The location could not be better, convenient for touring the city and only 15-minutes from the airport. The hotel sits on its own island and water taxis takes guests across the bay to the Avenues Mall with plentiful dining options. The hotel's own restaurants are excellent, even though the two by Wolfgang Puck perhaps a notch down from what he has in the States.

Our room was gorgeous with a view over the city and the sea, black Carrara marble, lacquered wood-panelling, and a Hermès bedspread. There is ample storage and an illy coffee maker for convenience. No need to bring adapters as all are universal.

Everyone from the front desk to the concierge (kudos to Ali) to housekeeping provided impeccable service with meticulous attention to detail.

This is our 2nd stay at the Four Seasons and we love it. We even checked out of The Ritz early and moved here because it didn’t compare. The rooms (can only comment on suites) are beautiful, spacious, light and airy and well equipped and thought out. The service is excellent, nothing is too much of an ask and as standard they will go above and beyond helping with anything. All the restaurant staff are friendly, professional and available. Every restaurant we’ve eaten at has delicious food and plenty of options on the menu. Cut in particular is just amazing! The beach/pool bar team are fabulous. They’re available to help as soon as you arrive, water in an iced cool bag is standard so you’re refreshed and hydrated. Food and drinks are brilliant, super tasty and also served properly, not in plastic containers which I hate as it’s so wasteful. It just has an all round great feel to it, modern and intimate despite its size. I also had a facial the first time we stayed and it was so lovely and relaxing. Overall it’s a cut above the rest for similar prices to some other hotels in Bahrain!

I didn’t stay in this hotel but wanted to try their spa since I heard lots of good reviews. I booked 2 hours ( 1 aroma massage & 1 facial) they told me that i can come early to use their facility, i arrived 1 hour before the place is amazing very luxurious the towels , robe , lockers, everything. I changed then I entered the pink Himalayas salt hot room for inhaling . I stayed 20 min really felt clean air and relaxing 😌 then the jacuzzi then the cold water shower . I waited my therapist in the waiting area there was 3 kids of tea and the worker told me that its fresh they cut the lemongrass daily, you can tell from the smell and taste. The massage was amazing 🤩 and worth every fils thanks to YOKEN my therapist the oil amazing smell the pressure the techniques everything is sooo professional. Then I transferred to other room for the facial with TEITEN therapist she was really professional and knows what she is doing the products, the smell , the equipments i felt i am at clinic with relaxing atmosphere. Their products i forget the name but its really good 😊. Till second day my face was glowing . The only thing that really wasn’t right that there is people having their mobiles in the waiting area which it should be quite. The spa should put sign no phones allowed this area . Everything was amazing. It’s expensive but really worth it i Dont mind traveling monthly for these 2 hours.
Please what is the name of the products they used 🙈

I cannot rave enough about this hotel and its service. While it’s a huge property they treat you like a boutique hotel would, very attentive and helpful. The rooms themselves are beautifully done, black marble bathrooms and the larger suites have closets for miles. I’ve done a couple of weekend staycations here and it always feels like I’ve escaped miles away, refreshed and come back new. And the food here! Cut by Wolfgang Puck and reasian have just phenomenal food- you can’t ever get bookings because of how popular they are.

The pool area has lovely slides for kids and gets quite busy on weekends with families. The lobby is also lovely to visit even if you’re not staying here just for a coffee.

Truly Bahrain’s stellar hotel, we are lucky to have them here.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at the hotel. I like how they stressed the importance of health and safety by providing a covid-19 kit. I find it cute that they provide baby bathrobe, slip ons and hygienic kits for our little Olivia. They even wrote a welcome note on the mirror, that is just a cute gesture. I like how they serve their food it was stored in a warmer to enjoy more your food.👍

Just returned from a weeks stay at the Four Seasons Bahrain. We booked a Deluxe Suite, which was lovely - very spacious, well designed and benefited from a huge walk in wardrobe.

The staff at the hotel’s two Wolfgang Puck restaurants/lounges were exceptional - Krystal, Ibrahim, Sanjay, Anita, Josephine and the rest of their colleagues all worked fantastically hard to ensure that we were well looked after and made to feel very special. They did a brilliant job of delivering a five star experience, and we massively appreciated all the extra effort they went to. The service we received from them was the highlight of our visit.

Similarly, the staff at the hotel’s (enormous) Spa and Azure swimming pool were extremely warm and attentive and really enhanced our experience.

It’s worth pointing out that guests who are planning to use the family swimming pool or beach area, will unfortunately be facing an enormous building site across the bay. The sheer size and scale of the construction work really does spoil the view sadly, but we were glad to be able to use the adults only Azure swimming pool instead, which is beautiful and unaffected by any construction work.

