At Pyramids View Inn, many guests are captivated by the hotel's prime location, offering stunning proximity to the Pyramids and views that are highly praised. While the service garners accolades for the staff's dedication to comfort and satisfaction, opinions on the rooms vary; some find them clean and comfortable with breathtaking views, yet others describe them as basic and occasionally not as advertised. The amenities and atmosphere are appreciated, particularly the picturesque terrace, though there are mentions of some amenities being absent. Cleanliness is generally well-regarded, with a few suggestions for improvement. Overall, the hotel is considered a great value due to its affordable pricing and convenient location.

Loved this small hotel located across from the Pyramids of Giza. The location is excellent with views of the pyramids and a great rooftop restaurant and sitting area where you can take in the light show on the pyramids at night. The rooms are cozy with very comfy beds. The hot water heater has to be "charged" or powered on for 20 minutes before a hot shower, but otherwise the bathroom was very stocked with toilet paper, shampoo, etc. The breakfast consisted of falafel, boiled eggs, fruit, breads, cheeses, and tea/coffee. It was excellent! By far the highlight of this hotel is the friendly staff (Kamal and staff) that helped arrange shuttle service the airport, tickets for the pyramids, and even shared some of their traditional Egyptian food with me.

the view, a balcony, very friendly accommodating staff: Kamal will procure whatever you want or need. It is clean, internet, giant egyptian breakfasts on the roof, room service if you want it, safe, oh and the view...
the light show can be loud and very dated, and yes, there are dogs that may bark but those things are beyond the control of the Inn....

We booked our holiday to Egypt 9 months ago and with the covid threatening travellers. I was worried at first with Covid, but Thankfully i have been to this hotel before and managed to get in touch with Kamal, who informed me and assured me that we will be safe.
We were 4 x families, 20 of us. Communications were Excellent from Kamal, who kept me updated throughout, Airport pickup and drop off. Very good rates for room. The B & B has had a upgrade since my last visit, it looks wonderful, much much better.
The rooms are beautiful, spacious and clean, Does not feel like you are in a B & B. The feeling is of a hotel. The entrance to Pyramid is seconds away, opposite this B&B. They have a KFC, Pizza hut, Kebab shop nearby. My family wanted a mcdonalds and a indian the next day, all we did is just ask Kamal, who has all restaurant numbers on his phone, and pay a tiny amount for a deliveroo/uber eats style service. Excellent service
The rooftop view as obvious is Superb. But i would like to thank every staff that works in this hotel.

Kamal is always Amazing as usual, a very loyal and reliable and friendly person who goes above and beyond to help,
Hany has been very helpful, guiding us and picking us up from airport, a nice man indeed.
Their are 3 young boys who i have to thank, Especially Yousuf, so hardworking. They all help out in the hotel and have been super helpful and friendly to my family.
A massive thanks to everyone involved with this hotel, The lovely man that made breakfast (pictured).
I highly recommend

The inn had a great view of the Giza pyramids, esp when you go up to the roof top to have your meals. The room was clean. The inn keepers and staff were friendly.

HOWEVER, be cautious of the reservation/listing. It was suppose to be family of 4 for $80/night. When we checked in, they made us take 2 rooms at $80/room. We also ended up with a 5th person, so they actually made us take 3 rooms, even though it was suppose to be a room of 4 family members and 1 extra. We were tired, hot and already wary of any more interactions, we weren't sure who to trust and if worth arguing so late in the evening, that we just checked in, hoping it would be resolved in the morning. (later, after talking to the front desk and even emailing the owner- it was completely ignored).

Air conditioning- did not work properly and couldn't even cool down the rooms. Despite asking the front desk to fix it or show us how to use the remote, (she couldn't figure it out and told us it will cool down)... that by the middle of the night, we all ended up squeezing in one of the room to sleep together as it was the "coolest' of all 3 rooms. So basically we didn't use the other 2 rooms (and one room was in the back where it was not facing the direct sun.. and it still didn't cool down).

All in all, great view, location & friendly staff BUT owner did not follow through on the reservation price and we were ripped off.

Apologies for the extremely overdue review, we stayed here in January 2020.

We had incredible pyramid views from both our bed and our balcony in room 501. Add the experience of eating breakfast on the rooftop terrace, and we can't imagine there's a better place to stay in Giza if you're after a great location and views. But what makes this hotel truly outstanding is the staff.

