Detailed Reviews
I am staying in Dan Panorama from 10 to 14th February 2020 on business. It was my first time in this hotel, my Company is paying $338 per night ( although the hotel advertise much cheaper price if you check online - NIS 963). I am not even going to mention the fact that the room is small and bathroom is too small for 5* hotel , it's not that important on a big scale of things. When I arrived yesterday the fridge was switched off and was quite smelly ; on the door handle inside was only a sign "please clean the room". Since I have not had a sign "Do not disturb" I have assumed that if I will not put outside the sign " Clean the room " no one will come into room, because I have confidential documents and generally prefer not to be disturbed. How wrong I was ! Today after coming back from a long day at work I discovered that the cleaning lady or gentleman was in the room and they even managed to put their fingers inside brand new "Creme De La Mer" cream that I have purchased yesterday in duty free on my way here. When I spoke with a duty Manager they made it sound like it's my fault because I did not put "Please do not disturb sign" that was not provided to me in a first place. Also they made me sound like a liar because according to the hotel management the cleaner would never touch my thing and put fingers into brand new jar with a cream. In short : its one of the worth hotel experiences that I have had and I travel extensively.I have arrived only yesterday and cant wait it to be Friday so I can check out and forget about this unpleasant experience.

Dear Guest, Thank you for choosing to stay at the Dan Panorama Tel Aviv Hotel, Thank you for taking the time to write this feedback I was sorry to hear about the incident that happened, We talked to a cleaning man, he claims that he did not touch your belongings and he has no reason to touch. I apologize for you not getting his answer, I tried to call you but there was no answer in the room I would love to meet you in my office tomorrow morning to have a chat later. The primary reason why we stayed at this hotel was due to the proximity of tour pick up location. We weren't in the room much but the bed was very comfortable and the view was gorgeous. We did use the hotel room service a couple of time due to very late nights from tours and the food was always good and service was prompt. If you join the e-Dan club, you get some nice perks and it's no cost to join. The location is great for beach access which is right across the street. Aside from that, there are not a ton of restaurants in the immediate area.

We were with a tour group so perhaps we were given the lesser rooms, but certainly no view, no way to use just a sheet as cover as only a duvet on the beds. The room was hot and no air conditioning as they turn it off from 6 pm till morning. Had to ask for a floor fan to be able to sleep. The balcony glass door is sealed shut so no way to get air. Room was decent size but bathroom was in need of repairs around shower. The hair dryer was installed in the closet! This hotel was billed as a 4-star hotel but I’d only give it a 3. Staff were helpful though.
The dinner buffet was a good surprise as plenty of interesting dishes and the dessert bar was beautifully done, but I found the raspberry sorbet in a cone and the flan were my favorites.

Dear guests Thank you for choosing to stay at the Dan Panorama Tel Aviv Hotel, Thanks for taking the time to write this feedback, I was delighted to hear that you enjoyed the culinary diversity of the hotel chef The issue of air conditioner in the rooms, currently in the winter season heating the whole hotel, for those who are less comfortable bedding other solutions The hotel is constantly undergoing changes and improvements regarding room maintenance I will forward your comments to the relevant managers to improve the topic. I am sorry you came out feeling less good about the hospitality Regards Regi Guest Relations Manager

This hotel is located very close to the Old Jaffa Port, has access to the boulevard and beach promenade. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The restaurant has a wide variety of food for breakfast and I also ate at the hotel bar twice and the staff was very friendly and gave me their recommendations. The salads are delicious. You can try local wines.
The room is comfortable and very clean. The hotel managers personally make sure that each guest feels at home. I must make special mention of Regina who was extremely kind to me and gave me personal attention. I believe that Israeli hospitality is very well represented in this team. Thank you all, I hope to visit you soon!

Decided to return to the Dan Panorama having last visited in 2015
Arrived 21st June 2022 it took the staff 35 minutes to check us in as they cold not fathom out how to not charge VAT and understand that we did not want to have interconnecting rooms with our married son.
Room 1928 said it all, tired and dated from the 1990s possibly. Balcony too small to swing a cat, furniture dated.
Breakfast was not like one would expect from a Dan hotel. Only one hard cheese cakes were available for early risers.
Hot coffee machine broken one day and the other couple of days the server was some miserable wretch who should not be there.
Forget about requesting a decaf coffee or hot chocolate.
25 minute wait for omelettes.
Pool was full of rules and regulations, life guards busy on their iphones, guests sipping private drinks in glass cups and bottles next to the pool (Thursday 23rd June)
Pool restaurant shut
Drinks only available until 4pm
Pool closes at 6pm despite it only getting dark at 7.45pm
Child play area beyond a disgrace
Loby cafe will sell drinks and pizza for take out but not cheese cake until manager okayed it
We did have a great meal in the lobby restaurant 21st June with excellent service by Ruth.
Another time we spotted a large cockroach there which I squashed
When we checked out the service manager Chaim Hai asked us to write a review
In short not a penny has been spent on this hotel and $295 for b & b is extortionate for what we received.
It is a great pity as the hotel could be one of the greatest due to its location and the large pool

