This is a new hotel located in parklands that not many people know about, I have visited twice and they provide good service, have spacious rooms and good prices for long term visits..they are vegetarian but provide a variety of breakfast choices..they upgraded my room for free..there was a slight water problem but the staff sorted it right away..they have a nice bar and lounge area..will definitely be visiting again..

Good value for money. I would say very budget-friendly place. Very clean quiet place. Nice & big rooms. Excellent and concerned staff ready to go the extra mile to make things happen just like I wanted.

The hotel looked decent from the outside but the inside was a completely different story. It has been poorly maintained, both electrics and plumbing are in a dire state and the management do not know how to deal with customer complaints. Upon check-in, the first room we were given didn’t have a working safe. We were moved to a second room that flooded after the shower broke. Third room was bare, old and dusty. Bathrooms have exposed wires, which made me very nervous and ‘hot’ water was luke warm at best, with guests being asked to switch on the immersion heater switch when going in for a shower.

We stayed two nights and were part of a bigger group. All our friends were equally dissatisfied. Would not stay there again and definitely would not recommend to others.

It’s a shame that the management have neglected this hotel. It’s in a great location and has potential.
I was charged again for my room which was already paid for. Offered Kenyan shillings whereas I’d paid for by card so have incurred extra charges.
The bathroom has no hot water so had cold showers. It’s a hazardous shower with live wires running close to water. A fatal accident waiting to happen. No health and safety rules.
Staff try their best to resolve problems.
Breakfast was good.
Rooms are good size.

Convenient location but a badly maintained hotel with health and safety issues. Problems ranged from exploding shower heads to flooding. Staff were helpful in resolving issues but Management/owners were not interested.

This was my 3rd stay at Jewel Stone and it was fantastic always.

You can't go wrong for the price and all the staff are very friendly and helpful. The restaurant has amazing food, rooms are very clean and location is excellent and close to a lot of places.

The manager was specifically very helpful and welcoming. She went out of her way to make my stay comfortable.

I highly recommend Jewel Stone for families, business or solo travel.

This hotel is well located in Nairobi but has seen better days. Sadly it is very badly maintained and badly managed. It is rather dirty and more akin to a shoddy back packing hostel than a 3* hotel. Having said that it provided breakfast and a bed at a reasonable price as well a security guard at the gate. The Jewelstone has potential but currently the Jewel needs a lot of work to make it shine.

The room was large and comfortable; the staff were very friendly and helpful; the breakfast was fantastic! Hotel is within walking distance of a supermarket and smaller local markets. There is 24-hour security. There is a small restaurant at the hotel with good vegetarian food. There is also a swimming pool, but it is rather small and not good for lap swimming. I enjoyed my stay here!

I had a great comfortable stay at this hotel. The rooms are spacious and cozy and the management is very welcoming and friendly. I was impressed with the food (especially the chilli paneer dish) though there is a wide variety to choose from. Great location which makes it easy to move around. Also they have a stunning pool bar to relax at. Overall i loved my stay with this hotel and would definitely stay here again.
