Came here with my family for a long weekend and what a nice stay it was. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, especially Said and Abed. They really treat you like family and of course the hotel is beautiful and location was perfect if you want to walk to the old city.

My family has been coming to the David Citadel for the past 25 years. Every time we come, the stay is excellent. The staff are all friendly and the rooms are so comfortable. The location is unmatched. Special shoutout to Said and Abed for their excellent breakfast service each day. They make us feel like we are at home and strive to ensure we are comfortable. We cannot wait to come again!

I’ve been to the David Citadel many times as a kid.It is always a pleasure! The staff always greets us with a smile and a helping hand. The breakfast staff in particular are amazing. Said and Abed remember us by name and remember our coffee and good orders. The service is great and I can’t wait to go back!!

My family and I have been staying at this hotel for over 20 years every time we visit Jerusalem The highlight of our visit is the breakfast. The service is always outstanding and personal. Sa’id is always there to greet us with a friendly smile and always remembers our particular coffee snd omelette. He remembers our children names and is always fast to help with any additional requests. Abed is always there to greet us back and makes sure we get a good table and that we are well attended to. We take the time to catch up on the latest of our families and we are made to feel at home away from home. Without fail, exceptional experience every time. We miss the crew already and look forward to our next visit.

Happy to be able to visit the Citadel once again after Covid. The hotel is as excellent as it was before the pandemic. Great to see many of the same faces who were as happy to see us as we were happy to see them. As usual, above and beyond service level by Saeed, Abed, Sameer, Walid, Mutaz and many many others. Hotel itself, still top notch, beside the central location, rooms and amenities are superb. Would still recommend an old city and pool view, costs more but worth it. We already booked our next visit, can't wait.
