We stayed 7 nights during our trip in February 2022, right after independent travelers were allowed to enter Israel. We loved the excellent location to be able to walk to the old city, neighborhood shops, restaurants and market. We especially enjoyed the outstanding and bountiful breakfast; my cappuccinos prepared by FeFe were the best I have ever had. Our housekeeping staff on the 8th floor, Mohammad from Bethlehem, was always there to care for our every need. Thanks for an unforgettable stay.

Excellent hotel, very well located for the Old City and close to tram links, restaurants and bars. Elad, the Guest Relations Manager, could not have been more helpful. He emailed shortly after we booked to introduce himself and offered to help in any way he could. We had lots of questions and needs for help on organising trips which he did brilliantly and with very fast turnaround on replies.

I've been to Jerusalem many times, and stayed in various well known 5-star hotels, but for price paid, none can touch the Herbert Samuel for overall value. I was given a high level room (had a decent morning view) which was clean and well prepared. Loved the shower (hot and strong water pressure), towels and amenities. Beds were quite comfortable too. Breakfast on the top floor is amazing!! So many choices, all wonderful and great choices of tables (inside and outside) to enjoy your food. The gym has decent high level cardio and weight machines. Best of all is the location. It just doesn't get any better. Right in the middle of Zion Square, close to everything in central Jerusalem. For the price paid, this hotel is extraordinary!
