Breakfast is amazing especially salmon with hony, all covid-19 stuff prepared, chefs put food in a plate for best safety and hygiene. But rooms are too small only 20msq which you can’t put all your stuff and have no area to change clothes. Bathroom too small as well.

I can’t tell you how dedicated they are going to be with you! This is very beautiful and clean hotel. I’ve visited several hotels in Istanbul but I found this hotel is incredible. If you look to the cleanness, this hotel is very clean they have service rooms regardless of COVID-19 restrictions since they taking the caution in their consideration . If you look to the team are really enjoyable and helpful. If you compare the price with the service they provide is huge difference between them and other hotels, the price is very reasonable. I’ve reserved two connection room they are big and clean. The breakfast is excellent variety of options. I highly recommend this hotel. Definitely this hotel will be my first option wherever I go. I’m staying for 7 days at the hotel and everything up until now is perfect. The service is amazing and they are all friendly. Every morning after breakfast I head down to the lobby with my niece and greeted by the amazing fatma who makes the best coffee and so friendly always smiling and always helpful! My first time in Istanbul, tagging along with my husband on his business trip. I'm also working remotely while he's in his meetings. My first impression: the place smells nice and fresh despite people smoking outside (reason is lots of places I've been to are reeked of cigarette smokes and this one to my surprise does not). There's a restaurant on the top floor for lunch and dinner and one on the 1st floor (or 2nd if you come from the US) for breakfast. Food could be boring after a while as they don't vary much but for my 7 day stay, I won't mind as I am still exploring all the dishes offered. So many things I like about this hotel: decent rate, free water bottles in the room (2) and the water tastes different from one in the US, good food, fast and steady WiFi, good and quiet room temperature control (okay this one might sound unreasonable to others, but I definitely don't like having an AC unit by the window which cannot stop blowing air no matter how you set it or even when there's no standalone AC unit, the thermostat can go crazy and air could be blasting so it's either too hot or too cold in the room), good quality housekeeping (they really clean the toilet and sink and replace dirty cups with clean cups, I am working in the room while the housekeeper (names Kadriye, I believe) cleans up my room. Some might say she's doing all that because I am present in the room, but I've seen her doing other rooms too).

I stayed in Movenpick Hotel Istanbul Golden Horn for nine nights and I can simply describe my stay as an unforgettable and amazing one. The hotel is well located near to the downtown and all the means of transportation are around. The view from my room was spectacular with sea view and palm trees. The team members were very helpful starting from the warm welcome at the main entrance by the door attendant, Borhan, the front desk agent,unfortunately I can not remember his name but he was so smiling and professional. The room service supervisor, Gokhan, was so much eager to offer help all the time to make my stay so comfortable and he was really great. The management is very responsive to any kind of complians even the minor ones and Fahriye Erdoğan from the guest relations was so lovely, kind and she cares so much about the customers satisfaction and she went beyond and exceeded my expectations in all the situation I have raised with her. The breakfast buffet was very good with enough varietyies and the breakfast team in the restaurant was tremendous. Fantastic hotel with very unique service and very experienced concierge manager Mr. Kaan. Thank you Movenpick Istanbul Golden Horn for not saving any efforts to make my stay a memorable one.

So we traveled from NY to Istanbul for a vacation and after considering other accommodations we decided on the Movenpick, Golden Horn. Well , it was a very good decision! What a great place and the staff were amazingly courteous and very helpful. From Haydar at the front office to the restaurant manager Rasiit, we could not have been treated better! I must mention a great server Furkan, from the rooftop restaurant that allows for fantastic view of the area as you look across the natural estuary which is an extension of the Bosporus strait He was knowledgeable beyond his years, spoke terrific English ans was just a great person to all around. We took some great photos from the restaurant and got some really nice pics. The Food was not just good, it was outstanding both nights. The entire team of workers were extremely conscientious. I can't forget to mention Lihan, duty manager, Sule and Faith,the fantastic concierge. I wish I could have stayed there longer. The only negative is the traffic getting from the airport to the hotel during rush hour. I would plan to travel early or later for the smoothest transfer without the congestion. Overall, it was a great time. We moved about the city easily by taxi and i even ventured out by transit one day . The people are friendly and the restaurants are super . If you go to Istanbul visit one of the Nusret steak houses for an amazing meal in one of the hottest food places Turkey has to offer. I would definitely go back there again and want to send my thanks to everyone at the Movenpick. Thanks for a great experience!

I've enjoyed excellent stay with my family during the midyear vacation, guest relation executive Fahriye Erdogan was amazing and helpful. We have stayed at a number of hotels across Turkey but Movenpick GoldenHorn was the best one by far! From reception to room service, everything was impeccable. This hotel was very friendly and clean, it's about a 30 min bus journey to the main centre where you can get a tram to all the main spots. The hotel has two free shuttles that also take you there. The staff were amiable and helpful, they went above and beyond in making us feel comfortable and making our trip to Turkey a lot smoother. A special shoutout to Ogulcan who was extremely friendly and helpful, people like him make your trip a lot better!
