Nestled in the heart of Istanbul, the White House Hotel stands out for its exceptional value and prime location that's central to major attractions. Guests have called out the hotel's beautiful, traditionally touched rooms and the rooftop views as particularly impressive.
The included breakfast and impeccable service consistently earn rave reviews. While the bustling location can occasionally impact Uber pickups and contribute to street noise, travelers find the rooms to be quiet havens of comfort and cleanliness.

Hotel's Favourite
This was our first time visiting Istanbul. Upon check-in, the staff was beyond friendly, and was eager to please, throughout the entire stay, everyone was very friendly, and never made us feel that we were inconveniencing them by asking questions.
During check-in, they offered refreshments and made the check-in process easy. They also gave us local good luck charms that was quite sweet. They also decorated our room for our first visit as a couple.
The room was not necessarily large, but was decent size and great value for the money. The shower was amazing, that water pressure is no joke! They have a rooftop terrace that is open 24/7 with a coffee machine that can make anything from espresso to a cappuccino. They also offer a breakfast buffet that, typically in hotels are quite poor quality/generic, however, this one was very fresh, and most products were local.
As a well, seasoned traveler, when I see a number one rated hotel, I usually prepare ourselves to get bombarded by the team, to leave a five star review, however, they only mentioned it once!
Upon check out, then, sure that we were beyond happy, and they even contacted our local transfer a company as they were running late and offer to find other alternatives, if need be.
We even met the owner and general manager, who gave us a sincere thank you, and offered handshake. You don’t typically find that a lot nowadays where general managers don’t interact with Airgas.
Overall, I would say this is a great value and a hidden gem. A great location with walkable to just about anything in the old town District. It is about an hour drive from the new Istanbul airport, but that is not the locations fault. 10 out of 10 recommend

My brother and I choose this hotel since our busines partners wanted to stay at this hotel in the old city. I can say it was one of the best decision that we so far. Not only the proximity to the touristic attractions also their service is what puts this place one step ahead of others. The rooms are very clean and functional. The breakfas is well spread and tasty. It is served on the rooftop where you can see the Haghia Sophia with its magnificence. Even tough the prices slightly higher than the other hotels in the area, they prove that it worths with the all small touches they make during your stay. Plus they didn't charge us for the extra bed. Especially I want to thanks Mr. Harun showing our clients Turkish Hospitality. This is the place where we are going to stay for our next trips to Istanbul without hesitation. Thank you to all the staff for everything. I highly recommend this hotel.

We initially chose this hotel for it’s prime location – all major historical sites tourists come to visit Istanbul for are in a very short walk from it’s location. All other necessary accommodations such as restaurants, ATMs are just around the corner, small food market for snacks and soft drinks is across the hotel’s entrance.
Our stay at the hotel was very enjoyable, the staff was polite, quick and sincere. Mr. Harun, upon our arrival, offered a free upgrade – a larger room than we originally booked. Rooms are nicely decorated, housekeeping was superb, fresh towels every day, and one can smell a hint of eastern fragrance in the air. If you are an early bird you can observe a sunrise while having breakfast on the terrace and behold the silhouette of Hagia Sophia. Due to pandemic guests are asked to call reception 20-30 minutes prior to coming up to the terrace, a server will bring plates in a plastic wrap and offer drinks. Breakfast usually consists of omelet variations, french fries or hash brown, sausage, biscuit and a separate plate with freshly cut vegetables and a variety of Mediterranean cheeses, just enough to fuel you for most of the sightseeing day. If you are a western traveler and have not ventured to this part of the world before choose this hotel for local culture experience.

+1
My wife and I decided to visit the beautiful historical sites in Istanbul and chose White House Hotel because of the many positive reviews.
We were impressed with the level of professionalism and attention to detail from the staff as well as the owner/manager.
From the moment we walked in we were greeted warmly and presented with welcome drinks. We arrived before check in but were allowed to check in early; and they even upgraded our room!
Our room was decorated with flowers and balloons which made us feel like very special and welcomed guests and the rainfall shower had phenomenal water pressure.
The hotel staff recommended that we call the reception in advance so that the complimentary hot breakfast would be ready for us upon our arrival. This allowed for social distancing compliance during the pandemic but also made us feel special as everything was beautifully
laid out. The dining area had an outside area that allowed for a beautiful view of the Hagia Sophia of which we took many pictures.
Overall, I highly recommend a stay at White House Hotel as the value and level of service cannot be beat at this price point. We plan on coming back to Turkey and staying at this hotel again because they made my wife and I feel like special and honored guests.

There’s no short of boutique hotels in the Sultanahmet area as it’s a great place to stay to soak in the major sights of Istanbul. What sets this hotel apart from the rest is its staff headed by the ever busy Mr Harun, manager and owner of the place. The reception team welcomed us warmly with some citrus refreshments and promptly allocated us a room even though it was much earlier than the official check in time. Really appreciated the gesture! Our room was very pretty with a touch of honeymoon decor! Thanks to the team for that special touch. Very clean and a good size room too. Just a small suggestion to have more hooks or stand alone coat hangers esp during winter and rainy seasons to hang up those bulky coats. The breakfast staff took great care and pride in serving a delicious and varied buffet menu when we stayed there for 4 nights. The team was always on hand to answer our queries. Wifi is good. This place is in a great location-
*5min walk to Havaist bus stop ( shuttle to & frm airport, 18 liras each way )
*5min walk to Hagia Sophia
*5min walk to Blue Mosque
*10min walk to Tokapi Palace
*10min walk to Grand bazaar
*5min walk to Sultanahmet tram station
*5min walk to Basilica Cistern
*so many eateries within a 5min walk around the hotel
It was easy to book the room on its website at very economical rates. The communications and email replies prior to our arrival were prompt and very clear. A big thank u to the team at the White House Istanbul Hotel for making their guests feel welcomed and taken care of.

