The Sheraton Grand Tel Aviv garners high praise for its outstanding service, with guests consistently commending the professionalism of the staff. Its prime beachfront location and stunning sea views are beloved by many, while the contemporary atmosphere and modern amenities, including a variety of dining options and an exceptional Club Lounge, add to its allure.
Guests have called out the value of staying here, thanks to the spacious rooms and modern decor, despite some remarks about the smaller balconies and the controlled AC system. The dedication to cleanliness is evident throughout the hotel, from the rooms to the common areas.

My wife and I just got back from Israel, our first time, and loved our stay at the Sheraton Tel Aviv. We created a YouTube video on it, just search for 2022 Sheraton Tel Aviv and look for Nicole Murray Chen.
I have Marriott Platinum Elite Status and wanted to stay at a Marriott brand to get the upgrades, lounge access and breakfast. There are a handful of Marriott option in Tel Aviv but I ultimately picked this one since I saw that it was recently renovated and close by to many of the things we wanted to see - namely the beach.
The hotel is within walking distance to any of the sites that you would want to visit - Old Jaffa, Old Tel Aviv Port, Dizengoff, Carmel Market, Ben Gurion House, Rothschild Street, Levinsky Market, etc. For some of the further away places, it could be a 30 minute walk ... or you can use the numerous electric scooters stationed near the hotel and you can be anywhere in 10 minutes.
The beach that this hotel is near is very active. This beach has a promenade (boardwalk) set up with outdoor fitness facilities, beach bars and restaurants as well as public beach lounge chairs and umbrellas (for a small fee ... like $10 US or less), gelato shops, etc. There are always a ton of people on the beach, but it never felt too crowded. It also always felt very safe in this area.
We did our fair share of exploring and relaxing, but since we just got off of a week long tour of Israel, we just wanted to chill out. This hotel is perfect for that. Their pool area is on the 2nd floor with a nice set up (see video in link above). We spent a lot of our time in the penthouse executive lounge - this place was awesome with views of the ocean, city and everything else. It was a great haven away from the business of the city. There was food, drinks, alcohol, snacks, etc. always available (see video).
The hotel was indeed recently renovated and it shows.
we were upgraded to a junior suite on a low floor (6th floor, city view). The amount of space was perfect. comfortable beds, 2 flat screen TV's, Illy Coffee set up, mini bar, walk in closet, a nice sized bathroom (they provide "dead sea salt" shampoo and conditioner!!!) they also have nice lighting so ladies can put on make up without any issues. Robes and slippers are also provided. For elite members (or maybe everybody), they provide complimentary bottled water. The housekeeping staff came twice per day to check on you. The evening check in included dropping off chocolates and water, turn down service. Very nice.
The video we created with the link above really does a good job showing you the hotel, so check it out.

My husband and I stayed at The Sheraton Tel Aviv on May 14, 15, and 16th before starting our 2-week tour of Israel. Miss Shilon, the front office manager, Tal Golan, in the front office, and Franco Vella, the hotel's General Manager went out of their way to make our stay memorable. We also checked back in at the end of our 2-week tour and the general manager booked us on the 20th floor in a club room with views of the Meditteranean and the city. We received delicious multi-colored macarons in our room courtesy of the hotel! Our rooms during both stays were clean, beautiful, and most comfortable. I would stay at this property again. Because of my husband's status with Marriott, we were also able to use the Concierge Club Lounge on the 18th floor. Dmitry, one of the servers there, went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed always! The beach access across the street was easy to maneuver and the hotel provided beach towels. We look forward to our next visit!

A lot to digest? Read an AI-generated summary of recent traveller reviews.
The Sheraton was probably the highest rated hotel we stayed at in Tel Aviv and for the most part offered a spacious upgraded room with a balcony facing the beach and nice Bonvoy Club. Rooms were tastefully decorated and most services were as one would expect from a 5-star hotel. the biggest problem was obtaining a taxi, and the doormen simply shrugged their shoulders saying it might be impossible, which is hard to accept when paying top money for such a hotel. I would certainly come back to this hotel, but perhaps with my own car

Dear William S, Thank you for sharing your experiences following your recent stay with us. I am pleased to hear that you found the product and services we offer to your expectations and that you enjoyed the hotel's great location and Club Lounge. On a different note, I do apologise that our bell staff were not always able to get you a taxi. I share your frustration on the matter as this is unfortunately one of the challenges we face everyday due to the heavy reduction of taxis in the city since corona. We hope that the increase demand for taxis will instigate more drivers to once again return to this trade. While we thank you once again for sharing your experiences, we certainly look forward to welcoming you back once again to our hotel. Yours sincerely, Franco Vella

Location is great.
The room was spacious and comfortable.
Breakfast was extremely plentiful, varied and of high quality.
Housekeeping was inconsistent. Rooms have just been renovated and were clean but little things like round the shower screen, corners, especially in bathroom, bottoms of curtains, needed attention. Some nights there was a turndown service and others not.
Although view from room was spectacular (sea view), the balcony is extremely narrow with barely enough room for 2 small chairs. On the subject of these chairs, we had to ask for them multiple times before we actually got them on day 3. Although staff are polite, service in all aspects of the hotel is extremely slow (and sometimes non existent): including restaurants, reception and concierge.
It's expensive to stay in this hotel and I really think they need to improve their staff training. They also need to make clear that the balconies are not much use for sitting on and enjoying the view.

