Main complaint is that, despite being on about the 10th floor, the sound insulation from the street was very poor. The location is next to a busy road and my sleep was disturbed by the traffic, as well as by the droning of the air conditioner compressors on the ground far below the room. Overall the place was clean and the bed comfortable, but the hotel has a general look as if in need of some tender loving care - a bit shabby-looking. Location is excellent, near a light rail stop and close to the central bus and railway stations.

STAY AWAY! The hotel is a construction site. Works begin at 7. Terrible noise. When I complained, nobody seemed to care. There wasn’t even the slightest apology. I was told that the manager will call me. I’m still waiting…..

I was there for a Shabbat sheva brachot for my brother. We were about 40 people in all. The hotel itself was nice, great, central location and good accommodations, but what really stood out to me was the incredible attention the waiters and head waiter gave us. We had a problem with the space they had given us for eating, and once I explained the situation to the waiters and the head waiter, they listened and it was obvious that they really cared and wanted to solve the problem. They fell over themselves to help and solve the issue (which was a considerably issue), ultimately giving themselves more work by making sure we had the best possible solution. I have never seen such great wait staff in all my time in Israel, including at more exclusive hotels. It was really something else and I highly recommend this hotel for all your family events.…

The hotel is old and the room are in desperate need of a full refurb same with the gym and I door pool. I stayed here essentially for the big buffet breakfast that the hotel is known for and that i have had on numerous occasions however I was in for a massive disappointment. Due to covid and the lack of guests they have closed the hall downstairs where breakfast used to be served. Instead it is served in the cafe upstairs and no buffet. Just a small breakfast with no choice of items and service is poor. The breakfast times is very limited and not of use if you have an early start like I did. Now there is no attraction at all to stay at the Jerusalem Gardens.

We spent Simchat Torah there, and in the absence of the normal American group that comes for Sukkot we didn't know what to expect but it was beautiful. Shabtai Eisenstat led beautiful tefillot; the rooms are great; the food was superb. We had a very quiet floor which was much needed and appreciated. All together a nice way to end our Sukkot holiday
