We arrived late on Thursday after 23PM, initially we booked Novotel Ploenchit but we were relocated to this hotel and received upgrade (Accor Gold card member). So we got a very nice suite, separate bed room, connecting living room, small kitchen corner, office room, all looked great, thanks for that. Only the Internet TV was from the beginning a disaster, on both devices, many Thai TV channels were disrupted, and frozen broadcasting most of the time. Welcome amenities as Accor Gold member were not provided. Location was convenient, 500 m to the Skytrain Silom, 7 Eleven in the neighbourhood, during day a lot of street food For breakfast we went to the restaurant on the 19th Floor. Breakfast was great, lot of choices, and very personalized service by Mister MARTY working all the days we stayed (7), but always warm welcome, friendly and helpful. He is really great asset to this hotel, and helped for sure keeping its rate. Staff like this should be rewarded! The sanitary precautions due to the pandemic were followed correctly, even plastic gloves to be used at the buffet, and body temperature checked when entering the restaurant. The rooftop bar at the 24th floor was great, nice views, lounge music. Only the second day staff did was not aware that we were benefits of the Executive package.. Swimming pool at the 19th floor could use some painting, some tiles looked corrosive and brown, towels were provided, but some old or not white color.. After 5 days, the first flaws occurred, on reception level. The second connecting booking was not managed well, received phone at midday when we check out ? Finally it was arranged A bigger burden was the booking of a PCR test, needed for our return to Europe I had to repeat it every day, when it would be scheduled,every day we got the answer: don’t worry.. Finally the third request seemed to be the final one, they would come to the hotel at 6PM. We waited in the room, no one popped up, when i called the reception staff, they said we had to go to room 1010, but no one told us that before. After 7 night, we checked out and returned to Europe, perfect flight and service with Qatar Airways. One week back in Europe, our Accor points were not completely booked on our account, again we had to contact the reservation staff. And yes, finally it was fixed. That was a stay with some flaws, errors and frustration,that is not expected on a hotel of this category. The only one that fully deserve 5 stars is Mr MARTY! Of all our stays in 5* hotels in Bangkok this was for sure not a five star ranking, mainly due to some staff lacking good services. If you have to pay the full published rates, then there are better opportunities, all this because of poor management of some reception staff..

Nice hotel in central Bangkok near Lumpini park. Staff were excellent and very friendly. Great rooms. Rooftop bar was busy but a great location for a drink early evening. Restaurants nearby as well as in the hotel. 4 or 5 minutes walk to the BTS Station

Poor customer experience started from the very beginning when I was waiting for hotel’s response via e-mail for several days. When I called hotel reception, they told me it is normal to wait for an e-mail reply for up to 5 days, but in my humble opinion it is not. Due to current COVID regulation tourists from most countries need a PCR test and safe transfer arranged by the hotel. This is needed to get a Thai pass at least 7 days before you enter the country. Poor work of hotel desk/client service has put all my trip under serious risk. Hotel reception and all other related staff that I was forwarded to during my numerous phone calls were totally helpless in arranging the simpliest thing (PCR test upon arrival) for which the hotel basically got its “safe” SHA+ certificate. I managed to resolve my issue on my own which took me several nervous hours, without any help from the hotel. Hotel itself is a bit worn out, but generally good: stylishly furnished, great bath tub with a view on skyscrapers, excellent location. Breakfasts are very modest for 5* hotel, just ok. If you need to stay 7 days in Bangkok as us, you will get tired of exactly similar and very limited choice - better find a breakfast spot nearby. Having this hotel as a “partner” for your trip during pandemic and under changing regulation is dangerous. You can never rely on the hotel management if you need smth done on their side. Thus, our 2nd PCR test (6th day of stay) was late 1,5 hours from the scheduled time. As a result we missed part of our pricey private guided tour, not speaking about just precious holiday time. One may say that these are external difficulties caused by pandemic. Generally yes, but they are 100% manageable. Bangkok is a city with fairly good level of medical services, and a 5* hotel MUST arrange such services timely if their guests choose to pass a PCR test in the hotel (150$ per couple by the way) instead of a FREE test provided by Thai government in specially designated hospitals. I am not in a position to give recommendations to Accor top management, but as a customer and frequent traveler (almost always 5* hotels) I think that the physical part of the hotel is still very good and under proper management the hotel could have made a completely different impression. Overall this was a bad experience and I will not recommend the hotel to my friends and will not return myself.

The place was clean, the room was good except they couldn’t provide bathrobe during this time. The breakfast is buffet but it didn’t meet my expectation, there were less choices for food. Couldn’t watch any channels on TV.

1. Wrote a email to the hotel before my stay for the bed preference, no reply. 2. During check in, nothing was considered for my gold membership. I have even asked by myself for the welcome drink and room upgrade. 3. When I talked about the welcome amenities for the gold member, the answer was we do not offer. (I believe this is not according to the ALL policy) 4. Reception in general is not friendly compare to the Thailand standard. 5. The pool area is not well organized, it looks like nobody in the hotel is taking care of the pool area. 6. Towels are too old, the color has been changed from white to light grey. 7. Breakfast has very limited choice.