The Sheraton Tel Aviv is truly an excellent hotel focused on complete guest satisfaction.
The rooms are clean and modern, stocked with everything you would need - fridge, complimentary water, illy espresso machine, etc. The bathroom contains all toiletries you could need as well. The front desk is also super accommodating with providing guests with travel adapters for their stay for free as well. The restaurants in the hotel are excellent including the brand new one in the lobby.
The location is amazing - steps from the beach, and the hotel provides towels for you right on the way out.
The highlight of my stay was access to the club on the 18th floor. Elite members can check in and out right in the club, and the spread there for breakfast and cocktail hour is out of this world. Mazal, the manager of the club, made it extra special. She welcomes guests every morning with a huge smile and makes each person feel like the Sheraton club was your home away from home.
I will definitely be coming back to the Sheraton the next time I’m in Tel Aviv.

Excellent Hotel located in the most convenient location at the beach (middle of the boardwalk). The rooms were always kept clean (10 day stay), never had a complaint. Breakfast was phenomenal!. I had access to the Club Lounge located on the 18th floor, which was probably one of the most well maintained lounge I have visited. The lounge was always clean and the beach view was amazing. Snacks, food and drinks were offered throughout the day and the bar provided alcoholic beverages to include liquor, wine and multiple beers on the tap. The waiters spirit were always positive and attentive to your needs especially Bat Sheva and Dmitry, which were full of knowledge on the area, spoke multiple languages and high spirit / positive attitude inspired us to return each day. I will definitely recommend this Hotel to include access to the Club Lounge!

The location of this hotel is amazing with fantastic views. We booked two seafront view rooms which was definitely worth paying the extra for. Check in was great and a little problem with room allocation was solved quickly by Joseph. The public areas were stunning, the rooms were lovely with everything you need. The cleaning team were fabulous and did such a great job. We loved the pool area and never had a problem finding a sunbed. Breakfast was awesome and there was so much choice. Staff in the breakfast room were lovely.
The reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was because we were told there would be an extra charge of 60 usd a night for my son’s extra bed and breakfast which was fine and I budgeted for this fee, but when we arrived this cost was doubled because we were told there were extra fees involved such as cleaning on top of the 60 usd! Disgraceful why the full cost wasn’t disclosed prior to this, or have I been scammed?
We didn’t find the bar staff very friendly, either in the lobby or by the pool. They seem very unhappy in their jobs. We limited how much we went to the bar to avoid dealing with them.

Housekeeping was exceptional and wait staff also very good. Front desk staff and doorman unfriendly and unhelpful (except for the concierge who comes on at 10:00 a.m.), unable to answer basic questions about how to get around Tel Aviv, and even unable to hail a taxi. Our rooms billed as “sea view” were only partially sea view, but evidently billed at same rate as full sea view. Management would not budge on this.

Dear tfrank4, Thank you for sharing your latest experience while staying at our hotel and for choosing to stay with us during your recent stay in Tel Aviv. I do apologise that our front desk associates were not as helpful as you rightly expected them to be and we have taken this up with the team. I also apologise that we were not able to hail a cab for you. Unfortunately availability of cabs in the city, after corona has been substantially reduced and this is unfortunately a constant challenge for us. As regards to "sea view" rooms, as indicated on our website we have two types of rooms that guests can book. Sea view and sea front rooms. Sea Front rooms carry an additional supplement and are not charged at the same rate. On a positive note I am pleased to hear that you found our housekeeping and food & beverage associates exceptional. We do look forward to welcoming you back in the not too distant future. We stayed at this hotel twice during our vacation in Israel (traveled to Jerusalem in between). We had an exceptional experience and highly recommend to anyone planning to visit Tel-Aviv! The staff in every step of our stay was very helpful, professional, and provided an excellent experience. They anticipated and exceeded our needs. Rooms are clean, spacious and with many amenities (every detail meticulously planned). Highly recommend getting a room with access to the 18th floor executive lounge...worth the investment and would like to especially recognize Adan and Elena (though everyone was super accommodating and professional). The lounge is maintained with utmost attention to every detail in a friendly and cozy environment. The food served in the lounge is fresh, delicious and to meet any dietary needs. We had breakfast at the Surfside Seaview restaurant and we were extremely impressed with the many options...one of the best breakfast spreads we have ever seen (we travel all over the world for both business and pleasure regularly). Pool area also very spacious, well maintained and we enjoyed some spectacular sunsets. Hotel has great access to the beach

The Sheraton Grand Tel Aviv offered guests a superb experience. The location is beautiful, right on the beach and adjacent to the Boardwalk. My view of the sea, Jaffa, and south Tel Aviv was amazing. The picturesque sunsets and sound of the surf offers guests a memorable experience. I was delighted with the 5-star accommodations. The environment, service and staff are exceptional. The suites and common areas are meticulously clean and bright, with fresh flowers arranged daily. The staff are pleasant, friendly and helpful with even the simplest requests. Special thanks to the Club Lounge staff. Mazal, Anastasiya, Elena, Janice, Mary Ann, Maria and Adan always offered a pleasant greeting and were attentive to every guest. Their extraordinary customer service exceeded my expectations. Chefs Lilakeh and Alex offered fresh pastries, breads, delicious made-to-order omelettes and pancakes among the many breakfast selections. I strongly recommended the Sheraton Grand Tel Aviv to friends, family and colleagues.
