We stayed at the raflles with my family and we had a great time. The hotel is super clean the staff is attentive.
The location is excellent. The only thing i would change is more variety at the breakfast buffet. Other than that we will definitely stay there again.I want to command a few employees for going over and beyond: Shaile Sajitt Shareef and Adil they both dis an awesome job cleaning our room every day. Also Moribeen (not sure of the spelling) in the breakfast biffet was great. Mohammed was also great he helped us with our luggage.
Thank you all for making our trip pleasant.

Raffles Makkah palace is for every type of stay, whether you travel solo or as a family. The rooms are massive and very spacious. There are rooms with a Haram view , however when we went there , none were available but the view of the haram entrance was still breathtaking.

In each room is a speaker joined to the haram mic so all 5 salaahs can be heard loud and clear. The rooms are extremely clean and the Bathrooms are even better.

The staff are accommodating and helpful. They are available 24/7 and will help you with whatever problems you have.

The breakfast buffet has a wide selection of foods and cuisine types. There were many healthy options as well, which is rarely seen in a breakfast buffet. Everything is so fresh and it’s one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve experienced

As for the location:
The Haram is literally a few steps away, there is a mall that joins to the hotel and a Prayer room in the hotel as well, with a full view of the haram from the top. There is one for ladies and Men.

Thank you to the staff of Raffles Makkah Palace for making this stay one to remember!

I have been blessed enough to come to Makkah on numerous occasions this was the first time I stayed at the Raffles I think it’s due to the price is slightly higher than the other 5 * hotels here and I thought how different can it be
WRONG! This hotel is much much more these guys are out there to be the best everyone at the Raffles will go the extra mile to make sure you are satisfied and happy.

The reception staff are welcoming.

All the rooms are Suites with separate living room.

The creamery restaurant has outside terrace so you can enjoy your meal overlooking the Haram.

The hotel prayer room also has outside terrace carpeted so you can pray overlooking the Haram.

The Spa is absolutely AMAZING with sauna and steam rooms.

Breakfast at the Al Qasar restaurant has loads of variety and is of high standards.

You have a personal butler service

The house keeping is of excellent standards your suite is cleaned daily they even fold your clothing which I left on the sofa I mean everything is replaced back to where it should be .

They have allocated lifts for the hotel to the shopping centre below which make it quicker to get to and from the Haram .

There os so much more I can say but I got to stop somewhere so

Finally if you are in two minds about booking the Raffles or not don’t hesitate because truly you will not regret it .

Dear Raffles Makkah Palace

There are too many people by name that I want to say thank you for your hospitality for your kindness
and for making mine and wife’s stay absolutely amazing . May Allah reward you all immensely for all your efforts.

Hope to see you all in the near future

Insha’Allah

I have spent the last two nights here at Raffles Makkah Palace. Originally I started off by bookings 1 night through the Duty Manager, Mr Esam Nahyat. I called early morning to find out availability and to understand if they would accommodate an early check-in. I spoke to the Duty Manager, Mr Esam, and that’s when all the magic began. Mr Esam agreed to an early check-in and provide us with a Signature Suite Kaaba View Premier room. Upon arrival at the hotel, I was swiftly met by the second amazing person from Raffles, Mr Saber Al Misri. Mr Saber knew us by name and gave us a very warm welcome.

The check-in process was seamless and again Mr Esam was very professional and kind.

The room was absolutely fantastic, best views of the Kaaba by far. I have stayed at the Clock Tower (Fairmont) many times and I can easily say the Raffles location, views and service (apologies Fairmont) is much better :)

The rooms might appear slightly more used, but it is well hidden and the quality of the materials used plus the barakah of Makkah makes the rooms still look relatively of very decent quality.

The service is wonderful, this in my opinion is the game changer by Raffles.

A special thank you to the Food Team, especially Mr Mohammed Iqbal. He really did his absolute best for us in providing very nice breakfasts and dinners and I cannot thank him enough.

I would also like to thank Mr Waseem Akram who was absolutely kind in dealing with us with various things we needed, Made us feel very very special, especially with chocolate cake for the children in our room when we came back from a trip. Mr Waseem Akram also personally walked us to the Taxi Pickup point to ensure we had a comfortable and knowledgeable experience.

The team at Raffles provided an absolutely professional, personalised and executive service. As I said before, I generally use the other hotels within the Accor Group (Fairmont, Swissotel) however going forward, I will use Raffles as our hotel of choice in Makkah, inshaa Allah ameen.

Thank you once again, Mr Esam, Mr Saber, Mr Waseem Akram, Mr Mohammed Iqbal and colleagues.

