this is a beautiful boutique hotel in the center of the German district (I think). Anyway, it has beautiful rooms which are immaculate with an outstanding restaurant attached. Note... the restaurant does not serve an early breakfast BUT they do give vouchers for other coffee shops and restaurants which are within walking distance. However it is worth the layi-in just to sample their breakfast! Staff were amazing and we will be back, thank you.
On arrival our hearts sank as this place does NOT resemble the pictures. Amazing what a good photographer can do! Our room was fairly rustic, the tv box was balanced on the telly etc. Not quite stylish and boutique like we expected. But all that said, we relaxed well and came to enjoy the room. We had a little patio and this overlooked a disused parking area at the back. Again, first impression was disappointing, but we came to relax there a couple of times so can't be too harsh. But the weirdest thing was the service. A young Ukrainian chap on reception could not have been nicer and more accommodating. Whereas a long dark haired female with glasses on reception was cold and disinterested. We asked her if she could advise on tours and she told us to go to tourist info rather than helping at all, all in an unhelpful manner. So overall a strange stay. We felt a bit tricked as this is not a flashy boutique hotel at all. Yet we had a relaxing stay. The mannequins etc unsurprisingly were also a bit lost on us. Maybe that's cool and we're not. Who knows. This place is very central to the German colony which is good. But if we had our 6 days again we'd stay in Akko and just day trip to Haifa anyway!…
First time in Haifa but I have been to Tel Aviv many times. I normally stay in large hotels from a major chain however my colleague booked this boutique hotel. It was perfect in everyway, extremely welcoming staff and the rooms are a treat. The shower is so powerful it nearly took the skin off my bald head, the bed was so comfortable I slept like a baby. Lovely hotel with great staff, what a treat this place is. Give it a go you wont be disappointed.
We wanted to spoil ourselves with a quite night off... Booked quite an expensive room in this hotel and were quite amazed when we arrived. A room which was described when we booked as their most expensive room has no window, the "patio" is the size of a shoe box and is practicaly in the street. Bathroom and shower with small windows you don't want to open as behind them is the garbage area... And it was not a clean room, although it was so dark so I'm not sure how dirty it was.. Staff is kind and welcoming, I'll give you that... Its a shame realy. It seems there arenice rooms in the upper floors, why sell rooms in the shelter area??
The hotel is a terrific combination of location and accommodations. It is on Ben Gurion Blvd in the heart of the German Colony, with a great view of the Bahai Gardens. Each room is different, and ours had two very comfortable chairs which were great for sitting in and hanging out with each other. We also loved having a big bathtub in the room, very romantic. We spent most of our 3 days in the room, whereas we usually want to spend as little time as possible in it. The staff is super friendly. For breakfast they give you vouchers you can use in any of 4 restaurants; you can order in some of them in the afternoon as well and the "breakfast" is huge. The room was super clean and the bed felt comfortable and new/
