Great hotel, very good breakfast beautiful bar at the lobby . And the location is excellent. We had a tasting tour in “mahane Yehud market which was a great experience. There are free drinks at the reception all day long and the room is very clean and furnished beautifully.
The Brown Hotel is a boutique hotel, well situated for sightseeing. The rooms are comfortable and modern. They are on the small side but not so that it felt cramped. We had a tiny balcony which allowed us to keep the door open and the breeze in. The staff was efficient and friendly. The restaurant within the hotel ( but not belonging to the hotel) provided delicious breakfasts. We also had two equally tasty dinners there, sitting outside on the patio under the stars. All the staff went above and beyond to meet our needs. All in all a great experience.
Luckily we stayed only one night... I saw hundreds of hotel all around and world of all classes - never encountered such lousy room. It was so tiny that you can get on and off the bed from one side only (and it is supposed to be a double room). It is full with clumsy and inefficient furniture that occupied all the remaining space so you can't make a step without hitting some pieces of furniture - and at the same time there no storage for clothes and no place for a hanger. The window turns into a backyard full with garbage and the AC didn't work... And all this is for a "boutique" price... On the positive side: good location (but with no parking!) and friendly staff. Still, there are plenty of other hotels around...
Our stay in the Jerusalem was amazing. Part of it was due to our amazing stay. The rooms are gorgeous, modern and clean. The staff are so friendly and helpful. And the restaurant are the best. The breakfast was such a delicious experience.
Amazing hotel!. Excellent location and the hotel staff is very kind. The rooms are so beautiful and new. Very close to the restaurants areas and within walking distance to the old city. Special thanks to the hotel manager who is in close contact with the guest for their needs.
We enjoyed our room, and hotel experience. Clean, includes exactly what you need. Nice restaurant as well :) with special dishes.Staff was friendly and easy going. Great location, easy walks to our desired destinations.
We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights after we make a reservation for 3 adults ( 2 parents and a 3th year old). We got a room a size of a prison cell that even our luggage couldn’t get in it.. we got moved to a different room with a baby crib that my daughter didn’t fit in of course. If you can’t handle a reservation of 3 so don’t expect one! We would have just made a reservation on a different hôtel. Bad experience
The location is perfect, but this is the only good thing that I would say about this hotel. The Hotel is extremely filthy! The carpets has stains all over, all the furnitures are filled with dust. There was someones hair in my bed! The entire infrastructure is not maintained. The Hotel has so much potential, it’s so small and cozy, has perfect location, but the maintenance is simply horrible. I feel like they completely contempt the guests. The breakfast was horrible, the coffee machine didn’t work, the food was not fresh and they serve half dishes, i.e you are getting a half and another guest is getting half of the same pie - it’s awful. Not recommended at all, especially at this price. It’s more like a low rated “guest house” than a Hotel.
we ate with some friends in this boutique hotel. The restaurant seemed nice and the service promised to be a highly experience! the fish was tasty but one of the plates had a portion for kids and my husband was still very hungry the desserts were absolutely disappointing and it was so cold that when we left our feet were completely frozen
We ended up booking The Brown JLM after cancelling The Herbert Samuel. (First we were going to book The Mamilla but it was a bit more than we were willing to spend). Everything worked out very well. Other than some kinks in the housekeeping and the lack of any drawers or a closet for our clothes, the hotel was very nice. All new & modern & the staff was very accommodating. The BEST part though, was the AMAZING restaurant on the lobby level- Ruhan. The food was OUTSTANDING. We had dinner there one evening & breakfast on 2 occasions. The 2nd breakfast was even better than the 1st, which was already fantastic. The other days breakfast was down the block in Cafit, which was excellent as well. (the hotel has an arrangement with them). Also, ELAL changed our flight to 13 hours later so the hotel was kind enough to let us keep the room until 7:30pm, since our flight was at 12:45am. We were very grateful for that :). All in all, we had an excellent visit. Hopefully next time they’ll have real furniture in the room & a more attentive housekeeping staff, but we would stay here again.…
