Spent 5 relaxing nights at Embassy Place Apartments, Phnom Penh. Great place for families, or friends travelling together. We booked a 2-bedroom apartment through their website, at USD77Nett per night. Apartment is a good size, at least 1000sq. ft, with 2 spacious bedrooms, one with king-size bed, the other with 2 singles; a lounge & dining area, & kitchen. Fully air-conditioned, cable tv in lounge & another in master BR, in-room safe deposit box, but only one bathroom with tub & shower.

Kitchen is equipped with fridge, cutlery, crockery, gas stove, microwave, toaster, and even pots & pans should you wish to cook. Also unlimited bottled water dispenser provided.

Hotel also has good-sized swimming pool & gym; free self-service laundry facilities, or laundry services provided for a fee. No restaurant, but morning delivery service of breakfast rolls available. Staff are friendly, helpful and speak English adequately. Service was prompt & good.

Very convenient location just across the street from the Independence Monument. Most city attractions within a 10-15min tuk-tuk (USD2) or motorbike ride(USD1) from hotel.

Good value & very comfortable facilities for families; we have 3 children, and they had a great time! Highly recommended!

We really liked Embassy Place. Good location, large two bedroom self-contained apartments with great air-conditioning and a lovely pool.

As previous reviewers have mentioned the apartments are a little dark and it is certainly an older building but the rooms and living area are really spacious and serviced daily.

The complex has gated security and is close to great restaurants and major attractions. I'd certainly stay again.

I have stayed at Embassy Place maybe 7 or 8 times since 2004 and returned in June 2014 for the first time in 5 years. Phnom Penh has changed considerably in the intervening years but thankfully the Embassy is as good as ever. We had booked for 5 nights but enjoyed the stay we extended for a further 6 nights.

The apartments are spacious, well laid out and well equipped. There is a full size kitchen, full size fridge / freezer, bottled water chiller, aircon in both bedrooms and the living area and daily maid service. You are able to do your laundry for free in the hotel's laundry (free as long as you fill and empty the machine yourself and supply laundry powder). The pool area is tranquil and lovely to spend a few hours under an umbrella of a hot afternoon. There is a well equipped gym with good aircon. The security is strong and vigilant, which is reassuring in Phnom Penh. Other than some distant traffic noise the place is peaceful, quiet and well managed.

I will definitely return to Phnom Penh and will definitely stay at Embassy Place again.

Special thanks to Samedi who cleaned the apartment beautifully each day :)

This place actually does have a few things going for it like the lovely pool, nice garden, big rooms, a good location and responsive staff. I don't want to be overly critical of a mid-tier hotel in a developing country but there are problems. A lot of things such as AC, phone, sinks and furniture were either broken or broke during our stay. The rats and the mice (yes, we saw and trapped both kinds) though were a bit much for us, even though we were promptly supplied with several traps.

We stayed at this apartment for 9 days, and I can absolutely say that it is an excellent stay. It is a service apartment, and fully furnished, too, in a strategic location. They have a pool, business center and fitness center. They have a garden, and the place is very serene. The rooms are large, and it has a terrace and kitchen. The people are so nice, warm and reliable.

The apartments were enormous in size and we were surprised by the amenities provided. Excellent value for money. However, there is no kitchen or restaurant available and food could be a problem if you are not willing to venture out or wait for home delivery.

Stayed 10 nights in a spacious one bedroom apartment right in the centre of Phnom Penh. This is one of the city's oldest residential units set in tropical gardens and walking distance from several quality restaurants. Quiet, secure with an excellent gym and swimming pool.

We stayed from 30 December 2015 to 5 January 2016. In beginning we stayed we don't have any problems. Everything is going well even though the building and the rooms so old. But hopefully they're maintenance and full equipment in the kitchen.
Till few days before we check out. Started we missed some our belongings such. Small bag of comestic,Mascaras, lipstick, lips balm, foundation, choker and my daughter new puppy doll missing.
Unfortunately we were not happy.
We reported to the management and they feels sorry by bought us beautiful bouquet of flower which is we will check out in hour.
So my tips, be careful with your belongings and Small things you leave when you are sightseeing and remember your stuff
Its not big things but is good to remind everyone who will stay with family there.
Sorry to says like that but it was the truth

We stayed in the apartment for two nights, with two children, and we loved our stay. This apartment-hotel is ideally situated in central Phnom Penh (close to the Independence Monument). The apartments are located around a quiet garden with trees and a huge swimming pool at the back. Our apartment was well furnished, clean, huge, with two separate bedrooms and a very large living-room, and all facilities (WiFi, kitchen etc). Nice terrace also in front of the apartment and overlooking the garden.
