"See.., feel.., and breath REAL Bangkok living." Established in early 1980s, River View Guest House is a family-run budget guest house which offers a truly unique experience. It is hidden among small alleys of Chinatown's Talad Noi area, but it is very famous the breath-taking view over Chao Praya River. Our "River Vibe Restaurant & Bar" is on our rooftop, serves Thai and European menu, extensive cocktail and wine lists, you can enjoy the moment with definitely 7-star view over Chao Praya River. River View Guest House is recognized world-wide and honored to be listed in world's most respectable guide books such as Lonely Planet, Rough Guide, Frommer's, Guide Routard, Fodor's, so as to be named.

Note - this review is on the restaurant, not the hotel portion. A group of 8 of us went here for dinner. We all liked the food. The music was so loud it was hard to talk among ourselves. The music that was being played was all oldies -- stuff that was new before the parents

Definitely Recommend going to this bar if you can find it that is! It is a short walk from yaowarat road but is worth it as The view is spectacular and the drinks are well priced. The staff are also really friendly.

In the 89's we used to stay at the River View when in BKK. Close to the river, affordable rooms and tucked away out of the mayhem. As we've aged our hotel tastes have changed and how we stay at the neighbouring Royal Orchid Sheraton, Shangri-La and the Chatrium Riverside BUT we

The essential feature of this place is its rooftop restaurant, with a magnificent view on the Chao Praya river and the neighbouring ***** hotels. Yet the price is very affordable. The place is on a 10 minutes walk from the (still) main trainstation Hua Lamphong, yet hard to

Hi.Is ur hotel near to Riverfront? And do ur hotel provide shutter service from railway station?
It is close to the river, you can see the river from the root top. It is not right on the river side but only a short walk 10minute or so to the roverboat stop. They have a shuttle they will pick you up from the air port if you pre organise it but not from the train station. It's about a 15-20 minute walk to the Hua Lamphung train/metro station.

Yes. We went out late a few nights arriving back at the River View 2am or later and there was always someone to open the door. It's a busy little hotel that treats its guest very well. you should definately book the rooms for a few nights its Awesome views and great food will make you want to stay longer. I just came from Bangkok and this place was the best place,we tried 4 other places that just did not have any charm or character like this hotel. We did upgrade our room to a room w a view of the river, it is soooo worth it!

Hi, are there lockers available at at the reception?
I dont think so. Havent seen them. You have lockers in the room though, but storing your stuff when you already checked out is just near the reception on the floor.