You have made our time very special here in Makkah and I hope to see you all soon again. Inshaa Allah. May you and all your families be blessed inshaa Allah ameen.

I hope you all experience the same treatment we experienced by the team. My review is reflective of my personal experience and this is dependant of an individuals own preference, expectations and perception. (Just my disclaimer) :)

Thank you
Hassanain Muthalib

Superlatives won’t do it justice. It Is AMAZING. Location is perfect , we had haram view suite - spacious rooms / bathrooms, showers to die for, especially after performing tawaf. Staff were fantastic, service instant . Breakfast superb, fresh fruit basket everyday . In our visit the Coronavirus struck & haram access became restricted but they have a masjid on p13 which has both indoor & outdoor prayer areas which was an absolute boon
Very clean, well appointed , could not have asked for more on umrah

Excellent and clean hotel. Well presented. Very helpful staff, especially Rehaam at reception in sorting out last minute room.
Surely will come back again.
Only comment is the CRUCIAL NEED for cleaning the outside windows to keep a nice view of the haram.
For me, I am really sorry to say, it was like buying a brand new car, 2020, and taking it to a test drive, with dust and mud on the front scree. It badly affected my whole haram vision, for which I paid triple the price I have booked in a next door hotel!
Not fair, is it!
Otherwise, would have been a 5 star review.

1. I booked a Signature Premier Kaaba view suite and the view was exceptional, but it may vary from a suite to another based on availability and receptionist selection.

2. The Wi-Fi speed was very slow almost not working. I complained twice to reception and once to duty manager but nothing happened.

3. The water pressure was very weak in the toilets.

4. The check-in time is very late compared to other 5 stars hotels.

5. The minibar wasn't refilled after the last guest use, so I didn't want to touch it because it may be unclean.

6. If you are a smoker, there is nowhere you can go to smoke.

7. The food is strictly not allowed from outside the hotel and the food price inside the hotel is very expensive. I had to pay more than SAR 500 for one meal.

The absulte BEST hotel in Makkah which is only a few steps from Haram.
At the recepition, we were greeted by Mr Basil Alzoiabi who was very polite and helpful.
The kaapa premier suite has the best Kaaba view and is worth the Extra money, ending with 08 in each floor.
We stayed in 608 with a super beautiful view of Kaapa, it was prepared for us by the best, most polite most helpful floor housekeeping manager Mr MOHAMMED Sayed Husain, I can not thank him enough for What he did for us. Mr MOHAMMED Sayed Husain is a great asset to any hotel chain managment staff.
Breakfast was greet.

Extraordinary wonderful experience with Raffles in junior suit with city and partial haram view
The spiritual of makkah can be felt inside the rooms as long as you can pray inside the room as well as in prayer room, specially this time with expansion construction work in al masjid al haram and very crowded during praying hours, raffles cover that and make it available to pray like you are inside al haram 🤍🤍🤍
Services among the clock and staff very polite with two times check on the room.
On the things i like that you are free to ask for house keeping so no one can disturb you by knocking the door to clean your room.
I will always make Raffles the first option for me when i do Umrah/ Hajj next times
Thanks a lot for the amazing services and thanks for Samaher staff who also help with variety of options among our stay.
The palace restaurant is wonderful as well as the creamery cafe too

First time staying with raffles brand with family members. Check was smooth and we got free drinks as an accor plus member. We booked 2 bedrooms presidential suite city view. But somehow the room was quite different from the pictures on the website. Our room at Level 1 and only have a small window, nothing to see actually compare to website pictures that have window size about floor to ceiling height. What i saw is, every room on that floor have same window, so that i don't complain and just stay there for 7 nights.

Room service was good, we have a butler will send us fruits and cakes every single day. Housekeeping was good, always ready for us anytime of the day and night. Room was big, we had one king bed and 2 single bed, I've requested one extra bed because we are 5, the extra bed was very nice and thick. The decorations was beautiful, very regal and the en-suite bathroom is the biggest I've been so far.

The hotel have a very nice spa and fitness centre, the best i have been so far.

The food was good but with limited choice, and almost pretty same menu every day. I like the karak chai and have it every single day. Other than that was mediocre.

Check out was smooth, the hotel also provide car to jeddah airport, we book Chevrolet Suburban for 650SR to jeddah airport, fit for 5 peoples and 6 luggages, very comfort and easy.

Raffles hotel sit at the very front block on Clock Tower, makes it convenient access to haram. Just a little walk and you will se the haram. No need to go out so early every time praying.

Overall, Raffles Makkah was very nice hotel to stay, but the breakfast is not worth if you pay. For us, the breakfast comes together with the room.
