Stayed here around 60 nights. Really liked the extent of customer service - staff will go out of the way to provide best service and be super professional. Amenities are great. During my time construction was going on in the neighboring area that got a bit loud during the day.
I have stayed in over 100 properties worldwide and I have experienced a variety of luxury hotels but I have never had the heartfelt experience I had at JW Marriott Riyadh. Although the facilities, amenities and services were luxurious and best in class, what makes this hotel unique is their people, their genuinely empathetic and welcoming team. Every single member of their team was genuine, smiling and always eager to help, even when I didn’t need it. They all practiced self introduction and showed genuine empathy and aimed at providing a great experience. I haven’t had the pleasure to get to know all the staff but I would like to mention the great hospitality of AbdulMajeed, Awatef, Ivo, Muhannad, Talal, AbdulRahman, Yazeed, Bilal, Phillip and Juan. Thank you for making my stay at JW Marriott Riyadh a rewarding experience.…
We had pleasant stays at this property, thanks to Abdullah Alhamawi for the room upgrade and special preparations made ahead of our arrival as we were celebrating an occasion. However, the local guy at the cafe shop may need more training. He need to be welcoming, smile at guests or at least response when guests are talking to him. The other issue was that the refund of the remaining amount after checking out, they have not issue that regardless of the number of calls and emails. It was released by the bank after 40 days.
I stayed in the Burj Rafal, JW Marriott during almost a month and I felt like home. My stay was great and enjoyed it very much and despite some renovations were going on, I did not suffer any inconvenience or noise. All the associates were very attentive; however, I need to highlight the great experience provided during every breakfast by Usman and Chef Mikko. Both are assets and extremely accommodating. An always smiley Filipino Laundry attendant took care of clothes throughout the stay an extremely attentive manner. Upon departure, Nawaf recognized me and thanked me for my loyalty and made me feel very special. I definitively recommend staying at the Burj Rafal and it’s my first choice when visiting Riyadh.
The Burj Rafal was amazing. Although there were renovations happening on site, it did not alter our experience at all. Even though the lounge was closed we could still get snacks and premium drinks in the lobby or delivered to our room. Right away my Elite status was recognized and they sent fruits and snacks to the room. I used my suite night rewards here and my request was approved within minutes. My suite had beautiful views of Riyadh and was comfortable and clean. There was a full kitchen and even laundry in the 3 bedroom suite. Next time I visit here I will definitely bring my whole family. The location is super convenient being right on the main highway, making it easy to drive to all attractions as well as back to the airport. There is also parking available on site. The staff was all very welcoming and accommodating. Soon this hotel will become a JW property and they are currently finishing the conversion. I am so excited to visit again.…
While there was some construction and minor renewal while I was there, but they managed it professionally. The place is nice, room is clean, everyone is supportive and friendly, starting from the reception and cleaning to restaurant team (Specially Osman and Meko). I believe once they finish the construction work, the place will be in a different level.
Solid business hotel. Good location close to the airport . High floor with nice views . Great bed. Under renovation which is a shame . Mark and Christian in the hotel lobby restaurant were particularly helpful . Will return !
It was a great place to stay during our quarantine days. The ambiance, the food, the staff are very friendly and accommodating specially the breakfast buffet staff to chef Mikko, Efren and the rest of the staff. Thank you. Highly recommended.
This is a very good hotel in Riyadh and excellent things cover up a few minor problems. First is the professionalism and friendliness of all staff starting from the reception, concierge, room attendants, spa and gym staff and most specially the all Filipino staff on breakfast buffet, Check Mico, Jerry & others. They are very corteous and helpful as well. The city view is gorgeous specially at night overlooking the King Fahd road and we stayed on the 20th floor. My 2 daughters loved their comfortable bed and enjoyed the regularly cleaned outdoor swimming pool. Me and wife regularly go to gym at night and it is well maintained. There is still a bit of attention they need to upgrade and that is the toilet water is overflowing from the shower area to toilet floor so we need to put towels in order not to wet the carpet of the room. The wash basin smells drainage and sometimes the water is not going down the drain. Overall, this is an excellent hotel and we will definitely be back once they are fully operation somewhere between Nov to Dec 2021. Ciao!…
I usually okay with any Marriott hotels. They were not particularly wow, but it was always clean and comfortable. However, this Marriott hotel was absolutely not up to the Marriott standard. The design of this so-called Executive Room just show that one didn't put in any thinking at all. Renovation excuses? Then it could charge an unreasonable price for horrible room finishing and maintenance? The pics said a thousand words. Nothing more needed to say.
