I stayed there for one night and it was ok. Good location in the city center. Wifi was ok. Friendly staff. Cleanliness ok. As I checked out early morning for a game drive to Nairobi NP I got a small breakfast box. The restaurant had some promising food on the menu but I didn't have the chance to try it.

I stayed here on 2 occasions while doing treks in Kenya. The place is clean, nice restaurant (no alcohol). While it isn't in the best neighborhood, it was safe thru the day and early evening. Good wifi and hot water here!

The location of the hotel is good, the food is okay and the staff is really nice and helpful.
The rooms are quite basics but it’s okay for 2 or 3 days.
Good wifi connection. Restaurant serve international food and has a special Somalian food menu.

I liked my stay. They allowed an early checkin at 5am and also helped me with a charger to fit the socket. Basic accomodation. I had no complaints for the price and the location was the best part about the hotel in the centre of everything

The Embassy is a very modest hotel but fine for a night in Nairobi.
It is located in the central area of the city, right in front of a market which makes the street very noisy even at night.
In short, Embassy is a fairly cheap hotel but I would only recommend it for a short stay before heading out on an safari...

For a hotel in such a location, it was a bit disappointed. First there is no lift, then the room wasn't that clean; the bed had what I believe to be dustmite, residue under the Pillow, too noisy and the view was of rooftop The breakfast option is also too limiting.

All in all the staff was quite helpful and friendly

We stayed here midway of our trip around East Africa. First off I’d say the treatment/service from the staff was amazing and they were all very friendly. One girl
Jen even helped us make a payment to a driver via Mpesa which we did not have. Unfortunately the hotel
Was going through noisy/messy renovations during our stay which wasn’t great. We stayed in two separate rooms which we felt were overpriced but I assume the good location accounts for this.
Issues for both rooms were the windows not being able to close (one room, the windows were being held close by string). The second room we stayed I. Had exposed wires right beside the shower head which you need to adjust to control the hot water. This is a huge health and safety risk and is quite frankly life threateningly dangerous. I received an electrical shock on my first day and luckily it wasn’t anything worst than that (see picture of the hazard). There was also high levels of mould in the bathroom. We wouldn’t stay they’re again which is a shame as the staff were so great and friendly. If your looking for a good location and don’t mind paying the price for this, then be careful.
