This hotel sells itself as a four star hotel, however this is definitely not what you get. The hotel has great potential, especially considering its location and the number of staff around, however it completely falls short. Pros - Location is amazing, it is right in the heart…
From the start this hotel failed to meet expectations. The transfer, booked, didn't turn up. We waited 40 minutes then got a taxi. The hotel has potential, it has large (all be it dark rooms), and is well placed. The rooms weren't clean, the crockery and glasses had lipstick…
The positives far outweigh the negatives at this lovely hotel. But I do have reservations about it and a warning as well. Please read to the end. First of all, the place is beautiful. Public and private areas are classic Chiang Mai with lovely wooden touches and wonderful art…
This is in a great location for exploring old Chiang Mai on foot. Rooms were large and comfortable, staff great, breakfast a bit light on western offerings but when in Rome etc. Lots of eating options close by, I will happily stay here on my next trip to Chaing Mai.
I really love this old style tradition Thai design, they up-grated to my room, unexpected amazing large and comfort, only thing i need ti complaint for the flushing toilet, flushing water was too weak cause inconvenience, they should think about to improve, average was Very Good.
"As stated earlier, avoid the 'deluxe' rooms and go for the 'luxury' rooms with balcony."
"Choose rooms with balconies. It is worth it for the little extra you pay."
"A garden/pool view room was great for us"
"they gave us a room on the 2nd floor...we loved it!"
"Ground floor lead onto the pool"