From the first moment, the staff and the owner of the hotel Mr.Harun surrounded us with their care: welcome drinks with some Turkish sweet and an original souvenir evil eye "for good luck", and decoration of the room with candles and rose petals. Beautiful breakfast on the terrace overlooking the Hagia Sophia. Any request is fulfilled quickly, efficiently and you really feel like a welcome guest. The hotel is located in the very center, it is difficult to think of a better location relative to the main attractions (walking distance to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace and much more). Well, if there is a desire to see more – the tram station is literally 1 minute away. A beautiful lobby, beautiful rooms, in the air there is a light, pleasant scent of perfume. Very comfortable bedding, the correct softness and size of the pillow, the blankets did the trick. slept great. In the room, on the table for us, boxes with personal protective equipment were displayed, in the bathroom a full set of cosmetics corresponding to the level of the hotel. Rooms are cleaned daily. The rooftop terrace of the Hotel deserves special praise, it is open around the clock. Here is breakfast, here you can have tea or coffee at any time and if you want other drinks and you can bring them with you to the terrace, the waiters will provide the necessary glasses. White House Hotel Istanbul we are in love with you.

Turkish hospitality knows no bounds and the staff at White House hotel Istanbul are first class in caring for travelers. When we entered our bags were immediately handled and we were seated to some awesome Turkish tea and Turkish delights. After a private introduction and WiFi setup we went to our tastefully appointed room. The staff here are so kind and truly cater to your every need. Breakfast on the terrace is a must with stunning views of Hagia Sophia and the golden horn of Istanbul. The location is perfect to see all the splendor that Istanbul has to offer, just up the street from major historical landmarks , Topkapi palace, Hagia Sophia, blue mosque, etc. it’s very safe to walk around at all times and a taxi can be around with no issue by the front desk for your daily travels (walking is sometimes easier because everything is so close!!) It’s no wonder there are so many incredible reviews of this amazing boutique hotel.

We weren’t sure what to expect with our trip to Istanbul due to the current Covid situation but the team at the White House Hotel ensured it was fantastic. The hotel itself is in a prime location if you want to explore the old town (palace, Hagia Sofia, bazaar etc). The rooms are very clean and have everything you need for a comfortable stay. They follow covid rules to the letter with everyone wearing masks, gloves used for self serving breakfast and sanitiser everywhere - they even provided a Covid grab and go Kit for every guests with sanitizer, masks and gloves. The rooftop is lovely and breakfast has a good selection of dishes to choose from and there was always plenty of it. But what makes this hotel so great is undoubtedly the staff. Everyone from the waiters to the front receptionists go the extra mile - they are incredibly polite and helpful and genuinely want to ensure your time is the city is as good as it can be. Would highly highly recommend.

Due to the pandemic we are living it we have been very indecisive about travelling and staying at hotels. However, i was surely not disappointed when i reached this hotel. We were greeted so warmly by the staff who ensured our comfort and safety at the hotel. Open buffet breakfast with a view of Hagia Sophia was the perfect way to start the day. A COVID kit, which contained gloves, hand sanitisers and a mask was provided to each person to ease our worries. The rooms are very spacious and clean, free tea and coffee are available 24/7 at the rooftop, location was immaculate and full of life. Very friendly and smiley staff who provided the best services including giving us a special gift at the end of our trip!! Would definitely stay here again :)

My friend and I enjoyed the comfort and hospitality of this lovely hotel. Very good location. Two minutes walk to the tram. Ten minutes walk to the port of Eminonu. The main attractions of the Sultanahmet area are within walking distance. The hotel has the terrace on the fifth floor. The view of the city and the sea is wonderful, it disposes to a pleasant contemplation during breakfast. The breakfast is very well spread and species are also amazing. For those who like sausage cuts, several types of cheeses, scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, stewed vegetables, olives, yoghurts, various muesli with nuts and dried fruits, pastries and sweets, even a honey comb. Everything just speaks of the good taste of the hotel. The furnishings of the room are top notch. Everything is clean and tidy, linen, towels, hairdryer, toiletries, dishes in the mini bar, a small refrigerator. There was hygiene kits provided in each rooms that includes masks hand sanitiezers etc. Constant replenishment of the mini bar, included in the price of tea, coffee, sugar, water. A must-have kettle. The air conditioners was working perfectly fine and silent. Last but most important part; staff who is a great example of Turkish hospitality. Everything, and everyone at this place makes us want to come back as soon as possible.

Of course everywhere in Istanbul food would be halal. Majority of people are Muslim in Turkey. The hotel also serves halal food.
Dear Albert R ;
Greetings from White House Hotel Istanbul !

I did not see a ramp at the main entrance to the hotel. Means, wheelchair bound guests would have difficulty. There is a lift going up the restaurant.
Dear Guest ;

Thank you very much for your kindly information e-mail to me. Firstly I would like to explain you about our shuttle service ;

The other choise is yellow cab which costs approximately between 18 and 20 Euros. There is a taxi meter in every cab , and it depends on traffic so this is not a fix price.
The third choise is tram and metro.. Firstly you should take the metro from Airport to Zeytinburnu station and then change to a tram until Sultanahmet station . After that out hotel is just 2 min by walking. It is the cheapest way. Totaly 10 TL per person and takes 1 hour.
