Great location by the river and skytrain lovely old style, palatial atmosphere. Everything is well organised and standards are high, eg bedding, towels and overall cleanliness. The breakfasts are served in the restaurant by the pool and are better than standard with fresh fruits, salads, egg captain and a variety of hot Asian foods as is normal in Thailand. The tv in our room was quite old but had many channels including Fox Film. The WiFi access is one time at the start and access everywhere is excellent. Great that smoking in rooms and all public spaces is banned - glad to find this hotel is totally nonsmoking including by the pool. We shall return.

The hotel booking site I used failed to let me specify that I wanted a twin room, and so on arrival there were no twin rooms available, but the man on reception gave us a good price on an upgrade (we were only staying one night) and we ended up with an enormous family suite which had twin beds in one room and a king size in another room. As a few other reviews have mentioned, the beds in this apartment-hotel are very hard!

I believe all the rooms come with kitchens, and washing machines which we didn't use as we were not staying long enough, but I'm sure would be very useful for a longer stay.

We chose this hotel due to it being walking distance from the Mandarin Oriental hotel which has the amazing Bamboo Bar, well worth a visit if you like Jazz. There is a shopping mall which you can access directly from the hotel.

This hotel was quite pricey compared to other similar 4 star hotels in Bangkok, but it was in a good location. It did take over an hour to get to the airport by car from here, due to the traffic. I think in future I would use the Sky Train.

Centre Point Silom is not perfect, but for the price paid, there are many good things:

1) Location in Silom a short walk from Skytrain and riverboats is great
2) The neigbourhood is nice with many good streetfoodoptions
3) The hotel is on top of The Robinson Department Store with a great supermarket in the basement
4) Rooms are big and has a kitchen with big fridge and freezer, microwave and stove. There is a washingmachine as well
5) Rooms called garden river view rooms have balconys with seating area. They are situated on higher floors, other rooms have balconys but they are not attractive
6) The pool is big and with saltwater
7) Service from staff is great

A few things could be better:
1) Rooms looks a little bit worn, but not a problem for us
2) Breakfast is mainly with asian food, understandable because most guests are asian, but for us it could be nice, with a better bread and cheeseselection
3) The Executive lounge is very, very basic. Not even sparkling water do they offer, only water from a dispenser, a few bananas and some preserved cakes. Coffee is Nes.

We have stayed 3 times now at Centre Point and we will be back

We booked the family room with a river view.
Room was huge although still only 2 king beds. Included kitchenette (with dining table and chairs) & washing machine which was great.
The kitchen and bathroom were quite tired/well used and in need of a refresh but still worked fine.

The pool was lovely although the surrounding deck is so narrow is places it is hard to get around the pool. However there is a lovely view of the city from the far end of the pool.
The hotel was also very busy.
The location was ideal - walking distance to Sky Train and ferry boats (and new ferry shuttle to Iconsiam- the latest and greatest mall) and the some local temples. There’s a small mall next door (with direct access from the hotel) which has a food hall in the basement and a great Tops supermarket.
Also some great restaurants and street food very nearby.

Our overall impression was favourable. We had not expected a kitchen suite, and it came with a combo washer/dryer. The bathroom was beginning to show its age, but functional. A wide variety of foods was available at breakfast (which we had included in the booking), and the staff made sure to bring English Breakfast tea to our table. The site is integrated with a Robinson department store, which has a food court and supermarket in its basement.

This hotel is in a fantastic location just a short walk from the MRT station, the ferry wharf on the river, and the bus stop on busy Charoen Krung Rd. And it's located on top of a Robinson's shopping mall with a food court and supermarket. It's a slightly older style hotel, but our super clean deluxe river view room was huge : more like a small apartment with kitchen and laundry facilities. Most importantly for Bangkok it had great AC. The breakfast buffet has a wide selection of styles, and the coffee is reasonable. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful, with an obvious focus on service.
We keep coming back, and would highly recommend it.

This hotel is in a perfect location in bust Bangkok, easy access to the river and boats also walking distance to the skytrain station. It is also accessible through the Robinsons shopping centre where you can also buy provisions and also has restaurants and a supermarket. The hotel is really lovely as well, staff on reception very welcoming and concierge were super helpful with all our questions. The room was large and had a balcony and large comfy bed plenty of storage and was kept clean. The breakfast was also excellent and had a large variety for all tastes.Would definately recommend.

Still a great choice for it's convenient location and the high standard of cleanliness throughout the hotel. Our deluxe room was spacious, comfortable and well-equipped but the aircon was extremely noisy. Yes, we did mention the problem at the front desk, but there was no improvement.

Having booked as members, we enjoyed access to the Executive Lounge which is a peaceful place to relax.

The breakfast offered plenty of choices but the food didn't look as fresh as on our previous visits. The service was good and friendly and the plates were cleared quickly.

In fact the staff were a high point of this hotel, welcoming, friendly and helpful throughout, and we recommend Centre Point Silom for a hotel in this price range.

Even it has 'Silom' after its name, this hotel located in the Bangrak area. The room is huge and very clean. I love the wooden floor and the bathroom, especially the kitchen where they prepare all the cooking equipment for you. The department store located on the ground floor where you can buy everything you need while staying here.

This hotel is in the heart of oldtown Bangkok , surrounded by famous local restaurants in a walking distance. A shopping mall is connected to the hotel everything you need or want in your life can be found here. Some rooms are river view rooms , the staffs are very friendly and diligent. I don't have a chance to try the breakfast in the hotel as I love exploring the local food nearby.

BTS sky train is just 3 minuets walk from the hotel's door as well as a pier which connect with Icon Siam ( free transfer) and many other piers , so it is the easy way to travel along the chao phraya river.
