My husband and I recently stayed here for 4 nights. We arrived around 10pm and were a bit unsure about the location, but follow the murals and you will find it. It’s located right next to the pyramids and takes 2 minutes to walk to the ticket entrance. Mohammed met us and upgraded our room to have a view. The room was cozy, but it was cold at night since there is no heat. However, the bedding kept us warm and the bed was comfortable (hard, but I prefer that). Great hot water, hairdryer upon request, and towels. Similar to a hostel feel. We are backpackers and don’t need much to keep us happy. The rooftop terrace is AMAZING! You can see the light show for free and hang out anytime. Mohammed ordered us food even though it was late and made us hot mint tea. He makes a delicious Egyptian breakfast every morning whenever you need it and tea as much as you’d like. Mint, lemon, and clove teas! The food we ordered was actually better than the two restaurants we tried nearby. The staff were polite and friendly. We felt very safe, although the alley can be unnerving at times with kids trying to get money from you. Just walk fast and keep conversation light. You’ll have a great stay here! Mohammed gave us some spices as a parting gift! I’ve never experienced this level of service and care at a hotel. Bring earplugs because you can hear chickens, dogs, kids, and the call to prayer. We loved the stay and highly recommend Pyramids Guest House!!

This a great value with a convenient location. Rooftop patio is a great relaxing breezy place to unwind after a long day in the heat exploring. It has the absolute best sunset views of the pyramids complex and free viewing of the nightly sound and light show at the Sphinx. Staff was polite and extremely helpful. Breakfast was a great start for a day on the run. We had two rooms for a family of four. Both rooms were super clean and comfortable. The a/c worked fabulously. The short walk along the back streets to and from the guest house gives a glimpse into the everyday lives of those who serve the Giza tourist industry. Everyone we met along these streets was welcoming and we always felt safe and at ease.

My stay here was amazing, the staff are so friendly and kind, best view in Cairo, you can see the pyramids and sphinx and nightly light show from the roof. Great breakfast every morning, they will serve it when you choose. Muhammad at the reception is very kind and will help you find what ever you need. He introduced me to Halla aka Sugar Queen who I did four tours with; Pyramids, Cairo churches and mosques, Alexandria and Faiyum Oasis. Halla is the best tour guide, she is smart, funny and very friendly. She will teach you all the history of each spot and show you things no one else knows. She is a blast to be around and will help you see what ever you want, she never rushes you and has an impressive knowledge of all the history. Ibrahim was our driver, he is funny and kind and might be the best driver in Cairo. If you come to Cairo this is the place to stay and Halla is the guide you need. They made my trip exceed all expectations.

This is the place that you have to stay without question, don’t let the cheap price make you think that this place is not good. The place is clean, has hot water and warm blankets. Definitely the best part is the view, you have such an amazing view from the rooftop it is even closer to the pyramids and the entrance itself. 11/10 you need to stay here and I will be coming back.

Very clean atmosphere, hotel and rooms. The view is amazing.
They have very good tea, breakfast and dinner.
I didn’t meet in my life such amazing people, hospitality, friendly and safe atmosphere.
The only bad issue is the surrounding areas they are dirty and not as normal road .
It’s not easy to find such hotel in this area.

We spent 2 days there and it was awesome☺️ it was hard to find the hotel though. We arrived in Giza at night so it was more harder to find the hotel. Eventually we just called there and personal from the hotel picked us up.
Breakfast was so good, especially with this view 😍
I do recommend this place. It’s worth it.

So this place is definitely NOT the easiest to find - the taxi can only get so close before you’ll have to walk the rest of the way down a narrow sandy track, but it is 1000% worth it! It’s the closest hotel to the pyramids and from the roof terrace, you have a completely unobstructed view of them all. In the evenings, you can sit on the terrace with a drink and watch the ‘Sound and Light Show’ without having to buy a ticket.
The rooms are small but comfortable - and we could see the pyramids from the bed! Bathrooms are en-suite wet rooms.
Breakfast was simple but a perfect way to start the day and all the staff were amazing. Special thanks to Adem for carrying all our bags downstairs and out to the Uber in the middle of the night! There’s no elevator/lift so be prepared to walk up and down a lot of stairs.
It’s not the quietest place (bring earplugs if you need silence to sleep at night) but the roof terrace and the view alone is worth every single penny - and really, given the price, this place is a steal.

I loved everything about this budget accommodation!
The price for the service you receive is amazing. From the minute you walk in you will feel right at home.
The complimentary breakfast was great and definitely enough to keep you full while exploring the surrounding attractions.
The view from the rooftop is breathtaking! We also booked a private tour through the hotel and it was absolutely amazing!
