We stayed at the Himalayan Suite Hotel for one night before and after our trek to EBC with Himalayan Social Journey and were delighted with the quality and comfort there. Just outside Thamel, it is on a quiet side road and very tranquil. Our dual aspect room was, as requested, on a higher floor and was bright and spacious with a nice en suite bathroom, very comfortable bed, balcony, interesting views and well stocked tea and coffee making facilities. The restaurant food was delicious and reasonably priced and all of the staff were very friendly and helpful. My daughter enjoyed a well deserved and apparently excellent massage in the Spa after our trek. We would certainly highly recommend this hotel and look forward to staying here again when we return next year for another trek.…

Me and my friends stayed in Himalayan Suite Hotel for the weekend and loved the stay. The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. The food was absolutely delicious. The hotel also has a spa and jacuzzi services for very cheap price. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Kathmandu.

Did a trek to EBC with a group of friends and ended up staying here twice in a 3 week timespan and each time was amazing. Amazing service, staff, and food! Everything was great here and I can’t recommend it enough. Our group even stayed at another Resort after our stay here, and it made me appreciate this place even more. If you’re coming to Kathmandu for any reason, STAY HERE!

The Himalayan Suites provided great customer service and bent over backwards to support a large group throughout an Everest basecamp trek. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone doing this trek or staying in Kathmandu.

Our group stayed at the Himalayan hotel twice over 3 weeks, on the front and back end of our hike to Everest Base Camp. Both times the staff were incredibly helpful, the hotel was very clean and well-stocked, and the food at the restaurant was delicious. Ishwor and Sagar in the restaurant always served us promptly and politely, and Nawaraj at the front desk was very helpful with currency exchange, printing, shipping parcels, etc. Our Everest guides, Mingmar and Binod, were excellent. Through logistical challenges with flights, bad weather, and gear issues, these two worked tirelessly to get us to Base Camp and ensure we had a successful trek. I highly, highly recommend staying at the Himalayan Suite Hotel. The reasonably priced food and spa services, clean and modern rooms, and excellent staff will make your experience a great one.…

Loved our stay at this place. Cheap food, drinks, and services, plus wonderful staff and good accommodations. Great spot in Kathmandu too, very close to some fun stores, bars, and hotel owner has connections to tour services and the like. Awesome place!
