We stayed at Wasini back in Dec 2015.
The apartment was clean, the staff was cordial, management staff was outstanding, even the cleaning crew was great!.
Faith at reception desk welcomed us warmly and was very responsive to our requests!!!
She is very good at what she does!!!
The cleaning crew picked after my kids and took very good care of our belongings. My kids left expensive electronics all over the place. The staff picked up and brought the abandoned items back to my apartment every time.
My vehicle was washed every AM even when it was not dirty. Items left in the vehicle were left undisturbed!
The restaurant manager made sure that our meals were prepared perfectly to our specifications.
I will definitely return to this place!!! I will definitely recommend this place to my friends!!!
Wasini Staff and Crew, see again in May.
Cheers!

I stayed 10 days for business purpose in Wasini Luxury home and I have a shared opinion on this place. Personnel is friendly but not always willing to serve you in your room (hard to have breakfast in the room). The mattress destroyed my back and the very quiet night ambiance of the building was disturbed by a continuous alternative buzz. Internet is ok.
I did not find the food of very high quality and the buffet breakfast a little bit poor: last two days the hotel was running out of bacon and marmalade.
On positive side the hotel is well located and again personnel very friendly.

Having decided to book to stay here for a Month - they requested for my credit card details to confirm my booking. Since I was planning to stay here for a month, I decided to go ahead and provide this information.

A week later I realised that my credit card was being user around Nairobi and I have not even landed in Nairobi! The only source of my credit card details and identity being stolen was Wasini in Nairobi and the owner or their staff decided to steal my identify and started using my card details. This is now a bank and police case - but wow, how wrong was I to trust this location even after the reviews focusing on theft at this property.

Having informed the manager - Francis (who no doubt will reply to this message to save his bacon), as a matter of priority has decided to do nothing and only answer to questions if the police contacts him or the hotel. When asked what steps he and Wasini or Trianum would take so that I can still consider staying there - they decided to ignore my email and chose not to respond. This includes the Finance Manager, the co-owner of Trianum and the Management of Wasini.

No clean indication on how they would help or investigate such a high level breach of a customer privacy and data protection. Their process of requesting credit card details and the methods used clearly identify that you would not be protected staying with them. The method of data protection applied by Wasini and Trianum also clearly identify that your data is not safe.

This was meant to be a comfortable stay for us - but instead we are glad this incident has made us change out mind. Ensure you are aware that if you do decide to stay here - you may loose your belongings or fraud and identity theft could possibly take place. In any circumstance do not provide them with your credit card or payment details with ensuring safety.

Wish anyone luck if you still decide to stay here. I am sure the staff and service is great - but you protection is utmost important.

the rooms were spacious as we stayed in a 2 bedroom suite apt. No complaints except the phone in the room didn't work well, the shower was cold until we had maintenance come twice for hot water and they never provided enough towels so we had to call each day for extra towels. Otherwise I can recommend it.

I can get sad when I think on this hotel. They are owning a jewel and seem not to know what kind of unique hotel they have.
Its unique because it is so different from all the other business hotels in Nairobi. It looks ike vacation, which you expect normally in Watamu or Malindi. We have been amazed by the beauty when we booked and jubilated when we saw it "live" bz checking in.
But the disappointments came faster than we could imagine.
The food is not only bad, its almost a desaster. it is far away from international standard and so i only can recommend. Please take the breakfast somewhere else, if its possible. We tried also to eat lunch which was a big mistake. Onlz one word/ Not enjoyable!!!
We complained several times and they promised to change. At the next day we found it like it was before. Very diappointing!!!
Another annoying fact was the condition of swimming pool. it was not in use, "because it rained the day before" . Then they tried to clean it what took also hours. After five days we didnot spend one day in this pool. Like I said . They are wasting a jewel, because the service is more than poor. Improve yourself and we surely come back.
because this hotel is able to offer their guests a lot. Very nice rooms, free WIFI, International TV programms and a nice atmosphere.

The stay in Wasini was moderate. Large rooms but with a feel of gloom and boredom. Food was OK. Comfort while travelling doesn't come only from large room, cushions, large sofas and kitchen facilities. Most important is the feeling of dafter. Every minute felt like we were going to face something bad. In addition, the safe in the room was not really safe as I had forgotten to pick up my black speak leather wallet full of cards but little money when we left as it was not visible on the black interior. When I remembered, called and enquirer but it has disappeared into thin air. Wasini promises that they check the room and the safe every time when the client vacate and keep stuff left behind safely to return to the owner. However, when we took the room we found a pair of very expensive runner shoes left behind the curtains which we took to the front desk. Hope the owner got it. Well, in my case it was not so. Who ever took it kept it :( I have lost many of my cards and I am sure every one knows how painful it is to replace them... Was a sad trip to Nairobi Wasini Suites...

Dear Roospee Thank you for your feedback about your recent stay at Wasini All Suites . We have noted your comments about your room preference and we regret that we missed an opportunity to ensure that you were allocated the desired room size. As mentioned on a separate email we are very sorry about your loss and its unfortunate we could not trace the card holder/wallet at the time of your check out and sadly our subsequent searches have yielded nothing yet. Please be assured that we are still conducting investigations into this issue and we will be getting back to you. We sincerely appreciate your taking time to write a review about Wasini and we surely hope you will find a reason to return in future and give us an opportunity to redeem ourselves. Kind regards Francis Kirigi

Our family stayed here for 3 weeks in January and had a wonderful experience. The staff was so kind and helpful. They really made my two kids (ages 8 and 10) feel special. The food was fantastic and the pool and weight room were clean, well-managed and made the stay fun. Wasini has a relationship with a wonderful team of drivers. Jackson especially made us feel safe and welcome as he taxied us around the city. We highly recommend Wasini and will stay here again.

Very comfortable, secure, and well-maintained. Lovely staff. Beautiful pool and poolside area. Quality equipment (cardio and weights) in the gym. Nice food in the restaurant, and there's a fireplace in the bar area. Furniture is tasteful and sturdy. Responsive service and immediate repairs on anything in the apartment if needed. If you need a place that is 100% quiet all the time, note that you might hear some noise from construction or people sitting in the courtyard, but neither have bothered me. Nothing at all to complain about!

I recently stayed at Wasini while on a 3 days business trip in NBO. It was recommended to me by a friend, so I just followed the recommendation without any further enquiry. I have to say, this turned out to be the best experience I ever had on my business trips so far. This was not your usual soulless business hotel, but rather a charming serviced apartment. lodge, beautifully decorated, with wonderfully refurbished rooms, a cozy terrasse, restaurant /bar with open fire, pool and state-of-the-art newly refurbished fitness center. This was still topped by the friendliest host and most efficient staff ever. Valentina and her team made me feel home from the moment I arrived. I will definetly be returning there again and again when in Nairobi, business or other.
