big hotel with ZERO staff. no service available. no one picks up the room service or house keeping hotlines. Reception is under staffed and they can not cater to all your needs. We booked the three bedroom apartment for one night and found a lot of dust in the whole apartment. Felt like they cleaned it a month ago and then forgot about it. Maybe this apartment does not get booked frequently but they should clean it regularly. No food can be ordered after 9pm. They have a night menu but that is not available now. No one informed us about this during check in. We ordered food from outside and asked for a few plates which they refused to give. They said they can not provide plates at this hour (10.30 pm)!! Its far away from Thamel so we thought we might get some rest but there is a party going on in the 2nd floor and we are on the 3rd floor. its horrible. There are thousands of pictures of the property on booking.com and other places that shows exotic foods and cocktails. Photos of people enjoying on sky deck. But in real there is no one. It is completely deserted.…
When we entered hotel .. receptionist told Wi-Fi will start in 5 minutes but not started in 30 minutes…. Restaurant food is average staff is very less and confused … Now for hot water in bath area you have to call reception every time then may be you are lucky if water starts … one evening mud water came from wash area … so plan accordingly
Our group stayed at the Crowne for two weeks in the three bedroom apartment on the third floor. It was very nice as it had three bathrooms as well. The pros of the apartment were the space, the comfortable beds, nice lighting in the bedrooms, fantastic black out curtains and overall quiet. The bathrooms were also very nice. The downside of the kitchen is that there are no dishes or silverware or anything to cook with. Also the lighting in the kitchen is very poor. The staff at the Crowne are the best! They are super friendly and aim to please. One staff, Kabim, was especially kind, friendly and thoughtful. All of the staff seemed to genuinely enjoy their jobs. The one thing that was concerning was that events are held periodically in the hotel banquet rooms and on these days, children would be riding the elevator like a carnival ride and running up and down the hallways screaming and yelling during the event. They need to work on containing the young participants of these events. There is a sky deck that offers a marvelous view of Kathmandu especially at night. Unfortunately the bar is not in use because there are water problems with the roof of the bar. There are two restaurants in the hotel and both are very very good. We enjoyed many meals in both places. The area around the Crowne is not great for walking but many places are a short taxi ride away and the hotel is great at hiring taxis as well as providing transit to and from the airport. I would definitely stay at the Crowne again if I am in Kathmandu. Overall it was quiet, clean, with a great staff and I felt very cared for and at home there.…
I stayed at the Crowne Imperial for a week in February and was really impressed with the high quality service. From the airport pick up with Sujan to the super comfortable rooms, the great food and service by Rebecca and colleagues in the restaurant to the daily attentiveness of all -- myself and the entire group I was with really enjoyed our stay. Thank you!
i recentely visited crown imperial for breakfast.. very much impressed with all the staffs and service over there, especially rebeca who was pretty sure to make our visit more comfortable... thanks to her and the whole team .. hats off to all the team
I had been there for morning breakfast with my friends..we had delicious breakfast and the service was great. Many thanks to Rebecca for her service.I recomend to everyone to visit thia awesome property in kathmandu😍😍😍
My wife and I stayed at the hotel for a total of five nights. Location is perfect for getting around Kathmandu. Ample amount of taxis in the area to get where you need to go. Location of the hotel is quiet for restful nights. The rooms are modern, clean and comfortable. We stayed on the upper floor and had a great view of the city. The staff are professional, and efficient. Breakfast was buffet with many choices. I would like mention one member of the restaurant staff that stood out in her friendliness and kindness...Rebecca, she made me feel welcome and even special. I will remember her as part of the wonderful experience I had in Nepal.
The staff members at the Crowne Imperial were outstanding. Everyone I encountered was friendly, professional, and did their best to make my stay special. The hotel is quite new, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was also delicious. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you’re visiting Kathmandu.
I stayed November 2019 for 9 nights. Excellent hotel, and, as I was there on my own (for 1 week) the hotel staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Rooms clean and stylish with a great breakfast. I noticed the hotel manager is on the ball, nice guy, with attention to detail. A new hotel well worth a visit. A special mention to Nisha, Rakesh, Maess who added a nice feel to my stay, and even the guards at the front of the hotel who helped me with taxis etc. and a friendly wave. Would definitely recommend...
It should be the member of bests! Lovely, praceful and very clean. Sufficient food (buffet); an amazing roof bar with an amazing view. It deserves “recommended”... Close to downtown. Smiling staff and a warm atmosphere.