After we had checked out we realised that we were missing our treasured stuffed-monkey travelling buddy. It turned out he was taken by one of the employees of our guide - not related to the hotel, but we initially went back to the hotel in the hope we had lost him in the area. We were pretty upset, and the staff were all amazing. They spent 2 hours with us combing through security footage, and even called their cleaning ladies back in late at night to see if they remembered seeing the monkey during their rounds. The next day they helped mobilize the neighbourhood to help with our search. When we eventually recovered the monkey they were just as happy as we were, and as we left they gifted us with some excellent Egyptian souvenirs.

In summary, stay at the Pyramids View Inn if you want to experience superb views of the Giza Plateau as well as meet some incredibly nice and genuine people. It's a family run business, and it's clear that the staff really care about their guests and their hotel. Sammy especially is an Egyptian treasure. We'll never forget the kindness we were shown here.

If you are looking for the best view of the 3 pyramids and the sphinx this is the place.
Been 2 times already and I left the place completely satisfied.
The staff of the hotel is very friendly and very efficient.
Starting with Kamal the person who’s in charge of the hotel. Whatever do you need this kind gentleman will get it for you. Very sweet and kind person.
They offer you very good breakfast and a list of tours. I been taking all the tours they offer. The guide tour is excellent (hamel) and the driver (mohamed is the best driver you can get in all Egypt.
The ladies who does the cleaning in the bedroom are completely trusted people.
I rent the suite in top roof with balcony. It’s amazing the view. You can get you succulent dinner sitting in the balcony watching the light show absolutely for free(show)
Piramid view is the hotel I always come back.
For me it’s perfect in everything

We had such a wonderful time at the pyramids view on. The staff were super friendly especially Kamal n Asma.
They went out their way to make sure that we were comfortable including letting us know the nearest eating places yet they also had a menu of their own, gave us people to take us to the places we wanted to go to so tha people would not take advantage of us...to mention but a few things. And something else worth mentioning is that the place was really clean. We will definitely recommend this place to everyone we know who will be visiting.

We stayed here in June and had an overall great time. This inn has arguably some of the best views of the Pyramids and the Sphinx. It's also perfectly located to watch the light show. All of the staff were very nice. We received a free airport pick up with our stay and the driver was kind and professional. We received free breakfast with an incredible rooftop view. The chef was warm and jolly. I can't recall her name, but there is a very nice woman from Switzerland who works there and she always offered us free tea while we sat on the rooftop. Kamal was also very nice and gave us a late check-out.

The location is very loud, the internet didn't work well in our room (we were kind of far from the modem) and the rooms are very basic. This is why we didn't rate it 5 stars all around.

AMAZING little hotel situated across the street from the Giza Necropolis (Sphinx/Pyramids). This was the perfect home for 5 days. It is perfectly situated and the service was phenomenal. Our room was the perfect size for 2 people. There are no fancy frills, but it was very clean and the view couldn’t be better. We got a room with a balcony and we were able to watch the sunrise and sunset over the pyramids every day. The view from the rooftop is even better. You can even watch the light show from the rooftop without having to pay extra and be in the midst of crowds. It was a good immersive experience, with enough local/touristy mix and the price was super fair for such fantastic view. Next time we’re in Cairo, we will sure try to stay again. They also offer assistance with book private tours at very reasonable prices and you’ll be be great hands and safe during your outing. This hotel is a little oasis in the middle of the chaos that Cairo can be.

Location, location, location. It is very difficult to say anything negative about a place which affords the view of the Sphinx and the most famous landmarks on earth, right out your bedroom window. What’s the point of staying here and not have this view, besides the 5 second walk to the entrance, I wouldn’t know. It’s a small, somewhat labyrinth 3 storey building with the open air “restaurant “ on the roof. Our room was nice and clean and prepared for us, hours ahead of check in, while we waited, which was greatly appreciated. Upon the easy check in, the clerk informed us the previous visitors had just left and we could move in momentarily. True to word we were led to drop off our baggage while the staff were in the midst of the change over. Staff were exceedingly helpful, especially the youngsters who possess the best English skills and can make things happen in a hurry. Wifi was sketchy and the menu for breakfast/lunch average. Make no mistake this is all about the pyramids, you are so close you can almost touch them, across the loud street, full of horses, dogs, horse drawn carriages, tourists, vendors and a mass of locals hunting for your vacation dollars. Enjoy the light show from your room or rooftop. Great jump off point for Saqqara and other points of interest.
