after a two week journey around the country this Hotel was my place to relax before my flight back home.
it was a too big apartment with a bedroom, kitchen, dining table, sofa and a great balcony with a nice view.
I could cook my dinner to have a cheap but healthy meal
had a great sleep
an amazing stay
the tabs of the bathroom were antique and special from old time but with good quality.

Location in the central business district gives easy access to business locations and major attractions. Well equipped and clean place. Good for both short and long stay. Art Cafe at ground floor offers good menu of multiple choices. For a tourist easy walk to the City Market for souvenirs.

It was my second time staying here and I absolutely loved the experience. Room 909 was a nice new experience. I did not use the pool area but hopefully next time. The receptionist were amazing both Chris and sela (not sure on that spelling). The view is amazing. However I wish the coffee station was well stocked up with some creamers and coffee.

It's a damn Shame that my time there was just awful .I have always said when you own such a hotel make sure your staff is also Upto per. I was literally harassed with front office faith and a security guy nyatich posing as the manager ..despite me requesting to see the manager this security guard Andrew has the audacity to shut my room ...like you should know people .it was a really really really awful experience and I just hope that no one should ever have to experience anything traumatic like that ..treating guest like roaches yet we are giving you our money is pathetic to say the least .I hope the general manager will handle his workers and send them to etiquette school .how do you work in the hospitality industry yet you don't even know how to handle guests??!I will need therapy after what I went through...lord have mercy on my poor soul.and apparently I am not the only guest who has been at the mercy of that trio .

İ love hotels that have been in business for the longest because they serve everything above standard.i stayed here for five nights and got a very good deal .my apartment was up to standard and my house keeper nancy was very helpful and understanding and kept my room clean .the hotel staff were generally helpful especially at curfew time due to covid .front office was also very organized and security of this premise is impeccable.i swam at the pool can't complain with the nairobi heat .ample free packing and also my guests could visit .i was able to prepare meals for myself .internet is 5g with netflix and prime available (with your own logins). The apartments are spacious and quiet .it within the cbd (central business district ) so it's easily accessible to and from the airport .uber is easily available .shops and cafes are nearby .this is where I will be staying Everytime i travel to Nairobi ..well maintained though they have to change the rags and carpets

Regards

So…
This was an interesting choice…(NOT)!!!
By the picture, it seamed ok, for work and short stay…. But NO! This is actually the first hotel I booked and paid, ok… with my discount 55usd/night, total 110usd, and total waist of money!!
I came, I looked and I walked. I didn’t even take my bag in. Not ok area, no lights in the hall and the rest… no comments.

Situated on the upper floors of a large, centrally-located downtown building that has retail and a pretty good restaurant/pub on lower levels, these apartments must have come into service sometime before the mid-1960s at the latest, and unrenovated since them -- everything in there is from a pre-plastic world. Almost a time capsule. Things have been patched together and are in working order, but it is old. The studio room was good-sized: bed (surrounded by mosquito net, which you will need to use), couch and chair in sitting area, and gally kitchen. Entrance to bathroom is next to head of the bed. Flimsy sliding glass door (which doesn't do much against the traffic noise) opens on to small grime encrusted balcony. Kitchen was functional, but not equipped with a whole lot, at least in this apartment. Closet space was minimal and safe was a wooden, home-made contraption requiring your own lock. Water heater worked on a switch requiring about 20 minute lead time. TV old with lousy picture, internet was more or less ok. There isn't a lobby or hotel infrastructure here: just a desk and elevator with guard at the door. Each floor is security keycarded. Access to Chester Apts is shared with entrance to mall, which is guarded at night. Location is the best asset here, for daytime activity and for nightlife, and as an apartment guests may be brought in no problem.

I stayed at Chester House for a few days, and was very satisfied with the facilities. The kitchen was well-equipped, incl oven and microwave, and adequately stocked with dishes and cutlery. Bed comfortable, but only doubles available. Price was 112 UD$ a night. security good.

We actually saw a few places in this budget and this one was the best. Did not take breakfast but had dinner and was sad. Make sure room has wifi router. All in all it was the most expensive hotel in our trip.

I stayed there for a week and will try it the next time.
The benefits: 1-Locating in the city center. 2- A comfortable suite (80 m2) 3- Good security.
4- You can have guests as much as you can without any limits. 5- The equipped Kitchen (Oven, Microwave, Sink) allows you to feel at home. 5- Good quality of internet. 6- Polite Staff.
The Weak-points: 1- Breakfast (it is better to buy something from super market) 2- The furniture and toilet are old enough. 3- it could be more clean. 4-No safety box. 5- No gym.

The price is also fair enough.