Our only real criticism of the hotel is its inflexible breakfast arrangements. The hotel doesn’t offer a breakfast menu at the swimming pool, which is pretty standard in other hotels at this level. Instead breakfast is (strictly!) served at one of the hotel restaurants.

On one morning we tried to purchase some breakfast pastries from the restaurant which we planned to take away and eat by the swimming pool. We arrived at 10:45am but were told we could not enter the restaurant to buy pastries because the breakfast service ends at 11:00am. Bizarrely, the member of staff also told us that they do not allow people to take food out of the restaurant anyway.

We did raise this issue with a member of the management team, who just seemed to confirm that yes this was the hotel’s breakfast policy. All very strange, and a missed opportunity for him turn a negative experience into a positive one.

When guests are paying Four Seasons prices, it shouldn’t be impossible for them to enjoy breakfast in a location of their choice, so I hope that management makes improvements in this area and encourage staff to demonstrate flexibility and accommodate (pretty basic) guest requests instead of simply telling them ‘no’.

We stayed for two nights to celebrate the birthday of my daughter. It is my first time to stay in this hotel but I've tried all the restaurants several times before. Prior to arrival, I was in touch with the hotel via emails to arrange a few items for my daughter's birthday. I have to say that the communication with the hotel was great and they reply to my emails and inquiries very fast. In any case, on arrival the check-in process was smooth. We stayed in a suite which was very nice. Very clean, luxurious, and spacious in keeping with the tradition of the Four Seasons. The room has all the amenities that you would expect. The location is great. You can go to the Avenues via a water taxi (not sure if it is working when we stayed). We enjoyed the outdoor and indoor swimming pools. We stayed during the Coronavirus period so there are some restrictions on groups .. etc. I am a bit disappointed by the cake which I ordered for my daughter .. it was of poor quality, in terms of execution and design of my idea of the birthday theme. Although it was a fruit cake but seems the fruits were not fresh. Probably done by a very junior chef. My daughter and wife were not impressed by it. The other issue is the breakfast. They have American, Bahraini, and other types of breakfasts. Now, the Bahraini breakfast has nothing to do with our culture except the "Balalet". It contains Foul which is not part of Bahraini breakfast, some olives, and Halloumi cheese (I think). A hotel with this caliber will have top chefs. Hence, the chefs should make an effort to see what the local people eat at breakfast. One suggestion is to check the Bahraini breakfast at Cafe Delice at the Gulf Hotel. The final point, during check-out the gentleman at the front desk didn't bother to ask about how do we feel about our stay in general. But overall, a very nice luxurious hotel with very good service. Appreciate giving us extending check-out till 2 pm. If I compare it to the Ritz Carlton in Bahrain then I will give the Four Seasons 3* compared to 5* for the Ritz Carlton, all based on the quality of the service and attention to details. I would love to stay again to see if there are improvements compared to this stay.

The Hotel itself is good, not far (15-20 minutes from Airport), but there is not enough front desk staff & what staff there is, is not very welcoming or helpful. Takes several minutes to wait just to ask a question, some staff members appear to be irritated when asked a question, there is no concierge present most of the time. All in All VERY BAD FRONT DESK experience.

Breakfast is good with huge variety. Rooms are very nice & clean. Location is good, built on a beautiful artificial Island & shopping/dining just a boat ride away which cost 1 dinar one way. City Center & other Malls also 15-20 minutes, use Uber to go around, much cheaper than Taxi.

Outstanding hotel.
Rooms are large, extremely well and thoughtfully designed/appointed for the modern traveler or businessman or family. Bathrooms are great, with plenty of amenities including Hermes bath products. Bedding is soft/ supportive and cozy.
Service is personal yet professional from front desk to room service to spa.
Plenty of amenities to utilize during your stay here. Personal favorite was the Azure adults only pool.
The Spa is a must, my 90min signature Oud Massage was pheromonal and the spa facilities are huge and clean.
For the region and for a Four Seasons, I would say fantastic value and great experience that cannot be beat.

Outside the hotel is actually rather ugly. The suites however are an Art Deco revelation. We stayed 2 nights and were upgraded from room to suite. Really stunning in every way.

The service was attentive without being overattentive.

The facilities are great - the water park and slides are wonderful but there is also an adults only outside pool (in a beautiful calm setting) and indoor pool.

The facilities, room sizes and decor definitely put it in a class above the Ritz-Carlton.

There is a beach but the nearby building sites do not really add much to the atmosphere.

BUT the windows were filthy so what would have been amazing views from our suite were disappointing.

Another BUT - the F&B prices are eyewateringly high and really unjustifiable.

But I would return for a stay (just sneak in your own bottle of gin)

No. We didn't use the babysitting services at the Four Season, Bahrain Bay. However, every service the hotel offered was thoroughly professional and thought through which would give confidence in the thought that this area, too, would be handled well.
