The Sephardic Guest House is an excellent hotel that has an excellent location, just inside the Zion Gate in the Jewish Quarter of the Old City of Jerusalem. My wife and I stayed as part of a tour and traveled with a another party that included a man and is elderly father. Both the father and I have difficulty navigating...

We spent a lovely few days at The Sephardic House Hotel. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet. The breakfasts were excellent really good selection. The oranges to squeeze were lovely and the omelet cooked to order was wonderful. We really enjoyed the soup when we returned in the afternoon. We were able to walk to all the major sites...

The breakfast was included and although the coffee was not that good I enjoyed squeezing my own fresh squeezed orange juice. The hotel had a nice homey feeling and they had delicious chicken soup in the lobby. I liked being in the Jewish Quarter. There was coffee, pizza, falafel and more right there. The hotel was just a stone throw...

The hotel is great to stay in if you want to be in the Old City. The rooms are airy and spacious and it is a quiet and restful place to spend a few days. The breakfast is plentiful and delicious and the staff especially Abir and Maggie (the two women who man the front desk.) It was a wonderful...

As a first timer on a budget I couldn't have selected a better hotel. I can't say enough about how wonderful all the staff was on helping us with questions, tours, local info and catching our bus to Jordan. Everything in the old city walls was accessible by walking. We explored all 4 quarters with no need for taxis. The...

Liora Green in the last week-Edit We came to Israel for our son's Bar Mitzvah. The location is perfect if you want to be in the Old City for a Shabbat Bar Mitzvah. The manager Israel was not helpful at all. We had some issues over Shabbat (see below) and instead of trying to make things better, he refused to...

My husband and I stayed at the Sephardic House hotel for 4 nights in February. We had a wonderful stay, with fantastic Israeli breakfast, wonderfully clean and pleasant room, and little touches like a tureen of soup ready for guests in the afternoon. This is not a luxury lodging. The elevator was not functioning, nor did it seem to be...

Spent two nights here at the end of January and was very satisfied. Yes you are staying in the old city, instead of streets it is brick and cobble stones with the occasional flight of stairs. But the Taxi from the airport can pull right up to the landing. (ok there are still 6 or 10 steps to get to...

The breakfast didn't have much fruits and and rooms for family are not comfortable. The good thing is that is inside the old town. But my family and I wouldn't rate as a 4 starts hotel. More like 2 or 3!
