The place is lovely. Small studio apartments. Inside parking, clean rooms. Very safe. Quite overpriced though, but for Kinshasa standards it’s OK. I spent a month here. Bit noisy cause of the cleaners and the constructions and renovations around.
Good place, clean, friendly, safe. You have your own kitchen so you can cook. Payments in cash for the time being, no credit card machine yet. It has a pool you can use, and it is near three supermarkets. No breakfast, but the guards can fetch you something. Next to collegue Boboto for reference. I will come back next time in Kin.
I traveled to Kinshasa multiple times in 2015 and 2016. Sunny Day's staff is exceptional. They're airport pick up and drop off service is great. The location is central with shops within walking distance or the hotel will arrange a driver. The rooms are studio style with bed, desk, dining table and kitchenettes. I enjoyed the courtyard area. The pool is refreshing and well kept.
I have stayed here for 12 days in September 2015 and I can really recommend it. It is safe, clean and has a pleasant atmosphere. The staff have been kind and helpful. Prices are very high in Kinshasa (much more than in Europe), so by Kinshasa standards I think you get good value for money.
I stayed here with my family for 12 days during July of 2013. I felt extremely safe during my stay, both because of the wall and carefully manned gate and because of the staff, who were constantly looking out for us. The room was very comfortable, thanks to hot water, air conditioning, and TV (with some English channels!). Having a kitchenette and any supplies we needed was very convenient. The grounds are kept absolutely immaculate, and that includes the pool. The staff was charming and extremely helpful. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.
