We chose this property because it was not too far from the airport and we did not want a long ride after a long trip. However it is still quite convenient to the National Park and other areas we were visiting. The room was very nice and spacious. The only complaint was the bed was a bit firm. The service was amazing. Everyone remembered us and were very attentive. The food was expensive, but not unreasonably so. Uber Eats is also available in the area, but we never used it. For room service is probably was less expensive than properties in the US. It is a solid four star hotel.

We had a stay of several days at the Boma Inn.
The room and the bathroom were very clean.
The breakfast was good and there was a plenty of choice.
We suggest putting a visible tip box so you can thank the staff behind the scenes for their service.
During our stay we noticed, that we only had one waste bin under the vanity in the bathroom. We suggest, that you put a second waste bin under the writing table, also it would be useful to put a hanger at the door with: " Do not disturb or make my room".
Other than that everything was fine.
The room itself was very quiet.
We would like to thank the staff, who were very friendly and assisted us with all our requests.
At the end of this review we want to mention Alex, Mercy, Guest Room Attendant, the breakfast staff, the security: Thank you for making our stay so delightful!
We felt very comfortable at the Boma Inn!
We would love to comeback to the Boma Inn on our next stay in Nairobi.

Quiet and homely accommodation. It is a good place for those working on projects that require silence. The facilities at the main hotel, and option for taking meals from either hotels makes a unique service in Nairobi.

Truly delighted with the facility & rooms. The staff are professional & very warm welcoming people that ensured our stay was an absolute pleasure. The hotel is very secure & the only negative is that the location isn’t conducive to exploring on foot.

I stayed here a few nights upon arrival in Nairobi before embarking on a safari. The hotel was able to arrange a very early morning pick up for me from the airport. The hotel complex, which includes the fancier hotel that you can use the amenities of next door, is beautiful, gated, and has an ATM on site. My room was nothing special and looked a bit the worse for wear, but the excellent staff (and pool access) more than made up for the room's shortcomings. I felt the on-site restaurant prices were a bit high, but the food quality was good. There are also a variety of exceedingly cheap restaurants easily within walking distance around the corner from the hotel, including a local fast food chain serving shawarma and an excellent bakery (Mayash Sweet Bakery). Overall, I would stay here again, especially since a stay here helps to support Kenya's Red Cross.

Lovely stay, nice gardens, friendly helpful staff. Had a wonderful stay 4 nights. Staff was friendly and helpful. Just across parking lot is fancy Boma hotel with all the conveniences you need. Spa was wonderful- got a great 90 minute massage! Spent some time in the gardens sitting and doing remote work on my laptop. Gym and pool. Restaurant had good breakfast buffet that was varied some each day, includes omelettes made to order. 24 hour restaurant is so convenient when you are jet lagged and adjusting. Inexpensive laundry service - I brought to the desk at 11 am and it was delivered back to my room by 6 pm. Definitely recommend!

We were put up in this hotel by an airline due to severe delays as we were flying home.
It’s a secure hotel - entrance through gates and security scanners for bags and things once you arrive.
I feel the hotel is split in to two- the Boma is one side (a grand glass like building that has all of the facilities) and then the Boma inn opposite, next to a college and conference spaces which was not as grand.

Our bed was clean, the room appeared tired with cracks in tiles, gaps in floorboards, chips in the sink, squashed flies and mosquitoes on ceilings and walls.
This was the only hotel during my whole trip (safari and Mombasa before hand) that I got bitten severely by mosquitoes.
However, our room was well cleaned each day.
The Boma (over the road) is the one you go to for food, drinks in the bar and use of the rooftop pool and gym.
The food was ok- the hotel tried their best to cater for a sudden flight load of people, however sometimes if you got to breakfast just before finishing time, there was no bread or juice left.
Other times, dinner choices were stews with rice, luke warm potatoes and vegetables.
Staff very friendly and welcoming each time they saw us. This isn’t a hotel I would have chosen for us to stay in but we appreciated their hospitality. Thank you all.

I didn't have a good experience with how the staff handled my accommodation issue. I cancelled one night of my stay which the hotel staff assured that I could use the night on a different day. Therefore I booked a different night accordingly. Upon check in at 6:00 PM, they mentioned that the hotel was overbooked and took back their promise of honouring this night stating that it's against their policy. Apparent calls to the manager did not help the situation. I was stranded and started searching for another hotel. Later that night, they informed me that they had a free room. Annoying night and experience as the room was too loud so they had to move me to another room.

When the best turns out to be the best. My guests at the wedding function praised the food, the stress free event handling. The photo shoot area was great with superb ambience. I enjoyed the steam and Sauna moments. Thank you for doing just what you promised! Your staff were also knowledgeable of the services you are offering, kudos and keep the fire burning.

Very nice room. But only one restaurant was open at night and "roof top pool and bar" was less than impressive. All the staff was great, doing what they could to make you comfortable. For some reason I have to write 200 letters, this is the reason for the last sentence.
