We went as a couple in a group of 3 couples to visit Israel for the first time from Malta. Tamer Guest House was recommended by a local friend and we did not regret it! Our hosts, George and his wife, daughter and son were outstanding in making us feel at home and welcome. We were treated to fantastic breakfasts in the new breakfast room with on tap coffee, local bites to eat plus sweet pastries. George assisted with providing cars for us to explore Haifa as a group, and was always on hand to welcome us back home, and it felt like home too. There are several 'units' that consist of a lounge, bedroom, kitchenette and ensuite bathroom with fantastic water pressure in the shower. The accommodation was clean, cosy and ample for our needs. When we departed, George provided transport to the train station and his wife left little souvenir gifts for us. We really enjoyed our stay at Tamer Guest house, George and his family made us feel like family. Our room The Minerva Suite, was large and comfortable. Had a great shower and everything you needed to feel at home. If there was anything missing, they graciously supply you with it. Breakfast was very nice and we couldn’t recommend Tamer Guest house more strongly. Take George’s advice and dine at The Shrimps House, located about two hundred yards back on the hwyway. The food was fresh and abundant! Thank you George and family for you wonderful place to lay these weary heads.

First, it is worth mentioning the hosts of this guest house who are a lovely family! They were warm, helpful and always attentive to our needs during our stay. They provided us with a good breakfast to start each day and we stayed in one of their newer structures (the chalets). I did get a tour of their rooms when two of them freed up, which looked nice, charming and cozy. I loved waking up daily and walking out to look out onto the beach (which is just beyond the road in between). Even though I had a car (parked in the roundabout in front of the guest house), several times we either walked over to the beach for a stroll (5-10 minutes) or I would grab the nearby bus that ran straight to the Germany Colony neighborhood of Haifa (once walked it, which took about 40 minutes). The bus ride saved me the hassle of parking :-). Food in Haifa is incredible. I knew the area, but George and family were also incredibly helpful. I would 100% stay here again. wonderful experience. The hosts were very friendly and always ready to help. George and his daughter are very nice. George picked us up from the train station at 2 o'clock in the morning. At the end of our trip, he dropped us off to the bus station. Very comfortable room. Free wifi. You can see the view of the beach. I highly recommend this place.

Thanks again to George, but mostly to his wife and daughter who helped us out when we had to move accommodation last minute on Saturday night. The kids loved the room and the stay- and so did we! Highly recommend the guest house. Clean and special!