The location was great, room overlooked the beach, but also a huge parking lot. The room was small and lighting wasn't the best. We wanted food on Shabbat... my advice is to eat a big lunch and buy snacks for dinner. We stayed at a neighboring hotel at the beginning of our trip. The breakfast alone would be worth the difference in the price. If you need a quick place to stay before heading to the airport, it's perfect. If longer trip..."eh" The worst thing was it was Dec and we were cold in the room. Even though there was an adjustable thermostat, the temp remained the same. We called the desk and they said they were sending someone up. Two hours later, nobody had come up- we called again and we were told "oh, we don't have heat" If traveling here in the winter- find out if this is always the case, or did someone forget to turn it on during the Sabbath??!!! We slept in heavy sweats and socks.

Dear guests Thank you for choosing to stay at the Dan Panorama Tel Aviv Hotel Thank you for taking the time to write this feedback I was pleased to hear that the location of the hotel, and the view was to your satisfaction Regarding your comments, the hotel in winter is turned on heating in all rooms and public areas, in summer for cooling If a guest requests cooling we offer them a fan, but for the most part guests turn off heating and the room becomes cozy at cooling temperatures. I'm sorry you had to wait a long time for a professional to fix the air conditioner. And for that I personally apologize Wishing you all the best Regi Guest Relations Manager

Had a nice reception. The room condition is very good. Breakfast is excellent. My room is across from the housekeeping staging room. They start banging the carts at 7:30 in the morning. It is also easy to hear any conversations in the hallway from guests or the housekeepers. Every guest room door that closes on this part of the floor makes my room shake. Good think I have ear plugs, I will wear them tonight. One last item is that a service person entered by room to drop off my special "gift" for being a club member. He entered without knocking and I had just gotten out of the shower and had no clothes on. A bit embarrassing! Otherwise, the place is fine.

We were welcomed by a very attentive gentleman at the front desk who helped us get into our room early as we were tired from an overnight flight. It felt like we were being persueded to give him a tip as well though. The rooms are in desparate need to be renoveated as they are crumbling. The food however was very good - lots of selection at breakfast, and hot. Location is wonderful, close to Carmel makret and the beach.

Not a good experience, in comparison to Dan Hotels in other locations. I made a reservation for a deluxe plus room on high floor with a balcony facing the sea, with paid parking. Took 15 mins to find a parking structure where you really do not want to go to. Then I was told that the room is not on a high floor, but "it does not matter because it is such a great room". Well, the "great room" is facing the pool under construction with a somewhat distant view of sea ... but we cannot see either one of them because the glass windows and doors are so dirty you can paint on them. I complained and was assured that they would take care of it right away, but it has not happened yet, and we are leaving tomorrow. Given how much we paid for the room, we are very disappointed. At least the bed is very good. Would not recommend staying at this hotel.

Dear guests, Thank you for choosing to stay at the Dan Panorama Tel Aviv Hotel, Thank you for taking the time to write this feedback I was sorry to read your comments Deluxe Plus rooms are located on the lower floors of the hotel, most of which have sea views, Window cleaning is done on a regular basis, unfortunately it is not possible to control wintry weather to prevent rain and dust stains from the wind. I highly recommend the Dan Panorama Tel Aviv Hotel. My wife and I arrived at 7 am Sunday morning exhausted after flying for 2 days with no sleep. We discovered that we had no reservation for Saturday night that just ended and no arrangement for early check in on Sunday. But we met Mr. Ralph at the check in desk who went out of his way to get a room cleaned for us so we could check in. Ralph also got approval for us from the hotel manager to have breakfast at no cost while we waited for a room. Ralph also brought us coffee and cake because he could see that we were tired and hungry. Thank you Ralph for making us comfortable and getting us a room early.

We had a suite on the 17th floor, facing north - great view of the city! We had 2 double-beds in the bedroom, and a pull-out couch in the living-room. Very comfortable. Sorry about the delay in replying.
Their king beds are 2 twins put together. Every hotel we stayed at in Israel was the same way. The do not offer rooms that accommodate 4 people so I believe everything is a king.
