I have been here saveral time for stay and for food. Cozy place in thamel. No crowd here around, really peaceful place, room and bathroom fantastic, nice staff, rooftop restaurant and bar I love, coffee and some drinks with beautiful view of monkey temple, quality of food and cost worthy, in overall I like all the facility of Arushi Boutique hotel, If anyone looking for nice accommodation this will be perfect for you. Massage chair I used freely and some workout in fitness, Hartley recommended this hotel to everyone. Thanks Arushi Team.
The Arushi Boutique Hotel was very accommodating! The rooms were spacious and comfortable, especially after a 14 day trek in the mountains. We spent time each day on the rooftop bar, where we had drinks and amazing views of the city. The location was central in Thamel and we could get anywhere within 10 minutes walking. The hotel staff was very attentive to our needs. They helped me schedule a PCR test before traveling back to the US. Their continental breakfast each day was very plentiful and good. Overall, we had a great stay!
We stayed at Arushi for two nights to explore Kathmandu as a family with a young child. We have rated this a 4 out of 5. Staff: All staff we encountered were very friendly, helpful and we had no bad things to say at all. Wonderful! Room: We had a room with a double and a single bed for our daughter which was perfect. Lots of space, even a sofa and table inside. Shower was hot and powerful, had a bath and was ideal. Balcony was a little small and had two chairs that you couldn’t do too much with but it was nice to have it as an option in the morning to open the doors. Breakfast: I hate to say it as I honestly am not a fussy eater but it wasn’t great. We always choose to have breakfast included but I struggled to choose much of anything. Toast it is with an apple. 🥴 No fresh coffee just I stand granules. Terrace:Stunning at sunset and it is good to enjoy a cold beer from the bar and a dip in the pool - Oh wait the pool was super murky and we were told it would be clean by tomorrow as it was out of bounds. Tomorrow came and went and it still resembled a green pond. This sadly was a little let down. Location: Tucked down an alley in Thamel but clearly signposted. In the bustle of things yet quiet. Perfect! Overall a good hotel that could be wonderful. Just clean that pool so it can be used and add some decent coffee with waffles and you’re there!…
We checked in Arushi in May 2022 with a very cold welcome. Hotel’s location was good, rooms were clean and spacious. We had two rooms at this hotel. One of the rooms’ bathroom door hasn’t got an arm. This was probably because it’s broken. Additionally, shower cabin was broken too. This is a 4 star hotel, you can not completely close or lock the door because bathroom door hasn’t got an arm and water drains out since the shower cabin was broken. Housekeepers made too much noise at corridors around 8:00 am, it was impossible not to wake up. Breakfast was OK. As a result, location is good, breakfast is OK, rooms are good but hotel needs to repair all broken things, warn housekeepers to be silent and wellcome it’s guests warmer. We are not unhappy since we stayed here but we are sure a better hotel may be found with the same price.…
Arushi hotel and staff were excellent. They took care of all our needs. Great breakfast, coordinated tours, transportation. Hotel is very nice and comfortable. Showers were great. Food was good. The rooftop bar is an awesome spot to have a drink and see the entire Kathmandu skyline. They helped us get required Covid tests, took care of our luggage while we trekked. It was safe, clean and fun place to stay. Great central location in Thamel. I would highly recommend the Arushi.
