A good comfortable hotel down a back street in Giza and handy to lots things. The area and hotel is older but my room was clean and tidy and the staff were welcoming and quick to rectify the one problem I had.

I didn’t use the hotel car service. I prebooked an airport transfer from Emo tours for $16 to Santana hotel. However, I found out that uber is widely available in Cairo and on th way back to the airport I used uber and while the driver didn’t speak English the ride was quick, efficient and CHEAP. Transfer back to the airport was $105 EGP which is about $6 USD. Tip you driver in cash and you’ll still come out well ahead.
