spent a week at the Olkoroi Camp. It combines beautiful natural surroundings with the possibility of gaining an authentic insight into the Maasai culture. Our excursions into the surrounding hills and valleys under the expert guidance of a Maasai were one of the many highlights, the food cooked on an open fire was another. Off the beaten track and well wort a visit!
